Physical Description: Aideen has brown, slightly wavy hair that reaches her shoulders and brown eyes.

Mental Description: She can be very shy and quiet around strangers, especially when she’s surrounded by a lot of people. However, once she’s comfortable around people, she’s a fiercely loyal and stubborn friend. Aideen can’t stand drama and is more the “tough love”-type, but she is always open to listening to the people close to her. Very patient and more of an observer of her surroundings, she won’t speak up, unless directly spoken to or confronted. Aideen is also more likely to avoid conflicts unless it’s someone dear to her.

Biography: Born and raised in a small fishing village, surrounded by nature and ancient history, Aideen always loved reading and being outside. Her parents loved the quiet, free life in the small muggle town of Belmullet. Her father, Feichín Collingwood, was a painter of moving nature pictures and would go out to fish, during the fishing seasons with their muggle neighbors. Aideen’s mother, Yngvildr Collingwood, would breed and train owlets, which Aideen would be more than happily help with. She was therefore surrounded by magic, but she also lived in close contact with other muggles, which just added to the culture-clash that was her life and history.

When she was enrolled in Belmullet Junior National School, her parents told the teachers about her amazing, yet overactive imagination. How she used to talk about her father’s painting moving or how her mother’s owls were magical, but asked them never to discourage her creativity. After a few years, Aideen picked up on it and ensured her peers that it was all in her own fantasy. Often she would take her peers to her house and they could see that the painting never moved for real, even though Aideen could still see that they did in fact move around. This eventually caused Aideen to drive a wedge between herself and her peers. Although she was always friendly towards them and would often spend time after school with them, as a group, but she never had any close friendships. It didn’t bother her too much, as she would instead spend time in her mother’s owlery, paint with her father, read books or explore the endless fields and ocean by their house.

First Instance of Magic: When she was around 1 year old, Aideen was trying to walk, while in her father’s painting studio. However, she lost balance and knocked over several paintings and buckets of paint. Despite paint getting everywhere, none was on her and she was otherwise completely unharmed. Her father was only excited to see his only daughter’s magic manifest.
