She was relaxed, which surprised her. Being so far from her dad and Raelynn should've made her somewhat nervous but,
"I guess not,"
The other students were boarding the train now and entering their cabins. They were laughing, smiling, reuniting with their old friends from the previous year or years. She looked jealously through the small window of the door at the other kids, they were happy, not nervous,
"Then there is absolutely no reason to be nervous, right?"
Being an introvert isn't going to make situations much better. She sighed and relaxed against the cushions behind her. Only to start overthinking again, about getting diagnosed a year ago with Insomnia and Impostor Syndrome. Then thinking about the sorting ceremony mentioned in the letter, and more thoughts occupied her busy brain. Only to make her nervous. She really didn't need that now.
The last minute students were rushing in now,
"Of course, it isn't like anyone's going to sit with someone new,"
That was when she got a little more nervous, what if nobody was there to tell her what to do when they finally would arrive at Hogwarts?
She sat up. The tables were bruised, with scratches in them, it looked grotesque,
"Grandfather would definitely not approve of this Lily, what are you doing to yourself? Putting yourself in more family drama then you already have shoved yourself into?"
She sighed. If this was how "school" was going to be, she was so not ready. She hoped to meet more organized, patient, hardworking students but, students are students. Sloppy, annoying, careless, plainly children in a more grown up body. It was going to be a crazy year, she knew it.
She was thinking again, trying to distract herself. The cabin door slid open. She stared at a figure forming between the doorway. Was someone going to sit with her? She hoped there wouldn't be any taunting. But of course, that was Lily. Back to the subject: Was a person going to sit with her? That would be nice, of course...

Jane slowly gets on the train. A tear runs down her cheek. She is sad. Sad to see her family in the station. Sad to have to leave them. She stretches out her arm but the doors close. She must now continue without them. Continue without their help or support. It will be difficult, but over time, she will get used to it. That is what she hopes.
With her heart beating, she walked along the train paths leading to Hogwarts. She advanced, hoping to find an empty or sparsely occupied wagon. Her expectations gradually fade when she sees all the wagons filled with older students happy to meet and tell each other about their holidays. She dries her tears with a lapel of her hand, thinking that a girl who cries must not be very welcoming. She sees a compartment full of two students and touches the handle. Unfortunately, her shyness takes over when she sees them looking at her. So she goes back in search of a wagon, with a tight heart.
Here’s my answer, I hope you like itAs she continues to walk, she sees an empty wagon. Or almost. A pretty brunette who must be about her age is sitting on a bench. The hesitant hand pulls the handle so that the doors open. Once this is done, she enters smiling timidly at the young witch. In a trembling voice, she asked him:
-Excuse me, may I sit with you? All the wagons are full. If you’re expecting someone, no problem, I can look elsewhere.
She bites her lip, her heart beating way too fast while the girl answers her...

"-Excuse me, may I sit with you? All the wagons are full. If you’re expecting someone, no problem, I can look elsewhere."
Oh, the joy.
She looked at the girl, she looked so much like Raelynn. JUST STOP THINKING ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AREUM! her head shouted at her, Jeez she responded. She was acting so childish, she just shouldn't think. That is a much better idea. She sighed,
"Sure,"
Well, it wasn't like she wanted to be alone, but she also didn't really want company which just seemed strange. Just if Raelynn was there, ugh. Feelings are painful, they make you do strange things, Like me right now. Sighing as if. Anyways, didn't I WANT company? She moved over to let her sit down. She smiled, unconvincingly. My instincts are horrible. her instincts constantly told her not to trust people due to a childhood experience. As the girl sat down, she moved over, putting her hands onto her lap and glancing the other girl's way to let her know, Everything's fine, I'm just giving you more space. though she really didn't mean it.
Thoughts started rushing through her head again. If her brain could just shut down for 10 minutes? She tugged at some of her hair. Oh, the joy. she was of course, sarcastic. As the train started moving, she wondered, I sure hope I get in Slytherin. There are people there that seem reasonable, only to try and shut her brain off again. She was overreacting to unimportant situations. Her main priority was to get to Hogwarts knowing EXACTLY what would happen.

She said yes, Jane thinks. She smiles timidly and sits in front of her classmate. We should certainly have a conversation. Maybe ask her first name. Jane doesn’t know. She’d like someone to tell her what to do. She’s never been very sociable. She would like to say something, but her shyness prevents her. Her mother always told her, one day, it would annoy her. With her heart racing, Jane put her backpack on her knees. She opened it and takes a book. She placed her bag delicately next to her and thought about what she could say while pretending to read.
I don’t even know her name, sighed Jane. She had the idea to ask her. That was certainly the first thing you wanted to know when you met someone. And at least she would know if her comrade wants to meet him. All you have to do is observe how she answers him.
Sorry for the waitThe voice trembling slightly, she asked:
And what’s your name?
Simple, short. At least she had found something to say. It might seem simple, but for Jane, it wasn’t. But she’s so shy, and now she’s talking to someone.Maybe she should have given him his name before she asked him his. Although, at least, if his comrade is at least happy to have company, she will answer him by asking him the same question.

