She would be concerned to say the least to learn of Kyle's condition. Lycanthropy was much like a terminal, contagious disease that does worse than kill, it strips one of their humanity, dignity and will. A terrifying prospect. One of the few things a fearless girl like Erin might run from. But she did not know this truth. All she saw was a reckless, dangerous youth, that like her was willing to stir the pot.

There was a goal in instigating this chaos. She knew that ultimately she would not win. That she would end the night physically broken. She was banking on that fact. "I will be blonde again by then," she warned him. "I recommend an escape, I intend to end my evening in St. Mungos." There was a grave tone, less mischievous and more serious. There was more to this than reckless endangerment of herself and her peers.

He would go on to mention his haunts. The abandoned baths and the lakeside. "I--" her voice trailed off after he asked where she could be found. Her first instinct is to lie. Claim the dorms, the normal bathrooms, perhaps the grounds or the classrooms. "I lay with the abysmal darkness beneath the castle in the dungeons," she chose the truth. It was a calculated move in truth, if he went to any place she listed and she was not there, then she would be a liar. Her word could not be trusted because it was unlikely to be true. "I am easier to find jogging the grounds before dawn," she added. Don't search the darkness, he would be nothing but bones if he searched well enough.

"There is too much bullshit here. Avoid the smiley ones," she frowned. Her paranoia shining through. "Be a shame if you got yourself killed before we had our fun."

"I recommend an escape, I intend to end my evening in St. Mungos."

Kyle arched a brow and thought for a few moments. Escape, a plan to end somewhere. That all seemed like the opposite how he operated. Kyle doesn't really make plans, especially not ones involving running away from danger. If trouble started and things got bad, he was the kind who would just stand there and face all of it until he couldn't any longer. in for a penny, in for a pound as they say. Then, he figured out what he could do for his part of the escape plan Erin had in mind.

"I tell you what. I dont do Escape. So if things get hairy, Ill cause some extra damage
and draw attention so you can do whatever it is you need to do. yeah?"

it had been awhile since he had gotten up early to do anything. Back when he was captain of the Quidditch team he often rose before the sun and started working out and practicing. He wanted to be his best and do his best. These days, He sort of moved through the motions. Maybe having an excuse to get out of bed early wouldnt be the worst idea. Besides, jogging might be good now and again.

"There is too much bullshit here. Avoid the smiley ones,"

Kyle chuckled some "The smiley ones are usually the ones I punch in the face or throw in the lake" he normally wouldn't boast of something like that but he felt like if anyone could appreciate that, it would be the girl that sat infront of him now.

OC: Totally missed a post in this thread.

IC:
In the absence of a heart, there was nothing left besides cold logic. The callous weighing of outcomes and their relative cost, some things simply did not have value. She had come to the conclusion that she had no value, she was merely the catalyst.

Kyle claimed he did not need an escape. Unnecessary heroics, check. He is definitely Gryffindor. Something to keep in mind moving forward. She was better acquainted with the Slytherin population, ambition had little to do with being righteous or evil however it is easy for some to place value on traits without context. "Your house suits you it would seem Rook," she remembered his name. Well, his preferred name. "Respectable," she admitted with a nod. It left her thinking, thinking about the sorting hat and what it saw. Saw in her and her housemates. About the common thread that bound them. The why, often tied to their nature.

She gave him an additional warning. Beware of the smiling faces. People lie. People hide their intentions. Because they are weak and full of fear. Because they are dangerous, a blight. A caricature of what they want to be, but really a hollow lie. The languishing truth she wished to pick at and leave open and weeping. "I used to find them harder to hurt," she admitted. A sobering truth. "Even if they deserve it more than most. Tricksters. They grin as they watch you bleed out," and yet there was a time when she preferred the convenient lie. "I envy your resilience." Her eyes darted away, towards the stalls.

She was certain nobody was inside, she had been there for some time before Kyle had arrived. Still, there was a paranoid portion of her brain at work. "Perhaps that is why you have survived so long," either that or his was one of them. He had a rather sizable scar across his face. Unusual really, she would stare longer than was polite.

Kyle nodded slightly as she mentioned how she used to find it harder to hurt people. If Kyle was being honest, he did too at first but that was also a long time ago. His very first fight he got into at around 6 years old and he just kept getting into more and more as time went on. He offered a slight shrug "The way I see it there are two kinds of people. Wolves and Sheep. Sheep are scared, weak, and easily led around or trick. Wolves, Are sharp. They are fighters who take what they want and make anyone who crosses them regret it. So, if you fight a wolf then they need to be stronger than you or they deserve the beating. And sheep...well wolves don't concern themselves with the feelings of sheep." he smirked at her "And you are a wolf if ive ever met one"

it was around this point he noticed she was staring, pretty blatantly at his face scar, and he couldn't really blame her. he had done the same many times. Kyle tapped his scar and gave a knowing look "A gift from a wolf".

He slipped his hands into his pockets "As fun as these toilets are to hang around. I should get moving. We will meet up again soon." he started to turn to leave "To let everyone know the trouble thats coming and arrive together. You have a reputation, and ive got one of my one. Bet we can make a few people wet themselves if they see us together. What do you say?"

She had no idea that "wolf" was a literal rather than metaphorical description for at least one of them. She could understand the kinship he felt with wolves, or so she thought. The belief that she could not be led or conquered. However that was where they ended, what drove her was what she lacked and it would seem that he had that very thing in abundance. It was the sentiment, theirs that drove her. It started with jealousy, as childish and shallow as that was. The haves and the have nots. Vicariously experiencing the novelty of feeling something with the idle hope, nay erroneous belief that one day she would feel the same on her own. What started as a stubborn curiosity became perverted rather quickly as laziness took hold. The jaded youth discovered that what people claim to feel is often non-reflective of their heart's truest intents and that it was easier to elicit anger, jealousy and tears than it was joy or love. That happiness was fleeting, rare and more often than not a lie. It was the wrath and the pain that lingered and filled the void.

Stubborn, she wanted her reward and the crones delivered. The cruelty of children would prove them right and Erin would forfeit her heart on her own. Love and friendship are lies, happiness is fleeting and not worth the effort. "I want the sheep to hurt," a phrase that surprised her to say. The humble truth of the matter was, she did care for the 'sentiments of sheep.' They were not worth loving. They were not worth anything besides what they could give her. A corrupted perversion of a never-pure ideal.

She wanted some sheep to hurt more than others. The ones that hurt her. The ones that took away what was hers. People were gone again, some came back but they went away again. Likely this time, finally into @Quinn Healy's or one of his compatriots' gut. Far from a hero, whatever spark of goodness she had, it was dedicated to useless heroics.

Her idea of a good time seemed to match up with Kyle. She even smiled a bit, perhaps there is a kinship between them. He pointed at his scar, a gift he should have considered returning that gift.

The plan was to arrive together, she nodded. Erin could get behind that. "I will be trying to fit in for once," she admitted. That was why she changed her hair from her signature indigo tresses. "I will be dressed in black," like she was going to a funeral. If she was the main attraction or there to mourn is another question entirely. "Black dress... black mask... blonde hair..." pretty routine, nobody would notice the girl because nothing about her was intended to stand out. "I will be wearing leather fingerless gloves," she concluded after a moment of thought. A defining factor but something to look for since hot blonde really narrows down almost nothing which was oddly enough the point.
