The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
Tina stumbled into the corridors, hands glued to her hips. Vision no longer obscured by that atrocious paper bag Hanako had so kindly bestowed upon her, she was free to look around without hinderance. It was an odd sight; the groups of clueless students, loitering and following and searching for any idea as to what was going on in the darkness of Hogwarts corridors, as though they were protagonists of some gothic vampire novel or something.
She was alone now, just like she had been before. Hanako hadn't followed: in fact he'd zoned out completely by the time she left, just as off-his-head as she'd first assumed he was, the creep. This was the issue with falling out with friends, Tina now realised. What could have potentially been a fun, if a little scary, night of exploring the castle and mystery solving (Tina already realised this was a fun activity set up by the professors to engage them and their problem solving skills - what else could it have been?) was now a very lonely one indeed. She needed to inject herself into a group: the biggest one she could find to ensure Starlee was as isolated as possible.
A girl with short, choppy hair was leading a notably large group of younger students further down the corridor. She seemed to be taking the whole things rather seriously, which was sort of funny in a way, but the moon-costume-clad Hufflepuff reckoned it also might ruin the casual atmosphere of whatever was going on. Next to her, however, was a girl she recognised from the pet pampering errand at the start of the year. Together, they had groomed the cat of one of Ravenclaw's prefects. This was perfect! Tina made her way over, moon costume bouncing up and down as she approached.
"Hiya guys! Hi Scarlet, remember meee?" she asked, jumping in with little regard for any group dynamic they might have going on. There were a lot of people, and a lot of potential embarrassment with her choice of dress, as well, but at this point she wasn't really thinking about it. "Do they normally do stuff like this to spice things up? 'Cause I think that's well cool!" Noticing that some people had their wands out, she gasped. Tina nearly squealed at the prospect of doing some spell casting, shaking her arms about excitedly and looking between the others. "Are we doing spells? Oh my gosh, yessss! I can make things dance, ya know! It's realllllly funny. Like really."
Tina nodded proudly, as though to say 'I promise I'm not lying, I can actually make things dance, I know, crazy', retrieving her wand from her pocket to show she was prepared to make many things dance, if that was what they needed from her. She would prove herself useful in this mystery-game set up by the teachers, for whatever reason.
"Was that one of the castle ghosts, then? The horse guy?" She felt strange saying this out loud. The poor muggle-born was still trying to wrap her head around the fact that ghosts were real, and not just a fictional thing. It was like a childhood nightmare come true at first, except they were actually pretty funny. "I wonder what his name was. I think he looked like a Charles, personally. Probably some old English name."
Suddenly, the best idea that Tina had ever had ever entered her brain. Sometimes, the girl truly amazed herself. Once again, she was talking to no one in particular, more just trying to prove herself useful to the entire group, and so she spoke loudly.
"How about we try and guess his name?" Whatever anyone said, Tina was keen to show that this was a fantastic approach to take with the situation. She cupped her hands around her mouth, before bellowing, "ARTHUR JOHNSON? BARRY SCOTT? CORNELL MUSTARD?"

The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
Rohan was lost. Completely lost. He had ran after Heather, but couldn't seem to find her anymore, and now he was looking in the crowd to find someone he knew. He knew no-one. He'd be most glad if he'd find Remi or Elisabeth. He knew these two people the best.Interactions: Nobody?
Mentions: @Heather Blair Moretti @Elisabeth Erner
Action: Following the crowd
He looked around and stood against the cold wall, preparing to just leave everything and go to his dorms. That knight what had he said? He tried to recall it.. It was something like..
“Time is running out!
Something terrible is creeping about this castle, and if no one stops it, tragedy cannot be avoided.
If no one steps up to face this challenge, we are all doomed.
Follow the graceful apparition to find the riddle’s first piece - and if you need my help, call my full name.”
