Say Yes ❤
@Caradoc Browne
A bouquet of flowers, large and fragrant peonies bound with a single elastic band in a simple, unmarked milk bottle made of glass waited for the young second year. A display of flowers rarely went unnoticed among young women, curious, jealous and perhaps a little bit hopeful that they were from them. There was something romantic about being left a bundle of blooms, while the logic was truly lacking. Some equated the senseless exertion of finances to equate with a sense of passion. In truth, with a modicum of wealth, the most minor clerical effort to recall 'important' or 'milestone' events, women would find you endearing.
So a simple arrangement of blooms, all the same flower. Large, colorful blossoms ranging from a gentle, playful pink to a vibrant tangerine. He favored the flower for its simple utility. The flowers were colorful, the blooms rather full. The strong scent of the arrangement could easily perfume a room, dedicating a plethora of senses to something so simple and in truth valueless.
The girls that would pass the arrangement that dared take a closer look. Take a literal moment to smell the roses peonies and look for a note would face disappointment despite the fact that that they had no actual reason to expect the flowers to be for them. They were for:
There was a sealed envelope. Well WAS. Some girls were far too curious to leave a letter obviously not for them unread. The letter was a proposal. A proposal for a date to the Ball being held at the school in a matter of days.

Say Yes ❤
Vladimir Athanatos,
I don't know you and I don't expect to know you as you are from this school. It's both very weird and very bold for you to ask a random girl to come to this ball. Anyway, I am not sure if I will actually attend this ball you speak off, my friend Maddie is a far better dancer than I will ever be. Maybe she would be a better dancing partner then? Her name is Madeleine. I'm sure she is easy to find in our group. And she would love a date I think. Perhaps we'll meet in person at the ball then, if you manage to convince Maddie that is.
Good luck at finding a date, sincerely
PS: I like the flowers though, I'm keeping those.

A letter would be waiting for Cassanora outside of the carriages that delivered her to the school early the next morning. Her name was written in large, neat letters in dark blue ink.
Dangerous.
Don't trust.
Your choice.
Every last bit both a truth and a blatant lie. The game starts.
He used his full name and gave her instructions on how to both keep the flowers as well as why she should not. Every last bit was intentional, a psychological manipulation most effective on the teenage mind. You can do something seemingly harmless, but it is not a good idea. Others, authority figures might not like it. A forbidden action. Not that he forbade her, he could never control someone so willful or one would like to think.𝓐 𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓪𝓹𝓹𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓬𝓮𝓻𝓽𝓪𝓲𝓷.
