Henry wasn't quite sure what to do, he wasn't about to leave and rosk the others getting into trouble for something they didn't do even through Henry didn't do it either. He heard Rose mention cleaning up and may have gotten nervous or his anxiety may have started looming over his head again as a list of pros and cons floated in his head on why he should help or leave. Henry leaned back on a desk as his anxiety was looming over his and his mind was filled with thoughts, just so the others couldn't tell he was nervous or anything.

As panic and anxiety flowed through Henry, he heard Alina agree with Rose and started to help her clean up. He couldn't help but quickly glance at the door just in case the professor enter the room but how suspicious he would look to a professor, standing off to the side and slightly panicking. The thought made him panic more as he then heard the first year; Akari say something about this being rubbish which it was. It was a bloody rubbish event that could have happened to anyone then why did it happen to Henry, why was he the one who found himself in these situations and why even after his gain in confidence and bravery that year did he feel useless and anxious not to mention worried and nervous also.

Henry then heard Nick speak and couldn't help but look up at him, it was a pretty good prank even through they may be the ones who will be blamed for it. As Henry smiled and was about to comment to Nick, Rose beat him to it and mentioned something about helping to clean or leaving. Henry didn't think leaving would be a good option since if someone did leave and the professor did walked in after they left then the remaining students could just blame the person that left had responsible and they would be the one who gets into trouble if the professor believes the remaining students which why wouldn't he if the other six all have the same story and all.

Henry took a few steps away from the table and after a few more breaths, he would ensure that he was calm before speaking " I have to agree with Nick that under different circumstances it would have been a bloody brilliant prank," he smiled at his fellow slytherin before then speaking to the others " but Alina's r..right we should clean up s..so that way if the professor does enter the classroom and sees us c...cleaning. He might not be so inclined to punish us but if anyone wants to leave then go ahead, I won't b..bring up your name and I'm sure no one else will. Since getting someone in trouble for s..something that none of us did doesn't seem r..really right."

Henry felt weird speaking, he wasn't the leader or inspiring speech person so instead he took his wand out and pointed it at the cauldron that exploded behind him as he spoke "scourfgify," Henry watched as it begun to clean himself and wondered if he said the right thing or not as he this time heard another speak, a bit unfamiliar as he turned he saw that it was the girl that was the last to join them and Henry wasn't suspicious of anyone there until she spoke.

Henry found her words odd and actually the whole time she was there, she was a bit odd not to mention he picked up on some tension between her and Rose so maybe she was the one who did it and didn't want to say anything to avoid trouble. Even through her was a anxious geek, Henry pushed his worries and nerves away as he turned to face the girl thinking about the facts and evidence for a bit before speaking " I'm sure no one's going to g..go around bragging about almost getting detention or anything so I d..don't think you need to w..worry," Henry then took a breath before continuing on his theory " but I c..can't find it odd that ask that. Like your worried about getting caught or people finding out, what's so wrong w..with doing a nice thing every now and them. Unless you want t..to hide something else from p..people," for the first time he didn't care that he strutted he only cared to find out who actually did this prank and also get his own friends out of trouble which the main person of suspicion now seemed to be Nick so Henry was just trying to prove that maybe it was the girl; Autumn not Nick.

Alina watched as Henry began to pitch it and help out, and even defend that it wasn't something to be ashamed of. The more he spoke, the more she caught his stutter but she didn't mind. In fact, she thought him all the more brave for speaking up regardless of it. He had a voice and he would let it be heard, no matter what.

Why did Autumn want to hide the fact she was helping others so much? That seemed a bit suspicious to her. Was it because if someone mentioned it that it put her in the Potions Classroom and therefore, maybe the culprit?

She didn't think it was Nick because, well, she just had spent time with him and Miranda once before and he didn't seem the type to pull pranks.

If she had to guess, it was Autumn.