No, not something like that. It was that. Exactly that. He thought about it... something terrible was creeping out of the castle... How could that be so bad? If it was going away, surely it couldn't do harm anymore. He heard people talk about a cat. A graceful apparition. Cats are normally associated with gracfullness. That could be it! Maybe, he should follow that cat aswell! He was clever, unlike some other students here... He grinned. Then he tried to remember the knight's (he assumed it was a knight) face. No, that was something for later, and he ran after the crowd.

"Tiger it's a ghost cat you can't just try to play chase with it," the fourth year huffed in frustration as he followed the bengal who was now attempting to tackle the ghost cat in an attempt to make it play with him. It was quite the odd sight, after all the bengal cat was in a costume to make him look like a dragon so that he would match Alan's costume. Alan was looking like a dragon, a common welsh green to be exact and his tail swished in the tact of his steps as his wings softly flapped giving off a very soft breeze. The claws on Alan's hands and feet looked quite lifelike making his 'costume' quite extraordinary as he was following his cat with a scowl on his face. But he was not bothered, he was mostly amused by his cats silly attempts to catch the ghost cat as he was hoping that the cat would not be bothered by it.
The fourth year would look around starting to investigate where the ghost cat was actually leading them as he hoped that Tiger would soon give up on chasing the ghost cat. However there seemed to be a lot more students so Alan wondered if this had to do something with the event. If so, he would like to find out! This was exciting.

The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
Starlee's heels click-clacked loudly after her as she followed Tina out into the corridors to investigate what all the ruckus was about. When she got there, it seemed Tina had already found someone to talk to... 'great. Just great.' Not only this but the boy Starlee thought was so cute was nowhere in sight. This was going to be a problem. She didn't want to look like an outcast with Tina right there, so she scoured the group of people to find someone, anyone, to hang out with.
It was then that she remembered there had to be a lot of her fellow dueling team members there. Their captain had warned them that something bad was bound to happen... perhaps this was it? Starlee pulled out her real wand and shoved her little fake wand in the other's place in her pocket. She was going to be prepared for anything. She caught a glimpse of the captain and one of the other boys on the team and went to stand somewhat next to the both of them, not saying a word.
She took a second to think about the ghost's clue when she heard Tina yelling out random names, I guess in some attempt to figure out the clue. However, it was really if we needed help to call his name... not the actual riddle itself. Sure, it would be useful to know... but how many names would she have to go through before she finally happened to guess the correct one?!? 'hmpf.' She knew they needed to follow the cat to get any more information, so... onward it was, to the first riddle.

The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
Interacting with @Aemadall Zarcovich and @Alexa Mackenzie
"Oh, right...how silly of me," she said and glanced from Alexa and back to Logan. She was here literally dragging these two individuals, these two that were close to her, out of the Rehearsal Room and into the Corridors without so much as an introduction! She had more manners and a better upbringing than that!
"Logan, this is Alexa Mackenzie. Fellow Hufflepuff, dormmate, and best friend. She's amazingly nice, listens better than anyone I know, cares about those she cares about so much, and is great with animals. And Alexa, this is Logan, the mythology knowing boyfriend who is a natural at quidditch and a great racer." She looked from one to the other and smiled, hoping they would get along as well as Alexa and Clifton had.
She was curious on what Alexa's thoughts would be about the boyfriend in general. She wasn't ashamed of it though. She liked Logan. She liked when she saw him across the room or in the corridors and the way it lit up her face and she instantly smiled, she liked spending time with him, she liked talking with him. Still, Alexa knew all of of her history with Clifton and she hoped she understood how deeply he was still missed and mourned.
She was also curious on what Logan would think about her best friend. She had firecracker red hair but her demeanor at first came off as terribly shy. Still, once she got over that, she was one of the fiercest friends one could have and always up for an adventure - whether it was finding secret passages in Hogwarts or looking for ghosts in an abandoned castle at night close to home.
Let your confidence shine, pretty girl.

