Spell- Blindfolding Spell
Incantation- Obscuro (Ob-SKOO-roh)
Wand Movement- Pointing wand at the target
485 wordsArissa let out a sigh as she glanced at her surroundings, inwardly wondering what was it that possessed her to stand in this empty room. A part of she can't believe that she did this, that she actually sneaked out to her DADA classroom to train rather than mingling with her fellow Slytherins at her Common Room, and that's definitely far from the Arissa Wright that would always spend her time sitting by the fireplace every night. However, she knew that she must do it, even if she have to sacrifice her penchant for gossips. She have to do this.
'Some people already looked down on you because of your appearance, don't make it a reality.' She chanted in her head.
Arissa took a deep breath, and took out a small notebook from her pocket, the one that she often use during her personal revision. She stared at the the tenth page of her notebook, and muttered the words softly.
"Blindfolding Spell. The incantation of this spell is Obscuro, and the wand movement was very easy, one just need to point their wand on the target."
Alright then. Arissa eyed the boy sitting across her. He was the son of her mother's friend, so it's rather easy for her to ask for some sort of favor. He was not afraid, to say the least. In fact, he seemed so relaxed, it's as if he wouldn't be some sort of a guinea pig for her training.
"Done, milady?"He asked with that frivolous tone of his.
He's very bold, Arissa has to admit. She merely told him to wait for a few more seconds before finally closing her book, and took out her wand. As he saw her getting ready, the boy sat up and stepped closer to her. An amused glint was evident in his eyes, as he bowed to her rather mockingly.
Her original plan was actually for her to go alone, but she was told that it's better for her to have a target. Arissa was quite wary with others, but her encounter with that boy in the courtyard prompted her to ask him straightaway. At first, he was just staring at her for a while before letting out a full blown laughter, causing some other students to turn their heads towards them.
She tried the incantation first, without the wand. "Ob-SKOO-roh," she chanted softly. "Obscuro. Obscuro. Obscuro!"
After she was fully confident with her pronunciation, Arissa grabbed her wand firmly in her right hand, before pointing it at the boy before her.
Biting her lips, she stared at the boy's eyes before shouting "Obscuro!"
In mere seconds, the boy's eyes were wrapped with a black fabric. Arissa blinked, and a smirk quickly made its way to her face.
"I did it." She said softly, her eyes widen.
"Elegant and unruffled, impassioned yet unmoved...That's what I am, and that's what I must be."

Spell- Tongue-Tying Spell
Incantation- Mimblewimble (MIM-bull-wim-bull)
Wand Movement- Inverted loop then normal loop
633 wordsThe second day of her training. Once more, Arissa has asked for the son of her mother's friend to help her. She originally felt like he wouldn't accept as this was basically a curse, but astoundingly he gave her an exaggerated wink and a simple "Sure. It's been a while since I've been cursed anyway. "
Well, that sealed his fate. Strolling through the hallway, her eyes glanced warily at her surroundings, making sure that no one was around. It's enough that she allied herself with one person, she can't risk someone else knowing. As she entered the classroom, her grey eyes met a pair of black ones, and a greeting of "Welcome to my humble abode milady."
She took out two chocolates frog and tossed it to him, which he caught rather easily. "Give me a few minutes to read my notes and then we can start."
With that, she sat on the nearest table, her eyes skimmed through her notes, making sure that she remembers every bit of it. This kind of thing, was a bit dangerous than he previous spell as it was technically a curse.
Tongue Tying Curse. Used to tie your opponent's tongue in a knot, which prevents them from casting any verbal spell. Very useful during duel (additional note: and for silencing noisy and annoying people) . The incantation is Mimblewimble (MIM-bull-wim-bull).
"Sounds a bit unsafe. Why did you accept it anyways?" She mumbled, but didn't seem to care whether or not the boy across from her heard the words.
"Mim-ble-wim-ble. Mim-ble-wim-ble. Mim-ble-wim-ble." She took a deep breath and chant it once more, this time confidence etched in her tone.