She paused to look around at the mess and groaned. It was a HUGE mess. Surely they couldn't get this all cleaned up in time even if they all did pitch in and help. It was almost too much for them to handle but they couldn't go asking the professor for help because that would be a big red flag and maybe they'd all be accused.

Most of them falsely. Maybe all of them falsely. She was here trying to blame Autumn in her mind when maybe this was just one weird freak accident. "If the Professor or someone DOES come in...I'll take the blame," Alina decided. That way they didn't have to keep arguing with one another.

"Yeah, if you guys want to leave I won't mention your name either." Henry was right. Even if he was tripping over his words, maybe as a result of anxiety and worry that Rose shared, Henry was right. He was trying to figure this out, like the rest of them. At least nobody was pointing fingers out loud. Then they would break up into a huge fight that Rose wanted no part of.

Rose wondered why Autumn would say something like that. I mean, it did make her look like a good person for helping them clean. Maybe she was the kind of person who relied on the way people were scared of her or something. Rose didn't like those kind of people too much, to be honest. But she wouldn't assume anything about Autumn until she had solid evidence.

Why did Alina have to be so selfless and amazing?

"No," Rose replied firmly. "If someone does come in, we'll tell them the truth- that we were in here because most of us were looking for the professor but Alina was working on her map. And then the lights went out and the cauldrons exploded and we have no idea who did it," Rose said. Her voice was still firm, though it wasn't bossy. "I'm not letting you take the blame for something you didn't do."

Really, she didn't want Alina to be the one in detention all by herself. Rose would be so guilty if she had gotten in detention all by herself because Rose hadn't spoken up. She was not letting Alina do this to herself.

Autumn was casting more cleaning spells when Alina offered to take the blame. Autumn almost laughed. Almost.

It was so stupidly selfless. Autumn was spotting a pattern.

And, Alina's second stupid selfless offer was distracting Autumn from Henry's words. The distraction was welcome.

"Like you're worried about getting caught or people finding out, what's so wrong with doing a nice thing every now and then?"

Autumn head was overwhelmingly full and alarmingly empty when she thought about the question. So, she ignored the question and concentrated on Alina instead. Before she could respond to the Hufflepuff's foolishly kind offer, Moon did.

"If someone does come in, we'll tell them the truth- that we were in here because most of us were looking for the professor but Alina was working on her map. And then the lights went out and the cauldrons exploded and we have no idea who did it. I'm not letting you take the blame for something you didn't do."

Autumn spoke up at that.

"Okay, yes, Moon is correct on something. We do not know who the culprit is, but I think we can all agree that it is not Alina. However, the flaw with your plan," she turned to Moon, "is that we all take the blame. And, again, we do not have evidence as to who the culprit is, but it certainly is not all of us. It makes no sense that all of us should suffer the consequences."

She would had planned to leave it at that, but it seemed that her mouth had other ideas.

"However, it is likely that a lot of you suspect me to be the one to blame, and I cannot blame you. So, I propose that you leave and I stay behind. Sure, the culprit remains, but the amount of people punished is lowered, and logically, that makes the most sense."

Stewart said that he thought that it would have been a good prank, and Ironwoods was suspiciously quiet, so Autumn placed her bets on those two, but it was a bit too late now; she had already spoken, and she could not take back her words.

She of all people knew that.

Since Akari was only a first year and had only taken a couple charms classes before, she wasn't advanced enough to know a spell that would help with the cleaning, so with the washcloth that was in her hand she walked over to one of the tables and began to scrub a spot that had some potion residue.

"You guarantee that we will regret it? Is that some sort of threat?" Akari mumbled lowly in a tone of annoyance while her facial expression turned sour at what the dark haired girl stated to all of them. It's not like she was planning to advertise to everyone what had just gone on and she didn't think anyone else would want to either, but the way this girl had basically demanded them not say anything was not in any way agreeable. Who was this girl to tell them what they can and can not do?