MENTIONING: @Scarlett Aden @Lily Cawthi
ACTION: following the group, trying to find the cat
Jay followed the large group of people out into the corridors, plucking her wand out of the back pocket of her jeans and clutching it tightly. People were whispering saying they might find a clue if they found the strange, silver cat, which had been silently patrolling the Masquerade. Jay thought that this would be a good starting point, but kept her eyes peeled for anything else suspicious. She had come alone because her friends were too scared as to what might happen and they were acting like wimps. Even though she wasn't close with anyone else in the group, Jay saw some familiar faces, such as the fellow red-head girl from Gryffindor who'd scolded her earlier for calling Cawthi a mudblood. Although now was the time to hold grudges against Scarlett, she needed to focus on the task ahead and make sure Hogwarts was safe. Jade wasn't going to admit it to anyone but deep down she was slightly worried, nobody else needed to know that though, she didn't want to be seen as weak. So far nothing seemed too unusual as she walked down the hallway.

The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
MODERATION POST
With her comfy chucks, @Melissa Carson somehow managed to follow the ghost knight faster than her fellow students. She caught him when he was about to gallop through a thick stone wall only a few corridors from the ballroom. Although she had just made the sprint of her life, she asked him nicely and politely for his name. Her sweet voice reached the man and although he did not stop, he turned around again and gave her a serious look. ”Time is running out. I’m the one you are looking for. Earn the name, girl.” Then he had already disappeared through the thick stone wall.Charisma Roll (DC 15): 21
Although @Kara Capricorn had immediately stormed out of the ballroom to accept the challenge and motivate her classmates, she wasn't there early enough to talk to the spirit - instead, she had caught a glimpse of him as he ran past her, and indeed something had caught her eye… Would she stick with the leader role she had slipped into and not only remind everyone of the last words of the ghost, but also share her knowledge with others?@Alec Mason, however, seemed to have some authority issues with Kara and made sure to get a glimpse of the ghostly horseman himself. If he did not want to accept the leadership of another person, then he should definitely have some useful information up his sleeve, right?Observation Roll (DC 15): 20
Clue roll: 4 [owl]@Henry Knight, the young werewolf, stuck his nose into this mystery, too. Riddles were his passion and he was good at solving them - a skill he advertised to everyone else. Trying to assert himself as the alpha around here, he started rolling information back and forth and giving out tasks. Everyone should do their part. Was the cat a patronus? Was the ghost a rider of the Headless Hunt? Maybe he threw in the right clues and inspired others to look around.Observation Roll (DC 15): 16
Clue roll: 3 [owl]
He wasn’t the only one who had the Headless Hunt in mind. @Scarlett Aden was also thinking about this possibility, but then she got distracted by the candy she picked up on her way. Was this some sort of clue? Well, it couldn’t hurt to check it.Hmm… It actually looked like a candy from the Muggle world. Maybe it tasted like lemon? But whether one should eat something that one had picked up from the ground…Observation Roll (DC 15): 19
This group, led by Henry and Kara, was joined by a few more people who may not have contributed as much themselves. @Leonard Oaksworth, for example, seemed somewhat lost. Hadn't there just been a cat? He could have sworn he saw it a moment ago…But there were so many people here who somehow looked much more intimidating than him (Dmitri Jones, Astrea Soleil Neptune and Anastasia Beckett) and blocked his view. Against his will, he tried to avoid their gaze, staring at the ceiling and pretending he wasn't there. He did well to ask his friends for clues, since he couldn't even see the cat right under his nose. Stick with your friends, dude!Observation Roll: Auto-fail due to Terrible Presence
He wasn’t the only one who was lost, though. @Jade Sunshine also tried to catch a glimpse of the mysterious cat.But as her fellow Slytherin she was looking everywhere but to the cat. Someone should save these kids!Observation Roll: nat 1 → crit fail
Maybe @Rohan Fog could help them. He was still thinking about the mysterious words of the ghost, maybe overthinking a little. Something terrible is creeping about this castle - or was it creeping out of the castle? In this case, no need to worry, right? But okay, let’s just follow the cat. Where was the cat anyway?Oh, there she was! Slowly walking down the corridor right in front of him. Go ahead, tell Leonard and Jade and save them from their misery!Observation Roll (DC 2): 9
@Heather Blair Moretti and @Lily Cawthi didn’t waste their time looking for clues - they rather decided to stick with their friends and to socialize. Maybe one of them had already figured something out? Let’s just not split the party and work on this mystery together. Waiting for someone to take the lead they probably should listen to Kara or Henry.
