The entire RP should be 300 words or more. You will want to include Reparo and Tarantallegra in the same RP with their proper incantations and wand movements as well.

Okay! That's how I wrote it, as a single thing, but since I made a clear separation and transition between Taranteallegra and Reparo, I just wanted to be certain. Thank you!

Sorry if this has been already answered somewhere. I am still new and only starting with homework.

Do we have to cite sources or somehow prove our statements ?
I mean if one website says a spell was first used in one way and the other says it was something similar but different... could it lead to a worse grade ?

@Verner Llf You don't have to cite sources. If you wish to for those "just in case" situations that is fine, but for the most part, I and the other professors are not looking for cited works. If there is a question on an assignment, it should be stated in the lesson itself to help you give an answer, but if it isn't, then most of us the Harry Potter Wiki here to create our assignment questions. This wiki website will also be the main source of most professor's materials to teach students spells and lessons.

As for not getting a proper grade, there is a possibility that you will be docked pts for not giving the kind of answer that a professor is looking for. If you have access to that wiki page I would utilize that all the time to get your answers. A professor will provide a link to other source material if they require you to get another answer from elsewhere.

I would like to ask you about your homework (first class in the first year), when you have written at least 50 words on one answer, did you mean this as all the questions under the task (1,2,3,4) together, or for each question separately.

I apologize if I am not answering your question correctly, but here is the answer for what I’m understanding:

If the minimum word count says ‘50 words’ you would need to write at least 50 words per each question unless the professor says otherise.

Yup- that's fine. The requirement is a minimum of 50 words- so it's alright to include more than 50 words.

Probably a dumb question but just to confirm - for fill-in-the-blanks and multiple choice do we still need to meet the 50 word min (eg. expand on our answers)?

Also, for fill-in-the-blank should the filled in part be in our own words or straight from the lecture?

Hello dear!
First off no question is dumb!

For fill-in-the-blanks and multiple-choice questions in my assignments, you do not need to meet the 50-word requirement. And for fill-in-the-blanks you do not need to put it into your own words you can take it straight from the lecture.