At this point Akari didn't particularly care who had actually made this horrid mess nor did she truly suspect anyone since there was no real evidence and going on a hunch would just cause more drama to this already bizarre scene.

After somewhat struggling to clean the potion, Akari was at the peak of her frustration and wasn't even trying to conceal it. In fact, she wanted them all to see it.
Why couldn't everyone just pitch in and clean so they could all get out of there? But no, instead most of them were going on about who should take the blame when they got caught (which wasn’t even certain that they would) rather than taking action in the now.
"I couldn't care less about who caused all this chaos right now since I am already here and already a part of this situation whether I like it or not... anyways, I am still going to stay and clean out of goodwill unlike some of the others" She huffed and added the last part of her sentence in a passive-aggressive way since she was still weirdly stuck on what that girl had said to all of them previously.

"What in the name of Salazar is going on in here?!" She snapped as she entered the potions classroom. The potions master, Ostrowski, was not in the room - nor was any other adult present. In fact, there were only a handful of students. Students that were unsupervised and standing in the middle of cauldrons that had just exploded everywhere.

There were splatters of gunk and ash everywhere. It was a mess. The substances of whatever they were attempting to brew had rained havoc on the surroundings. Hjørdis could have waved her wand and cleaned up most of this within a moment but it was not her job to clean up the mess that idiots made. What a day. She just wanted to rest for a few moments, read a book or take a short nap. That was all she wanted. The sound down the corridor panicked her, however. She heard the explosions. They were loud, echoing down the otherwise relatively quiet dungeons.

A glare sat on her face as she stared down at the students, observing what was going on, "Which one of you was responsible for this?" She asked, wondering if anyone even had the guts to come forward. Honestly, she doubted they would. Whoever did it likely did not have the guts to come clean. If someone else had seen what happened, they might come forward. But all of the cauldrons seemed to have exploded so it could easily have been a group effort, "More importantly, why are all of you in here without an adult?" She continued, looking at each of them and mentally making a note of who was present in the room.

What were these children thinking?! It looked very much like they had been brewing something without permission but she had no idea why. Surely they ought to have known better than to be practising magic without an adult present by now, though. This was precisely why they had teachers. Most of them looked to be familiar faces from last year, so they should have known by now.

In their defence, it did appear that they were cleaning but that made it look worse in a way. Only the guilty would clean up their evidence right? Hjørdis sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose with her fingers. These children would certainly be the cause of her death at this rate. They were a constant source of a headache and she would not be surprised if they intended on giving her a heart attack next. "Clean it up, all of you. That will be your detention." She ordered, wasting no time in dealing out a punishment. She was done. Done. All she wanted was to rest for five minutes and this happened.

She had no more patience for this. They could clean it up and leave. She did not want to see them again. Perhaps she should have given them proper detention but honestly, she was really not in a mood to babysit children. It was a Sunday. For Merlin's sake, she just wanted a five-minute break on a Sunday. Honestly, she did not get paid enough to handle this. It was like babysitting thousands of children twenty-four-seven apparently. That was what she did for a living it would seem.

Besides, she was irritated. They were ruining one of her favourite spots in the castle. Brewing potions was something that relaxed her. She did not want to have to deal with the new dirt that seemed to accompany the room. Once they finished cleaning up, she would leave.

And they were caught.

Rose blushed as dark as her hair, stepping forward to stammer out an answer before Alina or Autumn could blame it on themselves. She didn't want someone innocent to take the blame, even though, technically, that was happening already. "We were just looking for the professor when the lights went out and the cauldrons exploded. We don't know who did it."

And Professor Jensen snapped, telling them to clean up as their detention. Rose flinched. Most of them were already doing that, except for Cash and Nick, who were both just standing there. Gosh, this was pathetic. She was supposed to be a good kid, a good student, and didn't want to be involved in this. Rose wished she had done more than just snap at them, tell them to clean up, and leave. Like find out who really did do it. And now Rose was a bad kid.

