NaNoWriMo King's Colors

Genre: Fiction, with Historical, Fantasy and Steampunk elements

This story will resolve around people, around politics, and you could call it a a Coming-of-age story if the protagonist wasn't a 21-year-old. It is fully intended to have elements that appeal to mainstream readers: something to define yourself through (aura), a protagonist who (at least in the beginning) is more a passenger than the driving force of what happens (somebody to identify with), a plot that is magical, in a way, something that would never happen, the miracle that changes your whole life that so many people would love to experience.

I love creating and playing with emotions. It should work kinda well with this story, especially since there's actually some romance in it (fair warning: this writer sucks at writing romance).

tl;dr I might have slipped and created a YA story without realizing.
