After katherine rushed out the ball room she quickly rushed to her dorm room and grabbed her wand that was sitting on her dresser and headed down back to enter the lavatory.
As katherine swiftly went and entered in the girls lavatory she made sure no one was here it was empty she stood in front of the porcelain sink and looked at herself in the mirror everything was hot even though her dress was quite open she felt she was boiling alive she took off her mask that was hiding her identity she looked at the mirror then back down at the sink and finally she broke down into millions of pieces like a broken mirror she couldn't handle it anymore she has had enough judgement from people in just this stupid event what if she really did look bad and looked ugly maybe she just looked horrible.
Thought after thought came rushing into katherine hitting her hitting her both mentally and physically she broke down tears she placed both hands on both sides of the sink grabbing them strongly.
To try to keep herself in control she hummed a little tune she used to sing which made her happy a tune her mother used to sing for her although she just hummed while crying but in her thoughts she tries to concentrate on the song even though she was broken she spoke in her thoughts " I know it hurts sometimes but you'll get over it,you'll find another life to live I know that you'll get over it,I know your sad and tired but .....", she stopped at that she couldn't concentrate any more she punched the mirror with all her anger which made it break and shatter into a million pieces just scratching her fist which made a small leak of blood come from it but katherine was too sad too tired.
She kept looking down at the sink and broke even more thinking why did she warm up to him when all he did was judge her negatively and that stupid hideous of a girl saying he could do better than katherine. All katherine wanted was to enjoy the ball like all the other couples maybe katherine wasn't destined for happiness she should have listened to her father being merciful is weak being kind to someone is weak since all they do is find it as an advantage to step all over you.Katherine regretted her decision katherine stood there just holding the porcelain sides of the sinks waiting for something to happen maybe to get herself together all she knew was she needed a break.

Melissa knew where Katherine would be as she said she was going to the lavatory so the first place Melissa thought was the girls toilets. She rushed there whilst taking of her shoes so Melissa could run faster. As she walked in she saw Katherine she had never seen her this upset before even though she hadn't been with her that long this was quit a surprise.
Broken Melissa saw from Katherine face in the mirror her makeup was dripping down her face and she looked like she wanted to break down even more. Melissa didn't want to scare Katherine so she walked slowly up to her and said '' The girls dress looked like it came from a charity shop like her shoes ' Melissa hoped that would make Katherine smile or make her less upset. 'Im sure alexander prefered you than that rat as atleast you have a sence of style unlike that blueberry' All around Katherine there was shattered glass which looked as if it had been broken quit recently. Maybe Katherine broke it Melissa thought. Melissa had jsut noticed Katherine hand was bleeding and ad shards of glass all around it Melissa felt bad as she was to late to stop her from doing that. Melissa heard a hum comeing from Katherine it was quit a happy hum Melissa thought.
Melissa smirked she had a revenge plan set in her head and she knew Katherine would be in once she tells her the plan. As Melissa nervously waited for Katherine to reply she hoped it would make Katherine more happy or at least less sad.

So sorry for the wait!!!
Rose had seen Katherine go into the lavatory, and was very very concerned. She was holding her mask and Eyre's wand in one of her hands, it hovering in front of her stomach. She peeked into the lavatory. "Katherine? Are you okay? She called softly and gently, before scanning the room to find Katherine and another girl, her eyes snapping onto them. The mirror was freshly broken, and one of Katherine's hands was bleeding. She put two and two together- Katherine had been upset enough to punch the mirror?
She glanced from Katherine to the other girl, who she didn't know. "What's wrong?" Rose asked anxiously, her voice lined with genuine concern. She knew something was wrong, but she had no clue what. "Do you want a hug?" If Katherine accepted, Rose would give her a hug, a good one. Hugs helped everything, Rose thought. But what was wrong?
Rose barely knew Katherine. They had met earlier that night. And she hoped that she didn't mind Rose butting in on her person business, even if Rose was truly trying to help. But, several times when she had tried to help, it had backfired in her face and made everything worse.