Cash hadn't spoken yet. Realizing that, it fanned a spark of suspicion in the redhead, but maybe she was just in shock or something. How was Rose to know? She inwardly added her at the bottom of her list of suspects- Autumn, Nick, and maybe but probably not Cash.

Clenching her jaw, Rose silently went back to cleaning up, this time getting her wand out. It had seemed to be more efficient when she had done it before.

Ugh. This sucked.

Henry pulled his wand out and was about to mutter a cleaning charm when the situation went from bad to worse.

His eyes were frozen on the figure who just wanted in as he felt his heart rapidly pound in his chest and head throb as a thousand possibilities and outcomes flashed through his mind at the very sight of the blonde haired head of house.... correction head of slytherin house; Hjørdis Jensen....

The twelve year old was dreading this and hoped it wouldn't have happened, that if they all pitched in and cleaned up quickly before exiting quietly maybe they could have left. Maybe they could have avoided trouble for something that none of for what they were aware of didn't do. Of course not all of them were cleaning only a handful of them since Cash hasn't said anything in a while and Nick well he wasn't helping but he also didn't say anything suspicious so Henry felt in his gut that the fellow slytherin didn't do it.

However that wasn't the consider at the moment. Their new problem was hovering over them asking who was responsible for it, Henry looked around and wondered if anyone would take the blame or even blame someone else?

Henry felt like he should say something but every time he opened his opened no words would come out so he kept his mouth closed and another question escaped from the professor that would ensure he would stay quiet. Henry leaned his hands on the table behind him as he attempted to breath, to calm himself, to keep a handle on his emotions and his anxiety hidden.

As he heard Rose explain what happen a sudden urge in him woke up and it almost felt like he wanted to say something, to defend themselves, to redeem himself but his anxiety kept him from this as he felt his chest tightened and breathing quicken.

Merlin's bread not now! Not here! Control yourself... you have to... just take breaths, in and out. in and out. in and out. in and out. Calm yourself Henry! You can't have a panic attack now and especially not here! Especially not in front of others or a professor! What would they think.... what would they think.. laugh? Spread rumours? Who knows and who cares... the only important thing is to control yourself and not have a attack! Control your breathing! But I can't.... I can't, I never could stop one.... I'm doomed! I'm bloody doomed!

Henry felt his grip tightened on the table as words floated from the others around him. Echoes they sounded like, figured moving around as shadows as his chest tightened and breathing quicken. Gripping the table edge tighter as his eyes flicker from face to face, place to place. Trying to control himself, trying to get a grip on himself, he couldn't let his anxiety take over, not now at least.

Gripping the table edge he took slow breaths as he tried and manged, he tried to push out his thoughts and hide his emotions. He wouldn't let his anxiety do this to him as he continued his breaths his grip lessen on the edge as his chest wasn't as tight he took a deep breath before closing his eyes for a minute.

Henry opened his eyes and knew he had to do something, they already got detention yes but he wasn't going down with that. He wasn't about to be blamed for destroying the classroom of his favorite professor and class apparently, he had to do something but what?

Henry now as his emotions and anxiety was hidden, panic attack gone looked from face to face trying to find the words, trying to find something to say.

Alina, Rose, and Akari were all cleaning and wasn't on Henry's suspect list anyway. Nick wasn't cleaning and even with his comment on the explosion also wasn't on his suspect list, he just didn't think the boy could have pulled this off. Henry then let his eyes flicker from Cash to Autumn both were high on his list, Autumn already made it clean to not mention this which stuck Henry as odd. However Cash was quiet but she could also have been nervous about it?

So that led him to one name, one suspect; Autumn. He wasn't absolutely sure it was her but he was pretty sure and even through about letting the head of house know this.

