If You Can't Do, Then Teach PV Alexa ReOpen

@Alexa Mackenzie
Willow had long since quit Quidditch, she quit almost as soon as the year started. She had now found herself in dueling which she now had mixed feelings on. A lot of things didn't make sense to her now. Even if her team won she left the fight feeling useless and ultimately like a drag down to her team rather than an improvement on it. In the Durmstrang match she barely blocked any of the quaffles that came towards her, no matter what she did. In dueling she could barely get a spell off through the sniffling and the laughing. She seemed to be a weak link in everything she did.

One benefit of doing Quidditch for almost a year was the fact that she was a pretty great flier now. With the extra practice outside of the class she found quite an easy time succeeding in the elective. Flying still kind of terrified her, but in class there was a significant decrease in the threat of being knocked off. She didn't want to drop the class because of how free and light she felt when flying, plus she quite enjoyed Professor Jemari's teaching. He was a pretty cool teacher. Although, it was hard not to be cool teaching something like flying. There was one girl that Willow was familiar with because she was on the dueling team with Willow, while they weren't paired she was fairly familiar with the girl. She decided to fly over during their free flying time and say hi. "Hey Alexa~ We never talk outside of dueling so I wanted to come say hi." A bright genuine smile lit up the girls face. She leaned forward on her broom, a position she had mastered while waiting on drills she wasn't involved in to finish during Quidditch practice. "How ya doing?

Flying and talking with @Willow Anderson.

Sorry for the delay!

Concentrating as hard as she could, Alexa steadied her broom with a little trepidation as she rose into the air. A little wobbly at first… Why couldn’t she just get this? She was a good student, at least in every class except flying. It’s the only class she had ever gotten an “A” in, and she was determined to do better. But she wasn’t sure if that would be her luck!

Prof. Jemari intimidated her more than any of the other professors, even though he seemed like a cool person. It’s just that is subject was one that Alexa could not seem to master, and it frustrated her greatly.

As she rose into the air, she saw a familiar face drawing near. She was pretty sure the girl was named Willow, and she knew her from the dueling team. She had talked to her some when they were practicing for dueling, but hadn’t spoken much outside of that. She smiled at the other girl as she approached, and then her grip slipped on her broom and she wobbled again a little dangerously.

“Hey Willow! I’m doing okay… As you can see, I’m not the best flyer! You seem great that it, though,” she added with a smile. She wondered where the other girl had learned. Having not paid attention to Quidditch her first year, she didn’t know anything about the team, or that Willow had been a member.