As katherine looked at the sink clueless of her surroundings a girl came in ,katherine turned quickly to look back at her in shock and cleared any tears not making it look that bad,she came back to her senses quick and noticed her knuckles were bleeding from punching the mirror she noticed it was melissa her roommate she must have followed katherine as melissa spoke about the girl it sounded muffled katherine was getting her senses back she had a straight face and looked back at the mirror she broke then looked back at the ground while a few drops of her blood dripped down to the floor.
Another girl came in she recognised her immediately beautiful ginger hair and gorgeous freckles on her shoulders and face, she came in holding a wand close to her and she asked if katherine was okay,
was katherine okay or was she insane and out of her mind after those words came out of rose, tears filled katherines blue eyes , rose continued asking whats wrong, katherine was too busy to judge anyone who was she to judge when all she was, was a mess.
she also asked katherine is she wanted a hug ,katherine immediately hugged her strongly and carefully and making sure none of the blood touched her,she didn't want to ruin this beautiful goddess, she hugged her strongly for a minute and took back feeling better, She felt numb like she let out everything and here comes the headache part and the pain from her knuckles that she used to punch a mirror but she ignored it and spoke back to rose"No im not okay,Im a mess ", she spoke clearly and in her senses making sure not to scare them she wiped the tears of her cheek and spoke" i've had the worst night you could imagine I had to dance with this stupid JUDGMENTAL NARCISSISTIC BASTARD", she spoke clearly but if someone noticed she sounded broken ,she got her other hand that wasn't bleeding in her hair and continued"all he did was judge me inside his narcissistic head so negatively and used me as a guinea pig to warm up to continue off to other girls,I tried warming up to him maybe he will be nicer or think positive off me but all i did was embarrass myself to be kinder to him and i did confront him but all he did was act like a gentleman to basically shut me up",she paused of for a bit.
She continued"then we separated ,as i was walking away from him a girl who didn't look from hogwarts at all and was wearing a purple dress came to him and said was that your date because you could do better and i could see she was judging me in her head too", she spoke and took a deep breathe"all i got from this ball is being judged so hard and negatively did I really look that bad maybe I looked basic i don't even know anymore",she said while getting tissues that hanged there and dipped it in water to clean off her blood and noticed its gonna need stitching.She got a new piece of tissue and wrapped it around her cut trapping any blood from escaping.she waited for their response but wouldn't be surprised if they judged her she also spoke"oh and I hope you guys dont mind but keep this between us about me crying and this due to family and personal reason my family doesn't really cry in public or show any emotions and want me exactly to be like them its inhuman but i have to i shouldn't have been kind to him too that was also a mistake if my family knew they would get angry at me", she hoped they understood.

She hugged Katherine back, rubbing her back comfortingly. She was honestly kinda surprised she had accepted the hug and confessed that she wasn't okay. Some people couldn't do that. If put in the same situation as Katherine, Rose would take the hug but she wouldn't confess to not being okay. She never wanted to worry anyone, which probably was a horrible habit. Gladly, no blood was rubbed onto Rose, at least as far as she could tell.
She was quiet as Katherine laid out what had happened. Rose scoffed. What kind of person would say that? Of course, they were totally and horribly wrong. Her voice was very serious "Look at me, Katherine. The only way that guy could do better is to treat you like the beautiful sexy queen you are. You hear me?" She said this firmly because she believed in every single word. It wasn't angry kind of firm, it was more of a big sisterly kind of firm. "And you do not look basic, you out-dressed pretty much everyone in that room, including that brat who apparently thinks she's better than you. I can assure you, she's not. Why doesn't she just mind her own business instead of getting worried about what other people are doing?"
Katherine pleaded with them to not tell this to anyone else. Rose glanced at the other girl who she still didn't know. "I won't tell anyone, don't worry," she reassured the younger girl, her voice returning to it's usual gentleness. What kind of family put you down for crying? Especially when you wanted to have fun at a school event and all that happened was bad, horrible things with people judging you. Rose shook her head. "There's nothing wrong with being kind to people." So did Katherine come from one of those snobby purist families who thought they were better than everyone else and treated them like it? If so, how would she treat Rose if she knew that Rose was a half-blood? Horribly? The same? Better?
Rose redirected her attention back to Katherine. "I'm really sorry. That sucks."

