Cody walked into the great hall with great expectations. Today he thought I will go to my first magical creatures class. Cody was so giddy he almost forgot about Alex who was standing right next to him. Hey Alex? he said when is our first flying class? I missed the sign up for quidditch. Cody was actually sad about that. Why didn't he make it in time arrgghh. Cody pushed it from his head, maybe he would cheer up in care for magical creatures. I sent Daniel an owl so he might met us soon. said Cody.
how long does it take the school owls Cody thought he whipped out his phone to check the internet. Darn no service! Cody was very interested in muggle items so when he got a phone from his parents for christmas (they had no clue what it was but got him it anyway) he had stuck to it like glue he even brought it to hogwarts (which was no use). Cody put it back into his pocket quickly he didn't want to be laughed at for having it. So he sat down and grabbed the closest food he could find, he didn't kno whe was so hungry until then and it didn't help that he loved food.

Do you know we only get classes after 10 days after registration and 20 posts? But for IC sake I'll go along with it.
I think our first flying class is tomorrow... I didn't get my timetable so I don't know. Alex said. Oh, and there's a waitlist for Quidditch. Apparently there is so many people who signed up that I'm on the waitlist too! The sign up sheet is in the Common Room, and I think they're still accepting applications. Alex scooched over a bit to make room for Daniel. He should be coming soon, I think. If he doesn't come soon, the good food will be gone. Alex saw Cody staring at a cell-phone. Having a muggle parent helped him to understand a bit in both worlds. Waiting for Daniel, Alex would've taken out his dung bomb, his only non-school possession, but, well, he gave it to Cody, and he might've gotten caught having a dung bomb. He wasn't sure whether just possessing it breaks school rules. Not that he regretted giving the bomb to Cody, being caught trying to disrupt a class could land you in detention, and that was the last thing Alex wanted. Pulling his mind back to the present, he looked at the vast amount of food in the table. Alex decided to eat more, talk less, and wait for Daniel to show up.

Daniel walked through the great hall doors, his shoulders slumped down, facing down at the floor, rubbing his eyes, probably due to the low amount of sleep he had last night, he was sat up reading 'Hogwarts: A History' his parents' had told him much about the school before he had arrived but he wished to learn more, not that he can remember most parts of it, being half asleep.
He waved over to both Cody and Alex, two Gryffindor students he had met previously, he'd sluggishly make his way over to them "Sorry I am late...didn't get much sleep last night." he'd slump down beside Alex, placing his hands on the table, he'd look towards the food, shaking his head slightly "I'll probably skip breakfast...not really hungry." he'd then turn his head towards the both of them "How are you guys this morning?"
he would begin to think to himself in his head 'not really a good impression, Daniel...being late to breakfast and making your new friends wait...' he'd give them both a smile, though upset he was late, though he'd remember what one of his teachers from his old school once said 'Just because you may think they are annoyed..does not mean they are' he'd shush the thoughts inside his head and paying attention to Cody and Alex.