Cassie Heather McGregor-Martin (@Lucia Fox) was not satisfied with letting everyone else do the work, no. These sweets were strange, why were they just lying around on the floor? She should get to the bottom of this! But maybe the situation was more scary than expected, or was it the people? Sherlock Holmes suddenly felt insecure, and the incantation that she usually knew by heart wouldn’t come across her lips. She floundered and the wand lit up only once for a short time before the spell evaporated into thin air.Casts Revelio on sweets (DC 11)
Wisdom Roll: Auto-fail due to Terrible Presence
Her much more suspicious and energetic classmate @Lindsey Springhall had the very same idea and succeeded in casting the spell. But the candy just seemed to be just that. A candy. Maybe it just got lost during the Halloween preparations? If it was a present from an enemy, she wanted to make sure that they did not have hypoglycemia in the fight. But of course, what seemed more innocent than candy? Being careful is always a good idea.Casts Revelio on sweets
Wisdom Roll (DC 11): 20
@Wyatt Starkey was rather the careful type of guy as well, but maybe less aggressive. He was sure, something dark was going on here and they shouldn’t philosophize about the candy too much! They should solve the riddle and figure out the name of the ghost! It was not the first time that tragedy struck Hogwarts, so they mustn't waste time!
Here he found a kindred soul in @Sapphire Riddle, who also wanted to solve the mystery and not waste her time with sweets. She had hurried so much to stay with the group that she almost fell. The Headless Hunt also had popped up in her mind. She had caught a glimpse of the rider, but she had noticed nothing special except the obvious.@Jo Morgan perhaps, in contrast to her classmates, did not think enough about the sweets and shoved one of them directly into her mouth (please, who eats something that was found on the floor?)Observation Roll (DC 15): 11Hm, maybe that wasn't such a bad idea. It tasted even still quite outstanding, but nothing unusual happened.Effect Roll: 5
@Piper Clark and Silver Ventress (@Jess Malters), who had joined this dubious adventure to flee the advances of one very obstinate Alexei Petrov (Anastasia Beckett), shared the same idea that they would like others to do the work for them, or bring them more clues to solve this mystery. While Piper straight out thought how nice it would be if someone would solve the riddle for her, Silver apparently expected more clues to just show up on their own. At least the Beauxbatons girl thought to check their mysterious, graceful guide for anything suspicious.Upon closer inspection she decided that yes, for all she could see and know, this was a ghost, indeed. Otherwise, she mostly spent her time observing what everyone else was doing, although none of it seemed to be good enough for her. Judgy, judgy.Observation Roll (DC 10): 11
On the other side of the spectrum, @Anastasia Beckett thought of herself as Merlin’s gift to wizardkind, obviously vastly superior to all of her peers, and she didn’t have any trust in their ability to solve this mystery whatsoever. Want something done properly, gotta do it yourself, right? However, she was immediately distracted by some of her peers, and instead of contributing anything to the speculations, started plotting to set some of the other girls on fire.
@Dmitri Jones agreed with Anastasia in that he was likely the smartest person around, best suited to this task, and he was determined to figure it all out, this time. Keeping a close eye on his surroundings and trying to use all of his astonishing wit and intellect… maybe he had seen something important?@Astrea Soleil Neptune had followed the call of her captain, and joined the exodus of the ballroom, her pretty green brooch sparkling on her dress. The spectral rider, like for some others, invoked the association of the fabled Headless Hunt - but she discarded the notion. The headless riders were a rather well-known group, but the individual members were mostly unknown and nameless. There had to be some other way to figure out his name.Observation Roll (DC 15): 23
Clue Roll: 4 [owl]
@Falentra Black remembered at least one member of the Headless Hunt: Its leader, Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore. Could it be…? Could their mysterious rider really be that one, most illustrious member of the ghostly Hunt? Maybe she’d have to call out his name to find out.
