Quinn couldn't believe it to be honest It had been months since that certain incident. An incident in which his greatest shame was revealed to those around him. To his surprise however instead of being criticized, ostracized, or hated for it he was instead helped. Of course Harlin was still in his head, he would be for the rest of Quinn's life at least that's what his therapist told him for the moment. Since that day Harlin hadn't been nearly as bad and thanks to his therapist and his mandated visits to the hospital wing for reasons he keeps private. His mental state has thankfully been a lot more balanced.

Why then was he still sneaking off to the abandoned toilets? Why couldn't he perform this act in front of strangers? The answer was very simple...embarrassment. He was embarrassed and still heavily influenced by the trauma he suffered as a young child and even while attending Hogwarts in his first two years there. Quinn still had a negative view of himself, but makeup although lightly used in a certain since made him feel more normal and happy in his own somewhat deformed skin. He didn't feel ugly when he looked in the mirror it was almost like it was his armor almost.

A black fairly nondescript bag sat on the counter next to his massive freckled hands. They were so large it looked as though Quinn could easily grab a melon with little struggle using only one of those massive hands. It was clear by size alone that Quinn wasn't normal, his skin was a bit paler then it should have been, his limps were thick as logs and not exactly proportioned correctly. Additionally while his face looked normal enough it also looked a bit boorish almost like a neanderthal's skull. Some of it was elongated and he had very sharp and angled features making him look much older then he truthfully was.

With thick, meaty fingers he opened the bag with a deceptive dexterity and pulled out various makeup and hygiene products. It was fairly early in the morning and not many people from what he could tell traveled to this bathroom this early. At least that was his hope, as he started to put on the foundation first mumbling drowsily to himself. He was so focused on his task that he didn't notice if anyone had come in. Furthermore he was annoyed because he had no idea how in the heck he was going to deal with his abhorrently messy mass of brownish-orange curls.

@Quinn Healy

Time practically flew by for the little Ravenclaw. She felt like she was on auto-pilot most of the time. She almost forgot that the Autumn Ball is popping up sometime soon. It wasn't too stressful for the little girl, she can just repurpose the dress she had on the last dance. The minute she thought of the dance, however, Breana's face twinged from the painful memories flashing back through her mind. It may have been months for her but it felt like ages ago. She was too naive for her own good, not knowing the trouble the pesky mosps were to wreak upon the student body. That was, unfortunately, merely the tip of her spiral into unpleasant events. Though her summer was sweet at first, it followed a bitter pill of her home life blossoming into a cataclysm of mental pain for the 11-year-old.

As she was walking through the corridors, the memories of the dance flooded back. Invading her once calm and neutral psyche, The second year stopped dead on her tracks, crouching down as she tried so desperately to calm herself down. "Come on, Bre... Just breathe... Breathe..." She pleaded to herself. Unfortunately, the awful memories kept repeating, the rowdy chatters from fellow students aren't exactly helping either. She needed an escape. Breana shot her head up to find a place of peace. Her eyes caught the sight of the abandoned toilets. She never went there, fearing that there might be hidden dangers in there. But it's better than nothing. She made a beeline to the door before anyone could figure out something was wrong with her.

Thankfully for Breana, she went into the bathroom without any complications. With a big and hefty sigh, the child can finally take that breather. What she didn't realize was the giant lad mumbling about and fiddling with... makeup, perhaps? Wait, isn't this Quinn, that Hufflepuff Captain? She talked to him before in an errand, but she doesn't know much else about him. "O-oh, uh..." Breana stammered. "Sorry to barge in... I mean, well, it ain't a private toilet, but still..." She coughed awkwardly. "Erm... Quinn, right? I'm Breana... The, uh, girl with the frog on her head in that makeup errand."

Quinn jumped and yelped letting out a quick high-pitched squeal. His cheeks started to turn a bright pink out of embarrassment. "O-O-Oh uh..." He turned in her direction looking at Bre with wide saucer sized eyes. He couldn't believe that he had gotten caught. Sure the prefects knew what he did now, but he forced himself to reveal that to them. It was causing him more stress then he wanted and honestly they didn't make fun of him but supported him. So he felt condifent enough to reveal that to him, but someone walked in on him doing this...Damn it all he should have just waited or something.

Internally cursing his luck, Quinn continued to stare stock still at Breana before attempting more conversation yet again. "Y-Y-Yes it is...I-I mean that's me." He pursed his lips wondering what she would think. Would she be like the pure bloods and curse him or tease him. Would she think him strange and even weirder? Would she take this opportunity to use this as blackmail material against them? He was a prefect so he couldn't exactly har-wait what the hell was he thinking!?

Unfortunately Quinn's thoughts were beiing broadcasted through his face in a variety of expressions ranging from confliction to embarrassment to annoyance to to despair to reservation and back to embarrassment. It was a strange sight to behold.
