Distracted Thoughts
"I'm from london England."Eri looked at Quinn and walked into the library. How had she almost missed it. Her thoughts had been getting her distracted way to much today and she did not like it. "I'm going to get a few books and sit at the table." She walks in no longer distracted. She felt like she belonged there. She grabbed a book on transfiguration and went back to sit down at the table in the library. She would read every book in this library someday. That would be her main goal.
She smiled as she started to read the book and drift back off into her distracted ways. Hopefully he would not mind that she was so distracted. She started to drift off farther and farther into her thoughts slowly.
Eri loved transfiiguration. She liked seeing things change into something else. She also loved going outside into the beautfiul scenery around Hogwarts. It was like a home away from home at Hogwarts. She loved the place. She loved the library and felt like it was her home. Where she belonged. It was the only place that had enough books to keep her learning for years. It would probably take her all of her time at hogwarts to read all the books or even longer.

Distracted Thoughts
Quinn smiled, London huh. I wonder what that place is like,his parents have been plenty of times but he himself never have. Pondering this he went Quinn to the section on creatures and grabbed the book "Creatures of the Isles".
"Oh,this should be a fun read." Satisfied with his pick for the day he took the fairly hefty book, bringing it back to the table that Eri was sitting at. Quinn glanced at her book he couldn't really tell what it was from his quick glance, but whatever it was had her completely distracted.
It must have been quite the read to cause her to be so engrossed. Perhaps she just enjoyed books like himself. Taking his seat next to her Quinn cracked open the book to the first page. Carefully and slowoy he began to read softly mumbling the words back to himself.
He was barely the first page in and the book already had his full attention. It was the first volume no less,but if he wanted to surpass his parents in their own fields of research then he would learn everything he possibly could about the wizarding and muggles world.
I will know everything there is so I can question everything there is Resolving to do just that Quinn continued his concentrated reading stopping at the third page suddenly. "Um..."He turned to Eri trying to get her attention. "Hey Eri I don't mean to be rude, but do you have a pen and some partchment I left mine in my room." He chuckled softly rubbing his neck a bit embarrassed,that he would forgot something like that.

Distracted Thoughts
Er nodded and she reached into her bag and grabbed a peice of paper and a quill. "Here." Then she looked back to her book on transfiguration. It was a good book and she did not want to stop reading it. She took in every word of the book. The leather book was a big book and had gold cursive hand writings on the front. She loved the subject on transfiguration the best.
She looked over to see what Quinn was reading. It looked interesting. Then she looked back over to her book and got engrossed again. She just loved reafing it was one of many things that helped her calm down.
She did not want to talk very much, but if he asked her questions she would answer him.
She loved to read books on anything educational. She loved everything she could learn. It made her want even more knowledge. She smiled as she was reading. She sighed hapily.
The brunette wiped a stray peice of hair away from her face. She looked at him to see what he was doing. Then she looked back towards her book and began to read her transfiguration book. She was way to distracted.
She looked over to see what Quinn was reading. It looked interesting. Then she looked back over to her book and got engrossed again. She just loved reafing it was one of many things that helped her calm down.
She did not want to talk very much, but if he asked her questions she would answer him.

Distracted Thoughts
Quinn thanked Eri and then went back to the first page of the book. Immediately he began to jot down various key points that he thought were important enough to know. The book was itself was rather thick with greenish-black leather and gold flaked etching on the front. It appeared to depict some sort of dragon like serpent on the front. The pages were quite worn and yellowed with age.
The book appeared to be focused mainly on the magical beasts that inhabited the British Isles. It was simply named "Creatures of the Isles." Quinn hadn't had a chance to really check their standard school textbook "Fantastic Creatures and Where to Find Them", but hopefully this book was just as detailed.
The further that Quinn got engrossed the more he began to write and small sketches he made on the paper he was given. By the time he realized it Quinn had already gotten on the fifteenth page of the book and counting. The paper he was given was filled on both sides with notes and sketches. Sighing he put the pen down and glanced over at Eri. "Hey I don't mean to be a bother but can you hand me one sheet, I'll pay you back next time." He smiled hoping she didn't think he was being a nuisance.
"Hey...if you don't mind me asking why do you want to read all the books in the library. I mean is it for the knowledge, do you have a goal, or is it something else?" He paused for a moment letting the question sink in. "I mean I noticed you're pretty engrossed in that book and seem pretty content here so I was mainly curious."
Deciding to press on Quinn slicked back his curly hair again. Moving some of the stray strands out of the way of his freckle covered face. "I'm doing this because there is still so much we don't know. People might like to think we know a lot and maybe we do, but I want to learn all I can so I can discover the undiscovered and research it." He finally stopped looking directly at Eri now.

I made a mistake in my earlier post and decided to change the name of the book. I'll go back in and edit the title of the book in my previous post.

