A meeting between a Raven and whatever she is CL

"Germany, huh? That's pretty cool." Reed said, taking a deep breath of crisp cold air. He could still hear the other kids yelling, and having fun a little ways out in the grounds, and kind of wished he could get the guts to try. He then noticed movement to his side, and glanced over to see the girl handing him her hogwarts robe.

Now that he thought about it, Krez was just wearing a normal-ish outfit, and wasn't wearing the school robes, but what exactly did she want him to do with it? He reluctantly took it, and nodded. "Uhm...thank you?" He said.

The Ravenclaw put the robe on his lap, still genuinely confused as to why the girl gave it to him, and looked out towards the frozen over great lake. At this point his line of sight was all over the place, and he didn't really care. "Ya know, for acting so cool, and tough you're one of the only people to play with me on the spot, ya know?" He said, as a gust of cold winter wind blew some hair into his face.

The boy moved the hair away from his face, giving a clearer view of his bandages underneath before looking to Krez. "Ya wanna meet here again some time to hang out some more?"

Happy he accepted it but confused he didn't use it as intended, she squinted at him putting it in his lap rather than using it the way she wanted for him. There was a second where she considered just taking it back and putting it where she wanted to put it, but she managed to not impulsively do that in case she accidentally roughed him up trying to help. Even though he was being a real trooper and powering through the pain, she was slowly spotting points on his person that she could only assume were sore from whatever the heck happened to him.

He grabbed her full attention when he mentioned her behaving cool and tough and junk, but also being one of few people to come and play. She was flattered by the description she guessed, but the entire thing was giving her kind of mixed feelings. It really sucked to know no one else would build a snowman with him. There was no reason for anyone to force themselves to play with him but...why was she so worried about this? Yeah, she felt empathy for him but-?
Weird.

Krez gave a thumbs up and nodded, willing to give him a second playdate, so maybe they could build something completely next time. With that thought, she turned back to the two snowballs left lying nearby and stood, scuttling over to them to finish what they had started. Krez hoisted her smaller ball up onto the one she helped him prepare, steadying it as much as she was able given her size and its size. When she got it where she wanted it she backed up a couple steps to see how it looked before turning to Reed to see what he thought about it.

The first thing that came to mind for the gryffindor's robe was to use it like a pillow, but why would she want that? It would make a mess of it from the tree's bark falling apart, and the snow clinging to it. And if he was wrong about the idea, then he'd be screwing up someone else's robes. Everything about it just confused the boy so he decided to just roll with it.

When Krez put the snow balls up on one another, Reed was a bit surprised that she did it herself, due to the weight it must have been for a kid like they were. Reed smiled, and said "It looks awesome! I'll find some sticks in the snow to use." he then put the girl's robe gently on a low hanging branch, before going on all fours, brushing aside snow from around the tree looking for sticks to use.

After a little searching, he found two sticks that were thick enough to use, despite one being way longer than the other. He walked to the snowman, and stuck one stick on each end of the snowman's base/lower body. The Ravenclaw finished the snowy creation by throwing his scarf around it's neck, and using his gloved thumb to give it two indents for eyes. With a small laugh he turned to Krez and gave his own thumbs up.

It wasn't the carrot-nosed, coal-eyed, top hat sporting kind of snowman seen in movies and such, but considering they didn't have a lot of those materials on hand it was the best they were gonna get. It was just a little lacking, that was all! But it was just as good. Krez nodded her approval at his finishing touches and gave him a very light pat on the arm. Had she not been so short, she would have added her own, but it probably would have ended up looking obnoxious with what she wanted to put in if she was honest.

But wait, there was still one thing she could add that wasn't too silly! She scuttled over to the tree again suddenly, snatching her robe from the branch it rested on rather roughly before unfolding it. She put the sleeves over the branches to the best of her ability. They didn't sit perfectly, but the robe rested on the snowboy well enough to get the point across. Together they had created a little student of snow, Hogwarts first perhaps! Not that it could attend classes or anything...
She backed up to give it another look, enjoying this scavenger-style decorating they had done maybe a little too much. She snorted, putting her hands on her hips. For something so cold, it sure was a hot mess.