Accompanying Falentra was @Howard White, who had the sneaking suspicion that this event was something set up by the staff of Hogwarts, and not a serious danger at all. On the other hand… there were real dangers about, so better safe than sorry. Either way, he decided to keep a close eye on his surroundings. Maybe something stuck out to him, maybe something tickled his memory?Either way, he regretted not just asking the ghost for his name. Ridiculous task, having to guess the name of dead people.Observation Roll (DC 15): 16
Clue Roll: 1 [owl]
@Søren Silverwood took a rather pragmatic approach. He himself had missed talking to the ghost, but Hogwarts had eyes and ears everywhere, so why not talk to the portraits? The portraits whispered when they were so politely approached by the young man. A lady in a noble red dress finally cleared her throat and replied: “Yes, we have seen the ghost rider. He’s the one you are looking for. We can’t give you further information, but the other portraits closer to the tragedy might be able to help you. Keep asking and good luck. Please save us all!”Charisma Roll (DC 10): 13
This conversation was closely observed by @Calanthe Choi. She herself hadn’t noticed anything special, so why not stick with the chatty guy who would collect all the information for her?Observation Roll (DC 15): 12
@Martyna Romero took a rather unorthodox approach to solving the mystery of the rider’s name. Maybe he was called Arthur Johnson? Barry Scott? Cornell Mustard? There weren’t that many names in the world, if she just kept guessing, she’d have to stumble upon the right one eventually, right? But if she did, would the ghost even hear her?Wherever he had gone after posing his riddle, there was only silence. He scratched his ear, thoughts far away.Ghost Listen Roll: 15
@Marshal Mozor, between pining about his lost love Melissa and staring blankly into space, had the idea that this entire thing was maybe much simpler than they imagined. Maybe… it was just a giant pun. Similar to when a halfling had figured out that the word “Friend” would let them into the mines of the dwarves, Marshal bravely called out “My name!” - but with much less resounding success. In fact, it likely just earned him a few bewildered glances from the peers around him. Good try, Marshal! Stick to the puns, we like them.
There were more people around who were busier with pining than solving riddles. @Starlee Kennedy also joined the event, although less to investigate danger and doom, and more to find Tina. Their relationship that night seemed close to star-crossed, however, and Martyna was already busy with someone else, so Starlee instead joined her captain, Dmitri, and kept an eye open for clues. It was quite the presence Dmitri had, and somehow, she suddenly seemed unable to focus or observe anything, all her senses distracted by the predator she stood next to.Observation Roll: Auto-fail due to Terrible Presence.
In contrast to those two spurned lovers, Romeo Marchonné (@Piérre Marchonné ) wasn’t here alone. No, he was here with his friend, his ally, someone he could always dance with, uh, rely on, and would willingly sacrifice his life for. Or… was he? Romeo’s words seemed to be directed towards thin air [Hanzo has not stated he is joining the Hunt], but it didn’t keep him from flirting with his invisible boyfriend. Other than that, he was busy being an all-around Gryffindor: Action! Challenges! Hopefully punches would fly! He was, however, still keeping an eye out for anything that might help.Something he had seen earlier, maybe…?Observation Roll (DC 15): 26
Clue Roll: 3 [owl]
And then, oh, the happy (?) couples. @Percival Rainwood and @Opeila Winters had lost each other in the crowd, but were trying to find their way back to each other. Would they manage this feat? (Stay tuned to find out.) But while Opeila dedicated her entire attention to this task, already aware of the ghostly cat they were following, Percival had somehow lost sight of it, and was now trying to spot it again. Granted, there were a lot of people around, so maybe it was hard to see, even for someone as tall for his age as he was.Or maybe it wasn’t. Whether he saw it by glancing over the surrounding crowd’s heads or just figured out that, duh, they were following the cat, so it was likely at the front of the group, he gained his orientation back. Hopefully he’d spot Opeila this easily, too.Observation Roll (DC 2): 18
@Elisabeth Erner and Gregorí Erkens (@Ginevra Tsuchiya) were still in the tender phase of getting to know each other, discovering they took comfort in each other’s presence. The pretty Part-Veela felt uncomfortable surrounded by the crowd, not quite sure she wanted to be here at all, not fond of chaos and confusion, but Gregorí made her feel better, safer. Gregorí on the other hand was torn between concern about the girl accompanying him and a general taste for the chaos that was so characteristic for Hogwarts social events. Those kids needed structure, order, leadership! But not by him. He’d just watch and flirt.