However he wasn't about to say anything so instead he found himself speaking " we were all this at the wrong place at the wrong time professor. We all came here with a different reason but we all needed to say the potions professor and we never saw anything weird because like Rose said the lights went off suddenly. None of us knows who did it and I don't think anyone is going to blame someone else," Henry paused letting his eyes fall to each person and ending with Autumn before continuing, " the cauldrons were set up before entered and someone could have touched them and left before anyone of us entered the room so we just happened to find ourselves at the wrong place at the wrong time professor," Henry then did something that surprised him as he looked around at everyone and figured of anyone got in trouble than he would be the most likely to not need to worry about his family or anything so his next words even surprised him.

" But if your looking for someone to punished even through it was none of us then I'll take the blame. It doesn't make sense for all of us to share the blame or punishment so I'll take it," it's not like my father would care anyway if I get in trouble, adding that last part in his head as he leaned his hands on the table and let his hair blow in his eyes. A disguise from the world. From his problems.

People started grabbed washing rags and Cash should have done the same, right? Up until this point everybody that in the room tossing left and right whose to blame. One girl, Autumn practically said do not breathe this to anyone else. As if the young socialite will tell anyone. The longer the green eyes stay quite, the longer someone might suspicious of them.

When other still bickering among themselves, Cash follow what the other done. Grabbed one of the washed rags and about to start cleaning. The boomed of their Head of House scared the hell out of the purple hair. The rag that had been on their hand, fall to the ground. Cash looked at the silver haired of their Head of the House in somewhat mid horror.

When Professor Jensen addressed to the attendee of the room which one of them that responsible for the mess, the purple hair almost speak up. Almost want to stepped up. But with the blaming game still on, they just continue what they intended to do. And then Professor Jensen told the room to cleaned up the mess.

Cash blinked at that. They thought they and the other six will get a lot of trouble for ruining the cauldrons but Cash peered at Professor Jensen and there a guilt feel like creeping on them. Then Henry explained to Professor Jensen the situation they were all in. What Henry said there was the half truth in it.

Sure the cauldrons already been set up and sure inside the cauldrons that already have something brewing but when Henry said he will take the blame, Cash stopped what they did. "Hold up! No dejaría que asumieras la culpa por todos nosotros (I would not let you take the blame for us all). I mean we all are in this mess together. Since you volunteered yourself and it much quicker to clean the room with some pair of hands,"Cash looked at the other one by one hoping some of them had some common sense to stay in the room and clean the mess up.

"And yes it did not make sense for all of us to share the blame or punishment but look at this mess,"Cash gestured their hand to the mess that all of them in. "Also I would not let you take the blame for all of us"Cash translated what they stated earlier to the class. "It is a whole lot did not make sense if you doing it yourself, so I stay with you"They continued.

The green eyes clapped one of Henry's shoulder with firm clap. While looking at the others if they all dare to say otherwise. Though Cash will not admit they are the culprit behind this, taking a responsible like this make the guilt lessen.

Henry.

Oh, god, Henry! Henry was a nerd and a perfectionist, even more than Rose was. If Rose was anxious about this conundrum, Henry would be breaking down. And he was. Henry's breathing had quickened, and his knuckles were turning white from gripping the table. He wouldn't want to be noticed too much, obviously, but Rose couldn't just stand there and watch him struggle without breath.

So she discreetly moved over to his side. She rubbed his arm, ever-so-gently with one hand. And, softer than anyone but Henry could hear, she whispered, "It's gonna be okay." She hadn't seemed to draw any attention to herself or Henry with her quiet and gentle comforting.

Cash insisted that she was not going to let Henry take the blame, and Rose nodded. "Cash is right, we all know you didn't do it, and we're not letting you take all the blame, either. I'm staying with you, too."

Rose picked her wand back up, using the scourgify spell some more on the tables. This was ridiculous, but she was not leaving Henry here and she was not leaving Alina here. It was only the first month of school and she had gotten her very first detention. Why did she have a feeling that it wasn't going to be her last?
