Haylie got out of the large white van. She would walk around the massive van, opening the back, getting her belongings out of the trunk. Her three older cousins had already gone ahead of her, and she saw them walking into Kings Cross Station. She quickly hurried herself to catch up, and nearly tripped on her own converse. Once she caught up with her cousins, they kept walking. No words were said between them. An awkward silence falling over the four of them. Her cousins were talking, but she decided to ignore them, and simply follow them. The older kids stopped at the middle of platform nine and ten, causing her to run into the back of her older cousin. "S-Sorry!" She quickly said, embarrassed. Her cousins looked at her, and the oldest smiled. "Lawren, why don't you tell Haylie how to get onto the platform?" Said Brendon, the oldest. Lawren smiled warmly. "Okay, Haylie, you have to walk between the barrier between platforms nine and ten." She said, as the three of them went into the barrier, Haylie following shortly after.
Once she reached the other side, she saw that beautiful scarlet train. The most beautiful train she had ever seen (Granted, she had never seen a train in person.) She would stare in awe, almost forgetting that she needed to get onto the train soon. She would look around, trying to find her cousins, but being unable to find them.
Haylie felt panicked, scared. She backed herself up into the cream bricked wall, sliding down it. Her baby blue eyes would swell with tears, scared and alone. She didn't know where to go, what to do. She had dreamed of this since she had gotten her Hogwarts letter.
Her breathing started to shake, starting to have a panic attack. Thoughts filled her head. 'What if I miss the train?' 'Where do I go?' 'Help??'
The panic settled in, as she brought her knees to her chest, the tears starting to fall, and trying to hide her pathetic little face.

@Haylie Grey
Coming into her third year at Hogwarts, Illowy was nearly a pro at getting herself to the train station and aboard the Hogwarts Express with very minimal difficulty. Granted, she'd hopped that she'd have seen her cousin on the platform, but alas he was no where to be seen. Just as well, she'd surely see him eventually.
Having already delivered her trolley of trunks and belonging to be loaded on the train, the third year carried her travel bag and beloved violin case to then board the train, a mass of fluff trailed on her heel. This was Killian, her cat. A creature much more observant than his mistress in many ways when she spied the crying child and called his mistress's attention with a sharp mewl.
The older girl paused and looked back over her shoulder, following the animal's gaze to the child. By the looks of her, Illowy could only assume she was some lost first year. First years were one of the few students that Illowy held a soft place for. She recalled how nerve wracking her first year had been and she couldn't help but sympathize as she readjusted her bag on her shoulder and started towards the girl.
"Hey," she spoke, trying to make her usually cold tone, a bit more gentle. The snake had a reputation of coming off rather coldly; she had pale, almost ghostly, blue eye, ivory skin that was only enhanced by her dark hair. What also didn't do her any favors was the marble ichor scars that crept up her neck and long her cheek and on her hands, though she did her best to hide those as much as she could.
Setting her things on the cement floor, Illowy crouched down a bit, "Ye a First Year?" she asked softly in her thick Irish accent, reaching into her bag to produce a cloth, embroidered handkerchief to hand to the girl, "Ye lost?" she broke her gaze away too look around a moment to try to spy anyone who might've been looking for the girl, but to no avail, "You'll be just fine, wee lass. C'mon. Let's get yer trolley loaded and get on board." she offered before standing back up and gathering her things before she held her hand out to the younger girl, "I'm Illowy Magnard. Third Year Slytherin."
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.