"Mimblewimble!"
It was clear, and without any fault. Well, now the first phase was completed.
"Sounds good enough milady. I suddenly felt myself a bit uneasy from here!" He hollered from across the room.
"Don't worry. I'm sure your precious voice wouldn't take much damage." She said dismissively.
She may or may not sympathise with him when she first stepped into the room, but right now, the Slytherin was too engrossed in her work that she forgot her initial feelings.
Now for the wand movement. Technically, it was merely two loops, from what she can see, an inverted loop at first then normal loop. Somehow, the picture was akin to a tongue being locked by something.
Arissa brandished her wand and wave it in an inverted loop and then normal loop. She tries it a few more times, specifically 16 more times before facing the boy. At least, she did owe it to him for this favor, so she need to make sure that it was totally perfect.
"I'm ready," she declared. Her wand was firmly gripped in her right hand, as she watched the boy walked closer to her. However, unlike before, the boy seem a bit, dare she say, nervous. His eyes gave his emotion away, despite the fact that his mouth was smiling.
Arissa took a deep breath to calm herself. This spell, was useful, so she can't take it lightly. And if course she knew that chocolate frogs was too cheap for a price as a Guinea pig, so at least, she'll make it less painful. By not doing much mistake.
Her grey eyes met his, brandishing her wand in the shape of an inverted loop, and then normal loop, as she shouted, "Mimblewimble!"
For a second, she felt extremely agitated, wondering whether or not she succeed in her attempt or not. But just then, the boy gave her a peace sign, as he mumbled nonsense.
A smile made its way in her face, as she stared at her companion who still mumbling nonsense in front of her.
"Elegant and unruffled, impassioned yet unmoved...That's what I am, and that's what I must be."

Spell- Disarming Charm
Incantation- Expelliarmus (ex-PEL-lee-ar-muss)
Wand Movement- Wave wand into simple swirl
697 words"Expelliarmus!"
Her wand flew off from her hand before she could cast a "Tarantallegra" to her opponent. It didn't even take a minute for their duel to finished.
She lost.
The boy across from her merely shot her a grin. "As I say, this spell, Expelliarmus, is a Disarming Charm. Basically, it was used to make your opponent's wand fell off from their hands in a duel."
"But it also can be used for other objects other than wand." She added, picking up her wand from the ground, which impressively, lay a few feet from where she was standing.
The boy nodded. "Yes, that is correct. Very useful to add in your arsenal. Your lost just a moments ago was caused by the fact that you did not have enough spells for simple duel, other that Incendio and Tarantallegra."
He shot her a pointed look.
Arissa felt a bit overwhelmed by his lecture. Usually he would show her his frivolous attitude, but right now, he seemed serious. He allowed himself to become her guinea pig for her first two spells, but this time, he took it upon himself to personally teach her.
To see the serious look on his face was a bit overwhelming, though her exterior merely show her usual composed expression.
"This question has been bothering me for a while now, so do you mind explaining it?" Before he could answer, she continued. "Why didn't you allow me to train it just like those two previous spells?"
Hearing that, he let out a boisterous laugh, while patting her head lightly, causing her to frown.
"The other two, did not worry me that much. This spell however, I need you to know the full extent of its effect before you can even attempt to cast it. That's the reason why we're having a mock battle just now."
"Expelliarmus is a very useful spell, and it's uses is not limited to merely disarm an opponent." He gave her a conspiratorial smile, as he added, "This spell can also intercept or rebound other offensive Spells, such as dark charm."
When he saw Arissa's eyes widened in shock, his lips quirked up to form a smirk. "That's right, shocking isn't it? And here you thought it as a simple charm to disarm objects from your opponents, right?"
Arissa paused, before giving him a hesitant nod. She took out her notes from her pocket and wrote it down. This spell, was actually quite, no, very useful. She can't risk failing this spell today.
She raised her head and opened her mouth. "So, did this spell work on only one opponent? Or can it be used to target multiple targets?"
