But" She held up the quill she was currently using "They aren't the ones stuck using tools from the Middle Ages. Has no pureblood heard on pencils? I mean, yes, magic and electricity don't get along, my mom avoids using magic at our main house for that reason, but honestly, some of the things muggles have come up with are actually reasonable things to adopt. Like, why is the wizarding world stuck on the Medieval Castle aesthetic? Lorelei wasn't actually upset with Miranda, but she was spiralling into a mess of a rant at this point

They may have lost information, but they then teach about the efforts to recover said info, while wizards....what? Has anyone actually tried to investigate the situation and learn what we don't know so the school doesn't potentially teach kids wrong information? And poison as medicine is scientifically proven, it just needs to be processed properly. Again, they have to make do without magic and magical plants." Having grown up primarily in the muggle world, Lorelei felt she ought to defend science, even if it had never been her best subject.