"Huh, oh sure. To prove to somebody that they should have not left me." She frowned. She was thinking about her parents that left her at home with her aunt so they could travel and be journalists for the daily prophet. They never send her any gifts. Just a birthday card once a year. She wishes they would spend more time with her but they never even got to see her grow up. They were to busy with their job and that made her very mad.
She smiled at him and looked at him and saw he was dead serious. "Well just to learn as much as I can." She looked back at her book and began to be reading again. She didn't like to think about her family except her aunt. She just didn't want to regret everything she might have done to get them to leave her like that. Was she a disappointment? She sure felt like she was to them.

"Huh, oh sure. To prove to somebody that they should have not left me." He heard her say which actually caught him off guard. She was quite up front with her attentions, which he quite liked as that meant he didn't have to 'dance' around the subject as his Dadeo would say. "Well you know my reasons since I just told you, but I guess for me it also stems from the fact that I want to um...prove myself to my parents. They're pretty well regarded on the Ministry of Magic Research Committee and that can be a bit much too live up to at times." He paused for a moment looking down. "It's kind of expected for me to follow in their footsteps you know? I mean I really don't mind it falls in line with my own goals, but sometimes I guess I question if it's really my goal."
Additionally Quinn noticed her frown and it seemed like the topic was a bit sad for her. Perhaps something with her family. Maybe, but I won't pry for now. "Hey if you don't mind me asking is that a transfiguration book?" He looked over to her text trying to get a good look. "Do you fancy it? I only ask because you seem so engrossed with it." Quinn knew that the questions were out of the blue, but he needed to change the subject.
What she had told him stirred up questions in his mind he thought he already had answers too. This caused him to furrow his brow unsure of what to say next.

"Yes it is transfiguration. My aunt taught me some transfiguration. It is my favorite subject, so fascinating. I aspire to be an animagus. My aunt is an animagus. She said it took a lot of hard work and I am not scared to take that path." She put the book down since she just finished it and stood up crossing to a shelf. Reaching up, the brunette grabbed two transfiguration books. Crossing back to the table Eri sat down and began to read again. Getting just as engrossed in this book as she got in the last. Transfiguration really was interesting.
She smiled at him and looked back down at her book. She loved the subject. "I mean yes I fancy the subject. It is the only subject I really know. It is interesting being able to change one thing into another totally different object. There are werewolves in this book. Those are fascinating. Do you know anything about werewolves?" She asked totally happy that he asked about her favorite thing to talk about. It was interesting to see people talk about there favorite subject. They had passion whenever they spoke. Smiling she looked at him before returning to her book.

His eyes lit up again. "Why yes, I haven't researched them as much as I would like but from what I do know they are quite fascinating. Though if I remember correctly they haven't exactly been treated quite fairly in the past." He rubbed his chin trying to think, "hmmm....right! Additionally there is no cure for lycanthropy and they can't control their transformations. Still I think werewolves are cool." He smiled laughing softly and allowing himself to continue on with the knowledge he currently had on them.
It wasn't very often that he got the chance to showcase his knowledge especially on things that caught his fancy. He scooted over closer wanting to get a better look. "What do you know of werewolves, I assume a lot since transfiguration is your favorite subject. Wanting to be an Animagus I think is a pretty awesome goal to want to achieve."

The more he thought about the more he realized he might be a bit jealous of her reading ability. Which was quite funny, as Quinn was never really the jealous type nor had he really seen it much. "Well I know a lot but I don't want to bother you with it since you pretty much know about them. I see you fancy magical creatures. Is it a favorite subject or a passion you would like to know everything about? Is there someone in your family who is in this division and you want to surpass them in knowledge to prove them you can learn?" She smiled at him and put his book down and looked directly at him. It seemed he really loved the subject of magical creatures. She looked bak down at her book and reopened it.
Learning always sparked interest in her. She loved to read so much. The knowledge in books would always keep her from going insane. She loved reading so much it made her feel like the world was full of so much knowledge. It made her very happy in the world.
She smiled at him and started reading her book. She continued to get sucked into her book. Going farther and farther from reality. Becoming engrossed enough where she won't be able to to hear him. She wanted to read every book in the entire world but that might never happen.
Learning always sparked interest in her. She loved to read so much. The knowledge in books would always keep her from going insane. She loved reading so much it made her feel like the world was full of so much knowledge. It made her very happy in the world.

"It is one of my favorites I have to admit,however as for anyone in my family no one is a magizooologist."He smiled and began to get back to his book. "I've just always had a passion for the world and what lies in it, the people,the places, the creatures. I seek to attain all this knowledge so I can see what is missing and then find it. The unknown is truly fascinating and I suppose that's why I love reading so much, because there is so much I don't know."

"As for my favorite topic, creatures aren't if I had to pick it would be two topics in general astronomy and history of magic. There's so much you can learn from the past and even better still as of yet unsolved mysteries!? It's absolutely fascinating I hope to one day be the top researcher in the magical world. To prove to my peers that I am not just an air-head, someone who is easily distracted. I need to prove to them that I am dedicated to my goals, and I'm willing to put in the effort I won't back down on my beliefs. Just like I won't back down when my friends need me of that you can be sure." He puffed out his chest rather proudly looking at you.
Again Quinn realized that he must have looked rather daft in front of Eri.