Another maybe happy couple split apart was @Elspeth Blaine and her elusive Pygmy Puff. Darn it, Maggie, where did you run off to? Instead of her beloved pet, she stumbled upon a mystery, and some candy. Ignoring the mystery, she decided to focus on the candy instead. What if (gasp one of them was actually Maggie? Driven by the thought, she attempted to cast the general Untransfiguration spell on the sweets.Petrified with worry about her Puff, the spell didn’t work as intended, spluttered and then exploded from her wand, setting the candy on fire. Oh, we hope that wasn’t Maggie.Cast Reparifarge on sweets (DC 7)
Wisdom Roll: nat 1 → crit fail
Trailing a little behind the main group of students excited for mystery and adventure were a few more lost souls: @Andrew Vance and his beautiful, luscious hair would have never joined this on his own, and he was too distracted by thoughts about his newly grown mane to pay much attention to things going on. @Alina Rosier and @Aemadall Zarcovich prioritised social interactions over the mystery, and hey, why not? They could still say later that they had been along for the action. Logan made a small attempt at finding something useful, but found the terribly intimidating presence of some of the other students too daunting. Better stick to introductions.@Paisley Brown, on the other hand, seemed incredibly excited about the event, and at the same time entirely clueless. There wasn’t going to be real danger, right? At a magic school? Following a ghost? No way. But hey, this was going to be FUN!Observation Roll: Auto-fail due to Terrible Presence
@Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood was rather fascinated by the horse of the ghost knight. How fast it was! Fast and… gone. But the pale witch was generally interested in animals so the cat drew her attention. @Ruka Burnett-Tân, who came on his broom accompanied by friends, had his eyes on the cat, too. @Alan Vanes was fascinated by the cat as well. How couldn’t he? His own cat was with him all the time.It was a really wonderful creature with shining intelligence in its eyes. It was rare, but here it was actually a ghost cat. The cat seemed to know that she had a mission or task since she was looking back at the students from time to time to check if they still were following. In addition, she didn’t seem to just wander around aimlessly but to have a plan, a goal - a place she wanted to lead the students to.Observation Roll (DC 10): 28 (Aida)
Observation Roll (DC 10): 18 (Ruka)
Observation Roll (DC 10): 19 (Alan)
Alexander (NPC @Lydia Cooper) also concentrated on the cat after it was the only thing the rider had left behind. He memorized the animal exactly, yes, he had burned the image into his brain forever. Who knows when you could use it again?Observation Roll (DC 10): nat 20 → crit. success [owl]
Tiger, Alan’s cat, was not satisfied with just looking at the cat, but wanted to play with it and thus to tackle it.The tabby cat once jumped right through the ghost cat. He would feel icy cold on his fur as he passed the body and meow in fright.Accuracy Roll: 25 (Tiger)
Evasion Roll: 21 (cat)
FIRST LOCATION
After padding out of the Ballroom and taking a quick spin around the Rehearsal Room, the spectral cat seemed to be headed towards a more distant location now. The group of students trailing her had grown significantly on the way, some latecomers still catching up, their steps hurried.
