Henry figured getting in trouble may be the only reason that his father writes to if even that. Since his father never wrote to the boy during his first year not that Henry expected him to, his father was almost always away for ministry business or something else leaving Henry alone with his siblings not that he ever cared anyway. But that started to get Henry thinking if he caused some trouble and got caught maybe then he'll see a letter from his father.
Pulling away from his thoughts, Henry smiled a bit toward Logan as he spoke " how do you know I'll get caught? And don't worry I'm not that rubbish of a friend to bring you down with me, you can ask from the side as I sit through detention," Henry doubted his father would even care so he left out anything about getting a howler from him to begin with.
Henry felt Logan's arm wrap around him like a half hug so he wrapped his own arm around to return the half hug as he listened and laughed a bit at her comment. Before he would say himself, " I'm touched you can't stay angry at me and so I will repay your kindness by-" Henry then spoke dramatically but quietly " by taking your end of Year exams for you," Henry laughed a little as he blushed his hair back with his hand and looked over at Logan

Logan rolled her eyes as he said he wouldn't take her down with him. That wasn't her issue, her issue was that she would be afraid he would hurt himself and come along with him anyway. "Of course you wouldn't bring me down with you, I would end up bringing myself down because I would think you would hurt yourself." She could just imagine getting yelled at by a professor because the two of them were caught outside after curfew.
Leaning against Henry a bit, she looked up at him with a grin on her face. "Oh, if you are willing to take my end of the year exams, by all means get into as much trouble as you would like. It would make me very happy if I could at least get all E's this year." She giggled at the thought of him taking both his and her exams just to make her happy.
"We should probably get into the carriage," she stated as she noticed most of the students had already gotten into theirs and had headed to the castle. She didn't want to be left to walk to the castle because the two of them got distracted by the beautiful Thestrals.

Henry smiled at Logan when he heard her words and wrapped his arms around her shoulders before he spoke " you risk detention for me Robin, you seriously the sweetest best friend I could ask for by actually have you thought of a career as a healer from as much as you care for others getting hurt," Henry released his best friend just to feel her leaning up against him
" Alright then it's settle, I'll take your exams for you Logan so this summer we can hang out instead of you worrying about lessons," Henry joked with Logan as his eyes still lingered on the creature in front of them for a bit longer.
Henry heard her voice and nodded as he spoke " uh yeah good idea," Henry looked at the Thestral for a few more minutes before wrapping his arm around his best friend and looking for a carriage and after a while the to would find one, Henry would ride the rest of the way to Hogwarts in the carriage with Logan as he squeezed her hand and thought how that year will be different, how he will be different, how second year will be better