As katherine pulled back from rose,she felt roses hands hold her tight and tries to comfort katherine, katherine drew a soft smile while listening to what melissa also said and assured katherine that her secret is safe.
katherine couldn't thank them but she was scared if they knew about her family maybe they might be scared of her because of her dark parents and the plans they got for katherine as they heard there judgments of her parents she responded"thank you, really thank you I don't know how I could ever thank you," she said with a smile.
Katherine then regained her confidence all thanks to rose she knew who she was , she looked at her family ring proudly and thought in her head imma show those idiots who I am although after the commentaries of her parents she responded"ya my parents are quite ...um rich pure blooded purists who don't stand muggle-borns,I sadly have to do as they say and not friend any of them but i simply don't mind half bloods i could friend them i guess and my parents they are dar...",she stopped before saying another word about them being dark wizards and witches she didn't want to scare them.
she responded"enough about them already i wont let them ruin my day well its already half ruined I shall lay my vengeance on both bastards and show them who I am",she said with a smirk looking at melissa then back at rose.she then noticed the wand rose was holding and commented"how rude of me hows your time at the ball rose and that wand doesn't look like the one in your dorm so im guessing eyres but i might be wrong,How was your time?", she said happily but had a small thought to say to rose.

"Yeah, she's right... Of course." Rose was so glad she had been able to help.
She shall lay her vengeance? "I don't think..." In Rose's honest opinion, revenge was the wrong way to go, but this was Katherine, not her. She wasn't about to lecture this girl to leave those people alone. Rose shook her head, smiling. "Never mind, lay your vengeance all you want."
"Yeah, it's Eyre's wand... It's going amazing, thank you for asking," she said. Well, until Anastasia tripped her and Eyre went to go take care of that. But, anyway, she was sure Eyre was fine.
Then Katherine started talking. About Eyre. And how he was such a good guy, and they looked magical. And to hold on with both hands and don't let go. Rose had been haunted by thoughts telling her that she wasn't good enough for Eyre, and that any day now he would realize that he was way out of her league and that he should stop wasting his time. Maybe he had just seen that she had a crush on him and asked her out just to make her happy. There were a million ways that she could imagine it going horribly wrong.
But Katherine was right. You didn't find a guy like this every day.
And then she proceeded to call her both an angel and "the most special and the most beautiful goddess" that she had ever seen. Those words hit hard, and Rose blushed redder than her hair. "Thank you," she whispered, at a loss for any other words. Careful not to smudge the perfect makeup that Katherine had applied to her eyes, Rose wiped the little water that was threatening to spill out of her eyes. "I- I will."
Rose had a rule- no breaking down in front of other people. She didn't care if anyone else did it in front of her, but she would never, under any circumstances, start crying in front of other people. Why? Maybe it was because she didn't want a crybaby reputation. Maybe it was because she didn't trust anyone that much, for any reason. Maybe... maybe it was because she didn't want people pitying her or treating her like she was less than she had been before the breakdown. Either way, Rose had stuck to that rule.
Even though Katherine was pushing it.
"Eventually the boys will come to their senses and they'll realize that they are in the presence of Katherine Labrouder. And then there will be a guy that is almost close enough to your amazingness level and you will find him," Rose said. "I just know it. How could a girl like you not find a good guy?"
"I should probably get back to the ball," Rose told the girls. "If that's okay. Do you wanna come with me?"

As katherine heard roses thanks and all, The way rose acted was quite strange she looked like she wanted to cry but didn't oh well she wasn't going to talk about that, she didn't want to point it out either, she continued talking about katherine will find the one, katherine listened with a smile but deep down in her thought she knew she wont get happiness or that someone nor anyone but its ok she thought, not everyone gets redemption well when she means everyone she means herself but she listened to roses words they were entering one ear then out the other but she smiled and said"I hope so",
She heard melissa cheering and wanting to go to the party both wanted that, they both wanted to celebrate but katherine only wanted to rest but its ok she just needs to get the two bastards to understand its not okay to do that to katherine, then shell see what happens and how this ball is going to end in hell, she spoke "ya sure ok well head out but I think after that imma need to go to the hospital wing its gonna need stitching", she said with a straight face while looking at her knuckles that were starting to bleed again, she got her wand with her as she was about to walk out and she just left her mask there well its time to show her true devil identity, she thought that it was time to show her dark heritage to people well mostly them but was it her true self who knew.