His brows furrowed for a while as he stared blankly at the table. "I think my Professor said it can target multiple opponents if the caster was close to them. If multiple Disarming charm were casted on one target, it could send the target flying or even knocked them unconscious." An amused glint was evident on his eyes as he remarked," Pretty wicked, isn't it? "
" Yes. Wicked and useful. " She replied and started to brandished her wand the same way the boy did before, a simple swirl. And she tried it almost twenty times before she was satisfied.
It's a bit unnerving when someone is watching you with rapt attention. And adding the fact that they were standing just a two feel from each other. It caused her to be conscious to not make any kind of mistakes.
Her first try has failed, as the spell rebound on her and caused her to fly away.
It hurts so much. Damn.
It took her multiple attempts before she succeed. And a few bruises.
Her eyes locked into the boy's black eyes as she waved her wand to form a swirl and she yelled, "Expelliarmus!"
Unlike before, the boy's wand actually flew over from his hand, and he shot her an exaggerated wink as he said "Congratulations."
She merely shot him a smirk in return.
"Elegant and unruffled, impassioned yet unmoved...That's what I am, and that's what I must be."

Not Just A Pretty Face
Spell- Bluebell Flames
Incantation- Caeruleus Inflamarae
Wand Movement- Wave wand
Arissa's grey eyes were glancing at her surroundings, trying to find a secluded place to practice her spell. This time, unlike before, her practice location was not in the classroom. No, it was near the Great Lake as she need to make sure that her attempt wouldn't cause any undesirable consequences such as burning things or people.
Luckily for her, other than a few students who jogged near the location in the morning, the Great Lake was practically empty, void of any other nuisance. She strode towards the area which she knew were a bit hidden from others and sat down. She took out her notebook and began to read it.
Bluebell Flames, or perhaps known as Cold Fire, was a charm that was used to create magical blue flames. The Incantation for this spell is Caeruleus Inflamarae. The Flames created by this spell can be touched, but it can singe materials such as plants and clothes.
"Well, it's good that I actually choose this place as a practice spot, isn't it?" She murmured as she tucked a strand of her blonde tresses behind her ears.
"The wand movement for this spell is not hard, as it merely need the caster to wave their wand. Hmmm, fair enough."
Unlike the previous Spells that she learnt, this spell was particularly easy, because of the simple wand movement and the lack of complications, that she found out painfully when learning the Disarming Charm. She definitely didn't want to fall victim of that again.
Arissa skimmed her notes for a few minutes before she was confident enough to test her first attempt. Without holding her wand, she muttered the incantation first.
"Cae-ru-leus In-fla-ma-rae."
"Cae-ru-leus In-fla-ma-rae."
"Caelu, no, Cae-ru-leus Inflamarae. "
A bit tongue twisting, but after a few more tries, Arissa managed to chant the spell clearly. Well, she need to slow down a bit, but at least her pronunciation was clear as the day. A wrong incantation could cause a bit of backfire she heard. For someone like Arissa, she would rather speak slow than mumbling nonsense and risk herself.
Her grey eyes found themselves wandering towards the surroundings, looking for any signs of humans. When she found none, Arissa stood up from her seat and walked closer to the Lake. She knew that the fire wouldn't hurt her at least, but she rather be prepared with a huge supply of water in case something happened.
For her, conjuring flames needed precaution, whatever it is. No exception.
She tore a piece of paper from her book and placed it on the nearby stone. Then, she waved her wand and said, "Caeruleus Inflamarae! "
Just then, a jet of blue flames came out from the tip of her wand as she saw it burned the paper into ashes.
"Wow, I did it, " she whispered, amazement was evident in her voice.
As she need more reassurance, she proceed to cast it four more times before she was confident that the first one was not a fluke. Other than the loss of five papers from her book, it was a total success.

Both of your RP spells for Prodigal DADA Learner have been approved. I really enjoyed that you provided most of the relevant information through dialogue between the characters. The only notable addendum: the wand movement of the Obscuro is a lying figure-eight movement (which you couldn't have known).
