Back at the start of the year:
Time in Hogwarts seemed to go by quite quickly, before he could even catch up with everything that was going on, he had already been sorted out to Hufflepuff and he had already checked the new space he'd stay for the next year, and strangely enough, he had not yet stumble upon anyone that wanted to talk to him, apart of the teachers and a few students who simply were asking for directions.
Luckily, Hogwarts had a massive library, enough to keep Aldor busy in his free time for the next few years, the Irish boy would look for a place to sit, and once he found it, he dedicated to read the book he had been holding since he came out of the dorms he had been placed in. It was a beautiful book, with a blue cover and silver flowers drawn over it, the spine was a dark shade of red, with a name written over it, 'Iphiane Humbleglow'.
The boy seemed really focused, he was completely immersed in the book, of course, this was common for Aldor, books were his way to escape reality, the same happened with music, but Aldor had to get used to reading more listening to the type of music he liked, yet, he did not mind, he loved books, nothing could change that about him.
And so, Aldor kept reading, being on his own, at peace.

Lillie couldn't believe that the sorting went as quickly as it did. The only thing she could really remember from it was sitting down at the Hufflepuff table. She followed the prefect to the Hufflepuff common room and settled in quickly. She tried to make friends, but with all the excitement and new faces, she struggled to keep their attention for long.
Her first week was busy, but who's isn't? Her escape was the library were she would study and read. It was so quiet compared to the halls outside. She carried her books with her into the library and was planning on studying and doing her homework when she noticed something that seemed familiar.
She came closer to see if she was correct. She examined the name written on the spine of the book and her eyes twinkled. 'Iphiane Humbleglow' was written on it. She sat down across from the boy reading. She examined him for a moment before clearing her throat to try and get the boys attention. Her hair kept falling over her shoulder and she kept trying to fix it. She just kept thinking about how cool it was to meet a fan of Iphiane Humbleglow.

The boy would brush away the hair that was covering his left eye, he could once again feel the breeze running through his face, the boy would dart his eyes towards rhe girl standing nearby, he jumped a little, but recovered his composture quickly.
He would look at the grass for a moment and turned back to the girl unable to understand how to react, but he simply spoke up, trying not to freak out.
"oh- hello, I'm Aldor- And you are?- "
He did not mention his last name, he was far too nervous to remember, but at least the girl probably knew he was a Hufflepuff that is to his robes, whatever it was about the boy, the strangest thing about him was that he was all alone, maybe he just enjoyed being alone or maybe he simply had no one else to be with, he recalls seeing the girl from far away, but he was probably wrong, after all, he was reading when he was in the common room.
"So- did you come to explore the grounds?- It is really nice out here, isn't it? The cold and the fresh air- I wonder why the others stayed inside instead of coming out here to nature-"
He would do his best to give her a kind smile, he was kind of cute, but it was obvious that he was really nervous.

She smiled and looked at the boy close. She recognized him by his robes but she didn't have her robes on due to her spilling juice all over it during breakfast and didn't have time to get a clean one from her dorm.
"Hello. My names Lillie. It's nice to meet you Aldor."
Her accent was a bit heavy but still understandable. She took in how he kept fighting his hair and seemed a bit frustrated at watching but brushed it off. She looked around and took in a nice breeze.
"Well... I was going to study in the library but it was a bit crowded so outside it is. It is a nice day though. I don't know why anyone would be inside. Might I ask what book you're reading? I couldn't help but notice that it's a book by Iphiane Humbleglow. She's one of my favorite authors."
She started getting frustrated at her hair and sighed pulling it back over her shoulders. Once it fell again, she pulled it all back like she was going to put it up and twisted it to make sure it didn't fall over her shoulder again. She hoped it would stay like that for a good moment.