Finally, she stopped in front of a painting, staring up at it for a long second, meowing softly, before she turned around, swiping playfully at Tiger, the other feline companion of the group. Apparently this was the destination she’d been leading them towards.
On first glance, there was nothing terribly noticeable about the painting. It was large, even for the giant monstrosities so often found in this castle, a gold-plated frame, with a vague, dark background. The painting’s sole inhabitant didn’t seem to be doing very well, however: He was lying on the ground, breathing shallowly, a puddle of blood spreading on the ground around him. Obviously too weak to speak, there was a pleading expression on his face, and he had one hand stretched upwards as if asking for help.
Would anyone help him? Could they?
There was something more going on, and someone would have to figure out what it was.

The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
Dan came in with Andy, eager to see what was going on. He naturally had no clue, as he was just exiting the costume party. And good thing too, with him, Andy, and Jack Warren, that place was a time bomb. Dan was glad to have gotten out before he had to beat Jack's stupid face in for daring to show said stupid face in his or Andy's presence.
Dan didn't know what to expect, but he knew this was either going to be fun, or life threatening. Either way, he was happy he left Loki in their dorm. He had Penelope to play with, while he and Andy had fun on their not, but still totally legitimately a date.
Though, while Dan looked around wondering what was going on and trying to make sense of it, he was also plotting in the back of his mind.
Andy had launched a surprise tickle attack on him before they left. A surprise tickle attack, even taking advantage of his perpetually bare feet; his worst spot.
This would not go without retaliation. Dan would have his horrible, ticklish revenge on his cute best friend.
Still though, what was going on? He needed a bit more time to fully grasp what was happening here.

"Do you thing it will work?,"They hollered out to the Moon girl. Cash remembered that the Moon girl and Starlee used to be best friends back in the Field Day event before the new school year rolled in.
"There are a billion names the Ghost Knight can be. How long do you think you can guess the Ghost Knight name until you are right?"They hurled their venom to the girl. Cash shake their head and let out a mocking laughter toward the girl.
Then the green eyes saw the darn spectralagain. This time around the spectral

The Fall Ball (The Hunt)
Interacting with no one in particular, Mentioning @Martyna Romero
SHE FOLLOWED THE REST OF THE GROUP, which was also following the apparition for the most part. There a few new faces, some in mildly outrageous costumes. (Outrageous not meaning bad, just out there.) She assumed they were from the costume party. That would make the most sense.
After her ears were assaulted by the girl in the moon costume, whom she did not know, she felt disappointment upon not finding anything herself. She didn't seem to have been of much use as of yet.
However, it seemed the luck of her and the rest of the group was beginning to turn - for better or for worse, she did not yet know - upon reaching a certain painting. Due to her fast walking pace, she'd worked her way closer to the front. When she saw the painting, she was suddenly wondering about why they were taking such a slow pace in the first place. Who - or rather what - could possibly manage to hurt a being within a painting? she thought. She noted that it could have been another painting-dweller, but who? What? And was there something else that factored into it? She was thinking too much again. Or perhaps not?
Her expression was one of confusion. What could have possibly happened? Then she concluded that the best way to find out at least a little bit would be to examine the painting. The figure within was covered in blood and seemingly pointing upwards. Was there something in that direction or was it a desperate plea, a signal to whoever noticed to say he needed aide? She felt quite a bit of wonder and curiosity and perhaps due to the adrenaline rush, no fear. She had been disappointed when her last search for clues had proved unsuccessful, but that certainly did not mean she would be giving up. No, definitely not.
And something had finally happened, making the situation even more curious. She was getting off track. She chose to search the painting and also the area around it in the corridor, trying to find something - anything - that would clue towards... well, their next clue. The next step. The cat had stopped moving, so they did not currently have any direction. She also didn't particularly want to dictate the actions of the rest of the group, so she would settle for just silent observation for the time being. Let's see if I can find something...
