Interacting with: @Willow Anderson
The cracked voice was like a knife to the heart, piercing it within an instant. She frowned as her eyes fell onto Willow. Everything about the student's body language and expression screamed out her feelings. Whatever had happened was... too much. It was far too much. Quidditch was not something the head of Slytherin was a fan of in the first place but it was clear that there was much more happening here.

She gave Aaron's shoulder - that she was holding - a quick squeeze before stepping towards Willow. "I know... Come here," Within a moment, Hjørdis wrapped her arms around the first year if she let her, "It will be alright..." She said softly. Everything about this action was out of character for her. She normally was not one to comfort in the first place and hugs were usually out of the question entirely. But despite both of those, even the words she said were unfamiliar to her. She normally never said something like this.

Hjørdis disliked making claims that she did not believe in. She hated telling people it would be alright if she did not believe it. But this was different. This time, she meant it. She had no idea if Quidditch would get better, of course. She had no idea if it would ever be 'fun' again for the young Miss Anderson - or for any of them. However, she truly believed that it would be alright. One way or another, people were remarkable after all. They had the ability to pick themselves up, brush themselves off and carry on. Sometimes it was hard, sometimes they needed a hand, sometimes it took a while. But they were capable of getting through so much more than they usually realised. And these children were much more capable than most people she had met or known. They really were an incredible bunch.

There was not really much less she could say right now but if Willow let her, Hjørdis would hug her for a while in an attempt to comfort her.
