distraction PV closed

Aella was wandering through the corridors after just finishing a class nearby she was a little lost in her thoughts and not really paying attention she was just glad class was over she found it so boring, she liked learning spells so she could use them but she hated it when teachers droned on and on which most of them did so she had been zoned out most of the lesson just listening to music and the song was still replaying in her head.

Unluckily the hallways were quite busy with students rushing past, busier than usual. She was brought out of her thoughts when students pushed past her and so she gave a stern look to any student who even brushed past her in the slightest way or if somebody accidentally barged past her she would ‘accidentally’ shove them back, it probably wasn’t the best thing she could do in retaliation but it’s what she decided to do in the moment and she knew it would teach them to look where they were going

As she was almost near the end of the hallway she looked behind as she walked since she heard students whispering something and it made her feel like it was about her. When she did look the right way around some girl bumped into her making her fall backwards onto the floor, she was annoyed but she also knew it was partially her own fault.

Once she had fallen the girl who bumped into her noticed and apologised holding her hand out. Aella took her hand once the girl had turned her headphones off and stood back up.

She heard the same students snickering to each other so she looked behind again and shot them a harsh look which made them stop, she could be quite intimidating when she wanted to be.

Aella looked back at the girl “It’s fine..” she sighed

Her expression softened “Nothing’s broken so that’s good”

Bright blue-green eyes would watch the other person, a smile coming to her face when the reaction appeared to be rather neutral than aggressive or anything. Kit would brush a strand of red hair out of her eyes, tucking it behind her ear. The rest of her long hair had been twisted into two messy buns atop her head, obviously created without much thought or time. But otherwise the girl seemed put together, if only for the fact that she had bumped into someone by not paying attention.

The accent was different from what she was used to, sure that this was a Hogwarts student rather than Ilvermorny, Durmstang, or Beauxbatons. Perhaps it was best to start off with that. "Well, that's good. I'm Kit- uh, first year from Beauxbatons. Say, how do you manage with these stairs? They love to make the day more exciting, apparently." It was light conversation, hoping that the other student wouldn't mind too much. It didn't seem like the nicest thing to do if Kit were to just leave after apologizing.

"Do you like music?" It might've seemed like an out-of-the-blue question to the other. The redhead, however, was internally noting that the music had stopped during the collision, only slowly coming back after she consciously thought about it. That was new.
