A Misunderstanding
Serena was fuming. The idiot in front of her broke someone's tooth and the idiot on the bed was okay with this all? Everything seemed so wrong. She wasn't sure who she was angrier at, to be honest. The one who used far too much strength and clearly crossed the line by breaking someone's teeth. The one that could have broken someone's jaw too! Or the other one, who allowed it all to happen and thought it was a good idea. She didn't know the specifics of how they got into this but the entire thing worried her a lot. However, Serena didn't want to admit she was super worried for both of these moronic boys. So instead, her worry came out as anger for them both.
Clutching Siege's shirt tighter, she glared at him. Her jaw clenched shut, her eyes shooting daggers at him. Oh if only looks could kill... And in her hot headed nature, she would have lived a nice and peaceful life. Until he tried to calm her down. The boy moved closer to her. His lips were close to her face, when she heard his voice in her ear.
His words started to sink in. Slowly, her brain registered what he had said. She was drawing attention by making noise, "O- I- Uh-" She started to mutter out in nothing louder than a whisper. Siege's ear was right in front of her face though. He could definitely hear her. Her gaze quickly flickered away from the side of his face to look around the hospital wing. There were other people around. Not many but enough. Ahh!! She should have been more careful! They were all going to get in trouble if someone overheard. Suddenly she realised that Siege was still next to her.
Immediately, Serena's eyes widened. The anger and worry in them quickly replaced by shock. She inhaled sharply. She could feel his breath tickle her face as he spoke. The boy just stood there. Not leaning away. Her chest started to pound. Harder than she knew it could. She was pretty sure he could hear her beating heart right now because that was all she could hear now. His face was so close to hers. The girl froze, completely unaware of what was happening. He didn't move away and her chest was pounding so loudly. What if he overheard it? Suddenly a thought occurred to her: what would everyone else think? They were pretty close to each other right now. They had been standing there for... well, she had no idea, in all honesty. Too long, perhaps. Serena had been lost in thought the entire time. It could have been a second, it could have been a few minutes. She had no sense of time, right now.
She could literally hear him breathing though. "Ahh!" Serena suddenly called out as she took a step back, pushing against him lightly move away from him. She released the hand that had been clutching his shirt away as she stumbled back a little, catching her foot onto the railings on the bed and tripping over her own feet. The real question was, did she manage to let go off his shirt in time?

A Misunderstanding
He was glad that his friend decided to calm down, cause if not...well he didn't know what the hell would happen. He wasn't gonna lay a finger on her, but he certainly isn't up to get caught, at least not this early in the school year. Caught with what you ask? Well caught with a prefect! Who knows what kind of easy trouble you could get int hanging out with a prefect, with the looks and attitudes of Siege.
"You good? We good? Alright I'll tell ya-" Siege would try to confirm, before being abruptly interrupted by an off balance Serena. She was so close to him, that he wasn't expecting anything, she pulled on his shirt, making him lean forward. "What the-" Said Siege as he fell along with Serena. -Crap her head! She's gonna hit!-
Siege would in turn put his hand on the backside of her head, trying to shield it from any damage. Next thing he knew he was on the ground, his hand still behind her head, his face looking directly at hers, and him on top of her.
He could clearly see her face, in fact their noses were probably touching each other's face, it was pretty damn close. Siege being the innocent and ignorant stupid boy that he was had the nerve to speak casually to her.
"Hey you good there? Man that was something wasn't it?" Siege would comment with a tone of silliness and of joking intent. Though keep in mind, he had raised his head a bit more, but he was still atop her. From the outside it must've looked very weird, scandalous even. And definitely gossip worthy...Ahem, I'm looking at you Newspaper folks...Anyways he thought nothing of what had happened, so what if he was on her? He tried to protect her..But will Serena see it that way?

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

A Misunderstanding
Serena's eyes widened as she felt the panic hit her, quickly followed by the feeling of the floor beneath her. She squeezed her eyes shut, expecting her head to impact against the floor as she was unable to stop herself from falling. But she had hit the ground and yet, her head didn't hurt as much as she expected. Slowly opening her eyes, she noticed Siege's face before anything else. In fact, that was pretty much all she could see as his face appeared to be above hers. Those widened eyes suddenly appeared again. Staring into his emerald coloured eyes, Serena could feel her cheeks turning pink. Serena blinked a few more times, letting the information sink in.
"W-wh-" She mumbled out as his words hit her ears. He was joking around, acting all laid back... whilst she lay there?! "Uh-" Serena couldn't formulate sentences properly. Why was he so close to her? It took her a few seconds to realise what had happened. She could feel his hand against the back of her head. It explained why it didn't hurt, "Oh- uh- yeah, f-fine, th-thanks," She mumbled out in reply to his question. Well his first question. In all honesty, she had no idea what to say to his second question. What was something? That was a terrible description of... well whatever this was. Today was a weird day, that's for sure. Everything that happened today was weird.
Ahh! She was still there! Her gaze flickered, trying to not look directly into his eyes. Serena's heart was pounding even faster now. She did not know that was possible but it somehow managed it. "Ah- urm-" Serena struggled to formulate sentences again, which was always fun to see. She wanted to tell him to move so she could get up but couldn't quite the words to say it, sadly. Her cheeks turned red. This looked so much worse than it should have done. She was fully aware now about how bad this looked, which was why she was trying to move away from him in the first place.
Turning her head, she tried to calm her panicked heart down so she could explain her thoughts. It did not help. Instead, she just saw a couple of people in the room. Witness to this moment. Heck, if Darius was still conscious then he could see them too as they were lying next to his bed right now. "Ah!! Siege!" She whispered in a panicked voice, finally finding some strength to speak up, "P-people ar-are looking..." She continued, trying to explain that he needed to move.
Her hand, that had previously held his shirt, was pressed against his chest as he fell on top. Suddenly realising that, she quickly pushed him as hard as she could, though that was not very hard, "Ahh-" She managed to at least turn him off her so she could wriggle out of the awkward position she was in and quickly get up. "Uh- I uh-" Serena couldn't look him in the face. She was so embarrassed right now. "Ihavetogo!" She mumbled out, waving her hands madly trying to indicate the words she was saying, "Uh- look after Darius- bye Darius!" Serena called out to him, though she wasn't sure Darius was even awake. Siege would look after him though, right? Well, the nurse could now...
Serena stumbled a little, walking backwards as she tried to look anywhere but at Siege. "I uh- sorry, I have to go, bye." She continued talking awkwardly, before turning swiftly around and running out of the hospital wing without looking back. Her face was completely red by now and her heart was beating so fast that she thought she was going to die. Was this a panic attack? She had no idea but it felt like what she would imagine a panic attack to feel like... In all honesty though, she was probably just incredibly embarrassed. What if someone saw them and thought... something else?