Aldor would feel his face go a tone of red, as he began to speak once again.
" Lillie? That is a really nice name-"
It's rare to find somebody who agrees with Aldor, but he was glad that at least someone thought in a similar way. Maybe this first year will not be as bad as Aldor first thought.
"Oh this is the- third book of the second collection, the Encyclopedia of magical beings, and- I agree Iphiane is absolutely wonderful, there's nothing like waking up to enjoy the breakf- "
Aldor suddenly snapped out of it, realizing it might not be smart to say his aunt was a writer.
"B-ooks, the books she wrote, I-I read them all the time, before bed- while having breakfast, but uh- this specific book is my favorite from all of them, I love magical beings and I just can't stop reading it- I have a few more of this copy, if you want to borrow one, someday, this one is a signed copy but- I have another for just- if you're interested- "
The boy seemed nervous, it was quite hard to hide it, specially with the constant stuttering he had, but at least, he seemed like a good guy.
"It's nice to find someone who shares the same tastes for books so- I wouldn't mind sharing my collection with them-"

Lillie didn't seem to notice the slip up. She just seemed amused at his nervousness. She felt nervous as well but tried to hide it. So far she was doing well.
"Thank you."
Her whole face went into awe at the mention of the extra books. She smiled and nodded some. She listened to him close as he said which one it was.
"That would be nice. I had to leave my books at home because I couldn't fit them in my luggage."
She went into a bit of shocked that he had a signed copy. She started to stumble and stutter over her words in her excitement.
"Y..... Y.... You actual me... got.... met her?"
She looked at him in awe. She couldn't look away even when the wind started to pick up slightly and blew her hair in her face. She just simply kept shoving it out of the way until she got frustrated enough and checked to see if she had a hair tie around her wrist. Luckily, she hadn't lost it yet and waited for the wind to die down so she could tie her hair up. Once it was up, she waited for him to reply

Aldor would try his best to keep eye contact, but this situation was nerve wrecking, but at least, he managed to avoid speaking about Iphiane being his aunt, but that relief will soon disappear.
And so, he listened to her, doing his best to keep smiling and remain calm.
"Oh, I didn't have much trouble with that, I organized a specific place for my favorite books, I couldn't just leave them, I ven when there's a giant library, you know?"
His stuttering was less intense, slowly adapting to the conversation, his smile also seemed less forced. But soon, his smile turned into a poker face, again, he spoke too much.
"W-ell, yes I met her in person, she goes to Diagon Alley every once in a while and let me tell you, she really is as kind as most people say, a little hyperactive too-"
Aldor hoped that this was enough information for the girl, he was terrified of being recognized as 'Humbleglow'. After all, he was unsure of what to do if someone found out.
"Have you- never met her before? Or seen her in person at least? "
Before he could finish talking, a letter fell from the book, it was impossible to hide it, but right in the top of the letter it said 'To Aldor Humbleglow' with the same writing style as Iphiane's signsture. Suddenly, Aldor felt his heart stopping, it was impossible to avoid this topic anymore.

Before the letter fell out, Lillie thought for a moment and shook her head.
"I could never afford to go to Diagon Alley before I got my letter. My mother and father work a lot just to get by. They even had to put a separate fund for my education."
She really didn't seem to care about telling anyone her status financially. She was just interested in friends and going home for the holidays. She looked at the boy again.
"My grandmother is the one who sends me the books. My father told her that she's my favorite author and I get them as gifts. It's the best gifts ever."
A smile crossed over her face as she started to go down memory lane. Once she came back to reality, she noticed the letter fall out. She seemed a bit confused but saw what was written on the front. She seemed to go into shock seeing his last name. She looked from him to the letter several times before jumping up to her feet a bit too excited and smiling.
"Wait... You're related to her?! She has a child?!"
This new development was sending her over the moon. She never expected to be close to someone who's met her favorite author, let alone related to her!

"Please do not- tell anyone about this, I can't lie to you anymore and tell you that I got nothing to do with Iphiane- But please, you cannot tell it to anybody- "

Lillie watched the boy with curiosity. Her amused smile replaced the one of awe and surprise. She thought for a good moment about his question.
"I guess you can say Iphiane helped me a lot. I didn't really have any friends and her books made me feel like I had a close friend I could rely on."
Her smile was bright but her eyes had a bit of sorrow hidden in them. Thinking back to her early childhood seemed.... Dull compared to it now. She examined the boy and remembered he asked her not to tell anyone.
"You can trust me. I know how to keep a secret."
She smiled sweetly and sincerely. She looked up at the sky to see a few clouds moving in. Her smile faded as she realized that they were rain clouds.
"Should we head inside before we get caught in the rain?"
She offered his hand smiling and ask a simple, yet unusual question.
"Do you like winter or spring? I personally like winter because the snow is just so pretty and it's also pretty fun to play in. Catching snowflakes is my favorite thing about winter. I love to see their pretty patterns before they melt away."
