On a saturday morning an owl came to Rosie with the satisfaction of containing the new Hunchback of Notre Dame Play Script, she had watched it and loved the whole libretto, she knew all the songs by heart and now she could practice the lines. This got her in a super good mood. She ate breakfast so quickly she almost choked twice, and ran towards the rehearsal room while it was still early and students were least likely to wander around there. She thought about inviting someone...Perhaps they would consider it much dull or embarrassing, so alone she went. I might as well play all the parts!
She dresses with her white flowing blouse, the one that made her feel like a pirate, oh yes, great memories with that blouse. And boots. Usually boots for outdoors activities but they made a great "tlek tlek tlek" sound as she parade around. The drama is all that matters.
And Quasimodo sits, hunched, looking down at the outstanding view or Paris. Everything talks to Quasimodo, the gargoyles, the threes, the birds...Is it stupid?, he asks, ashamed. Rosie reflected; "how good it is to find people that do not think what you do is stupid." Esmeralda reassures him, no, nothing is stupid, the view is amazing, and he has a special spot all for himself.
"Just like me...? I guess..."
One, two deep breaths...Picturing herself at the top of the world. City gates. River Seine. Remember to project your voice!
Esmeralda character: YES! It... sparkles in the light. I'm glad I can get to... to see things down there. Gazing down to the top of the world. No. This is wrong. Again._ Ugh, why was she so nervous. She shook her arms and hair chaotically. Energy, energy, energy. And warmed her voice; OHHHHHH-AHHHH-AHHH-LA-LA-LAAA. Ahem.

Michael heard something, a girl's voice. He walked through the hall, until he came up to a door that read "theatre." He wasn't going in there, he told himself, he'd problary be bored. With that he walked away.
Ten mintues later, Michael was walking down the rows of chairs, not wanting to be too close but not waiting to be to far either.
On the stage was a girl, not much older than him, if at all. She was acting out something he'd never heard of before, most likely muggle. He was completely entranced.
He walked until he was at the fifth row and sat down in the surprisingly comfortable chair. As he sat, she sang another line, her voice loud and confident.
Wow, she's really good, Michael thought, his eyes following her on the stage. He was blown away by the fact one person, only one, could catch his attention and make the play she was in, or maybe just playing around with, worth watching.
He was so entranced that he didn't even think about the fact she could see him easily. So when she turned and her eyes widened im his direction, he was confused and even turned to look behind him before realising she was looking at him.

As she got confident in her feet, Rosie even started wheeling around, it would have been more fun with a dress, she thought. But no time to waste now, she was in the perfect rhythm, she now would pass on to the statues and gargoyles: trying to reach the higher and lower notes, to mimic male voices was harder than she anticipated, but still, the flow was nice, she posed and even tried to keep up the facial expressions.
And with a shock, she glanced at the shine of two eyes watching her. She gasped so loud, it was close to a scream. _Holly raven...._She placed her hand in her chest, loud thumping on her heart. She felt the blood run straight to her cheeks but there was not much to do now, she wasn't the flee type. She got intrigued. With her eyes narrowing she could see it was a young boy, nothing to be ashamed about, she told herself. Of course, immediately checked her hair pins to see if they were all in place. _Hey. Look at you sitting on top of the world._ She smiled. Using the music lyrics to talk to him. How would he react? Who was he? _I shouldn't speak to you, but still I see your face and wonder, were you once an outcast too?_Maybe he could tell those were lines, but she did not mind. She would make him her audience, she got closer to the edge of the stage, she extended her hand as if to tell him to come closer.

For all these years
You've stayed alone
And free from danger
We shared your fears
It wasn't safe to trust a stranger
But maybe we were wrong here-

Michael wanted to apologize for the shock he gave her, but she seemed to take it in strive, almost lighting up more. She seem to talk to him with the lines, and he was mesmerized.
'Wow she is something' he thought, as he got up, and walked on and up the theatre rows. He keep going over the lines, they seemed to familiar to him, but he couldn't remember from where.
He moved standing at the stage, watching the girl openly. He watched as he walked with grace and then power across the stage. He wondered what she was doing, a play she made? Maybe she bought it? Was it something in the school?
He saw that she seemed to be playing more than one role, and she was very good at it, from the way her body language changed to the emotion in her voice. He didn't know whether he should clap for her or if he should whoop at its excellent. It was good enough to be real, a play with high quality background and things, but they were still alone, like this was something fun or special.
Overall it didn't matter because when the play stopped, he didn't know what to do, and was frozen in place.

His expression was amusing. Very surprising that was...Rosie assumed he would get embarrassed and leave. Maybe even just point at her and laugh. Perhaps he was a genuine audience. Her ego inflated, she could feel it. Could it be that I am a good actress and am worthy of praise? Ha.
He got into the stage and watched her closely, his eyes were following her so attentively she almost tripped on the lines at some point, but recovered fast. What was he doing there? As she kept singing and playing parts, he reacted with such wonder? Did he know the play? Probably not or he would sing along. Her eyes kept meeting him. She was trying to have fun with the embarrassment...Although, would he just keep looking at her like that?
The excitement of it all made her heart beat faster, she got more energized to merge lyrics together. Hum...What would it take to make him react?
Rosie then got closer to him, now she could see his face, he was a lot shorter than her, wasn't unusual since she was tall, but even for boys that age he was a bit short, but stood so composed, she smiles at that. She wondered if he would have dimples, he had the angelic faces you see in classical paintings, yet a sharp jaw for his oval face. The bluest eyes...This wasn't even fair, if she was the star why did he look like he just came out of a model catalog.
_I've watched a happy pair of lovers walking in the night, they had a kind of glow around them._She spoke slowly, she started walking circles around him. She wanted to start laughing, so so bad, oh this was so cringy, but no, she kept her voice serious, and kept on speaking. _It almost looked...Like heaven's light. I knew I'd never know that warm and loving glow...Though, I might wish with all my-_She choked on her own laugh, she could not do it anymore, this was too embarrassing. Poor boy, she should stop messing with him, he was probably just bored.
_Oh, I'm sorry, I can't- I can't even continue. Oh you had to see your face._She even bent a little and fell to sit on the floor, collapsing with laughter. _Who are you? A secret admirer?_

As the girl moved closer, Michael felt his breathing stop. He watched the girl, whom seem to try to get an reaction out of him, using what he figured were lyrics. He signed when her serious face broke to show how amused she was.
As her composer melted, Michael's expression looked relieve, but that quickly changed as the girl seemed to me amused not at what she had done but with him and his reaction. He blushed, realising that he shouldn't have walked in, and especially shouldnt have stayed.
As the girl finally broke charater, and seemed to look younger, she surprised him by asking if he was some secret admirer. He blushed more, and nearly fainted in embarrassment and shock. "What? No! I- I was just watching you act, I thought you were good." He said, his voice showing how much the question got to him. "And what are you even acting? Some muggle piece?" He asked, trying to turn the attention off him and to her. Of course the piece was muggle even an idiot would know that, but he didn't know what to say to her to distract her from his embarrassment, that still painted his cheeks in red.

He started blushing like a clown, Rosie kept laughing because after all, he must pay for interrupting her play. You just do not walk on someone's presentation like that and get out alive. But at least the audience inspired her to keep going, so that was indeed a very much fun rehearsal.
