Katherine asked the second year why were their Charms homework useless. "It is not-,"Cash paused. "It is not useless per se. It is just I do not know the answer for it"Cash let out a groaned of frustration. They stare at the questions. There are only two of them but it it annoyed the green eyes to no end. They glare at the question that mocking them.

The green eyes give up working on their homework. They pushed it aside and turn around to face Katherine. They let out a laugh when Katherine said the two of them are the only one that keeping the classroom not dead. As she put it like 'someone's funeral'. The purple hair listen intently when Katherine said she is not afraid of people.

But people should be afraid of her. When Katherine spit so bitterly about her house, Cash's eyebrows rise. It is not that often someone hate their house with passion like Katherine did. A lot of them in fact proud of their houses.

"Why did you hate Gryffindor so much? I mean some people that I know, they hate it first but later on it grow on them. And yeah some of them are half-brained idiots like how you put it but not all that bad"Cash unintentionally defend their friends who belong to the house of crimson and gold. It seems what Katherine said about Charms struck their nerve.

"Not all Professor Vernatis lesson is useless, you daft! Or do you think you are too smart for his class so you and your sharp - tongue said that? In fact if not for his class, I would not survive in this school last year. You do not know what had happened in this school. Bad stuff! Charms and alongside other classes in this school help me survive those horrible year"Cash eyes blaze with fury.

The young girl is amusing but Cash need to think twice if they want to associate with someone like Katherine.

Katherine heard cash speak saying it wasn't useless oh well it must be hard for her to answer it, Katherine just didn't respond but laid her head back and looked at the ceiling. the Slytherin broke the silence again asking why Katherine hated the Gryffindors so much. This was the second time she was asked this but with another curious and too-soft Slytherin.

Well Katherine didn't like them they were different than her, Katherine didn't want to be the hero of the story instead she wanted to be the powerful villain who ended it and ruled the kingdom and everyone was wrapped around her fingers. while the other Gryffindors well were does she start?

They are pathetic losers who cared about being remembered as heroic, kind and the best quidditch players. They were people who wanted to save the day, but all Katherine wanted was to win the day. They were too pathetic for Katherine, well not all of them she has found some Gryffindors worth of her time .

Katherine put down her legs and sat normally on the chair yet turned round to face cash" well firstly im, not all people, I'm myself I do what I wanna do and not all of them are bad, but Gryffindors wanna be heroic and save the day and be kind and abide the rules and all that crap, I'm different I wanna win the day, I'm not someone to be commanded, I command. I make my own rules, I love mischief, I love power and being myself, so no I don't technically fit these pathetic losers.

Cash spoke in anger protecting the charms teacher, well Katherine doesn't stand him she doesn't know why she just doesn't stand him. maybe because of his phoney accent or how he acts, she just doesn't know. she just smirked back and spoke " eh I'm not daft! I don't think the spells could protect me from real danger or whatever, but we both have our opinions so I won't argue with you, we will just end up in another argument and I'm honestly not in the mood, we will have the debate later when I have the energy to beat you",

Katherine spoke then looked down at the floor then back up at cash waiting for her to respond.

Cash listened to every bit of what Katherine said why she did not fit into the house of Lion. The more they listened to what Katherine told the green eyes, she ticked off all of the traits and values of the Serpent house. Katherine herself for a first year full of ambitions, driven, a hint of cunningness in her.

Cash wondered could the Sorting Hat put people into the wrong house? Cash had been told the sentient Hat never put people in the wrong house. At the mention of Gryffindor kind, a wanna be heroes and all of the want to save the day; Cash let out another laughed. "You hit the bull eyes there. What you said are so on point"Cash quipped.

Cash did not know whether Katherine understand their reference but Cash hoping Katherine understand of the reference. At the mention of Katherine fondness of power makes Cash eyebrows shoot out. "I mean everybody loves power in their own way"Cash said. Then the sense of something chilling in them erupted and slowly awakening deep within themselves.

Cash always know they have a dark side since they are a Parselmouth after all but the green eyes had been told it will not change who they are. Katherine once more rebuked what the purple haired expressed to her. She fight back by saying she is not daft and so standoffishly exclaimed the spells could protect her from real danger.

Wait until you are really in danger then you can said otherwise the second year Beater thought to themselves. Cash then nodded their head. "What you said are true,"Cash replied back. "We do have our own opinions. If we keep hell-bent saying our own matters of opinions are better than one others, we will end up in another argument. So, agree to disagree then?"Cash peered at Katherine to see if she agree or not with what the green eyes uttered.

The green eyes then peered down on their abandon Charms assignment. The two questions still mocking them. Cash almost took out their wand and Incendioed the whole thing if only Cash did not value the long hard work they put into the assignment. Cash sighed and they stand up from where they seated.

They gathered all their belongings and collected it on their arms. Slowly they walked out from the classroom. When the stood on the door they turned around and face the young Lioness.

"If you ever heard the rumor the Chamber of Secret existed in this school, I would not deny it nor confirmed the existing of such place but I see the symbol of snake on one of the those broken, dirty, grim and rusty faucet in the abandoned toilet,"Cash told Katherine.

"Maybe you could entered it or maybe you could not, either way it is not like you are a Parsel. Of what I heard only Parselmouth can enter the place. Good luck with that"The green eyes throw a small wave at Katherine. With that they walked out the room and direct their steps toward the basement where Slytherin house located.

Cash really really need to finished their assignment. Hopefully this time around no one interrupted them.
