Artober Ultimate Smackdown: Ami vs Krita

Just the smallest backstory to this: I currently am using a very free but quite lovely art program called paint.net. Unfortunately, it does not have the greatest variety of tools/brushes, and I want to add more of my own personal touch to my "art". So, I'll be using Artober as an opportunity to get more familiar with Krita and its brushes, settings, and overall capabilities.