[/font]Lily smiles, she could tell that the other girl was really timid and shy. Though she wasn't sure what to say. Then the girl took a book out of her backpack and started to read rude Lily thought. Maybe the other girl was just too shy and scared to ask that she couldn't find any words to say. Leaning back in the couch again, her mind flew off with thoughts. That girl, whatever her name was, would probably get sorted into Hufflepuff, she was shy, but she wasn't that kind. Or was she? Then her mind wandered off to a more important subject to her, What if I don't get in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor? Will dad be mad? Will my cousins not talk to me? That would be unreasonable of them to just ignore me. That's just wrong, but what if it DID happen? Her heart started beating faster.
They sat in an uncomfortable silence until the girl asked her, "And what's your name?" after the girl asked the question her face looked relieved. As if she just passed a math test she didn't study for, "It's Lily, as in the flower," Lily rolled her eyes playfully and smiled "and what's yours?" she questioned.

Jane then hears the girl's response. She is relieved. After the first sentence you should be fine. His comrade is called Lily. It's a pretty name. Lily returned the question to Jane. This therefore means that she is at least interested in conversation. Jane's face slowly calms down. She even managed to give an uninhibited smile. So she answers calmly:
-My name is Jane.
Now she must follow up with a question. It's pretty simple, she's spoiled for choice. Maybe she should ask him a question related to Hogwarts? After all, this is where the two young girls are going. So she decides to ask him which house she wants to go to. It is simple and efficient. So she does it:
-Which house do you think you are going to? Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor or Hufflepuff?
And where is she going to go? Jane ignores it. His family went to Ravenclaw. Maybe she will go too. This house suits him perfectly anyway. The calm, the serious. It totally looks like him. Or maybe at Hufflepuff? Jane is generous and cares a lot for the people she loves. She suddenly has a doubt. She couldn't go to Gryffindor, she's not brave. So maybe in Slytherin. Everything is mixed up in his head.

Note | Oh, no worries! I'm sorry for my late response. I might be a little slow but I'll try to pick up the pace. Also, I'm changing Lily's dialogue colour to #808000 so don't get too mixed up!
This conversation seemed to kind of be going in the correct direction. Or more positively. In a positive direction. Thankfully, she didn't say something completely stupid. That was overall good. Hopefully it would stay that way.
As they sat silently for awhile. Lily constantly was glancing over at the shy girl. Wondering what her name was, was she a pureblood, halfblood, halfbreed, or muggle born?
The girl seemed very hesitant at the time. Trying to be nice, Lily gave an authentic smile."Jane, nice name, very unique." she gave a thumbs up to Jane. It was a nice name, of course. Jane then asked which house Lily would want to get sorted into. "Most likely Hufflepuff, or Gryffindor. I think. Or Slytherin. I really don't know, what about you? Also, you don't have to be so nervous around me. Um, sorry. I didn't mean for that to come out rude." She blushed slightly out of embarrassment. Realizing the girl was a pureblood, finally, one of her questions in her head was answered! Or, maybe not. She could've been a Pureblood, halfblood or a halfbreed. Why did Lily have these questions? She wasn't sure. Maybe the girl just seemed so interesting. Had many questions herself about Lily. Lily wasn't sure, all she wanted was to get to Hogwarts safely, without any arguments.

Jane listens to her classmate. She blushes with pleasure when Lily compliments her on her first name. An awkward smile appears on her face but this time, Jane feels good. His comrade seems nice and if not, she plays well.
Lily then tells Jane that she could go everywhere, that she doesn’t really know. Then she tells him that Jane must not be embarrassed like that with her. Jane blushes even more. Is it so obvious? Jane answers with a slap:
"Yes, sorry. I am shy and sometimes a little too much."
Jane goes on quickly to hide her distress. She remembers the question she asked Lily. She then gives her opinion although Lily did not return the question to her:
"I’m thinking of going to Hufflepuff. My parents went there together and my sister too. What about you? What house were your parents in?" Oh, maybe they’re muggles ?
Jane is eager to hear Lily’s answer. She is afraid that she has destabilized him by talking about her family. Maybe Lily has problems with her own. And then, Jane knows that there are sorcerers who judge the status of blood. Fortunately, that is not at all his case. But, Lily does not know that.
Jane felt her leg shaking. She sighed. Fortunately, Lily puts an end to Jane’s impatience by answering her almost immediately...
