☾ Paper Cuts (not really) ☾
A simple breathe through the Hogwarts owlery in the Scottish mountains was enough to make Jo shiver. Her winter coat would have been great if she were to have any warmer of clothing. But she was just going to be in and out today. In the west tower to send a letter, A letter to her father to be very specific.
The feeling of the thing parchment in Jo's numb hands felt extremely odd to the touch as if a cloth was covering your sock. You feel its there but it doesn't affect you much if you do not pay attention.
For a sporadic occurrence, Jo had her hair plaited as if not to make her lose a moment of her time brushing her hair out of her face (she couldn't somewhat hide her bangs which might have caused her some embarrassment later).
As she went up the floor after floor and saw greys and browns and blacks and at times white's she heated for the 5th floor. She went to give an owl the poorly package, wrapping the string gently around the owl's leg. As it took off she looked after it, it wasn't even winter yet, But Jo wondered how would she feel having to go outside like this when its snowing and freezing.
As Jo turned around and went down the flight of stairs her path was blocked by someone who also wanted to send a letter to their relative. She went back up the nearest flight of stairs to let the person pass.
"I'm sorry about that" Jo said, she didn't want to keep anyone out in the cold because it seemed like it was not the nicest experience for someone to have either.
