2020, Stage 1 Group E: Hufflepuff vs Slytherin

"Rictusempra!" She wasn't going down without a fight, and a tickling charm would do just fine as revenge for turning her into a snotty, gross, sick mess. Another wipe of her nose with her robes. She'd really have to clean them afterwards. What she would give for her mother's soup right now. Adonis attempted a spell at Willow this time, and she swiftly dodged before being hit by one by Opeila. She was being targeted. Her eyebrows furrowed, looking at Opeila curiously. This wasn't personal. It couldn't be. She hoped it wasn't.

Opeila pressed a sleeve against her nose and raised her wand again. She got distracted once, this time she would not. "Flipendo!" A feeling of satisfaction in her stomach when the spell hit Willow. She didn't hold a grudge, nor did she want the Hufflepuff harmed, but it felt kind of fair after Willow hit her with the Mucus ad Nauseam.
For a second, her gaze met Willow's, that seemed... almost a little unsure?

When this was over, Opeila would have a talk with her for sure. She should have done that months ago.

For a second, May thought that her spell, Incendio, would hit the target fair and square, nevertheless, it missed. But May took this calmly tho. No spell had comed her way-yet. Her eyes flickered around at Willow's way, as she was trying to be hit by both Adonis and Opeila. I exist you know! she wanted to yell, but merely rolled her eyes. Willow was strong. They were strong. And May was sure that someday they would hit someone. Her eyes flickered around to her next opponent as she conjured the spell.

Adonis didn’t dare waste any time and instantly cried out the words, “Flipendo!” with a quick and aggressive flick of his wand, aiming the spell towards Willow once again. Except his aim was completely off and not even within a second of casting that, he was hit with a spell of her own. Almost instantly, Adonis’ hands grabbed at his abdomen as he was forced into a fit of laughter. The forced joyous expression on his face from laughing was being fought against one of concentration and seriousness, while trying to go against it. Eventually, he managed to find an opening and cast another spell at his target.

The spells from the Slytherin both flew at Willow once again. It was honestly quite impressive; even with her nose running like mad, the Hufflepuff still managed to side step Adonis' Flipendo, preventing her from taking a large brunt of the damage. Unfortunetly, she wasn't quite quick enough for Opeila's Rictusempra. Perhaps it was retaliation for her teammate who was still giggling away, but the beam made contact with Willow just after the Bagder's spell left her wand. She doubled over laughing as an invisible source ran up her sides.

Subsequently, both Hufflepuff spells hurtled towards Opeila. The Snake was fast enough to widely dodge Willow's Flipendo, but doing so brought her in May's line of fire. Maybe by luck, maybe by immense skill, she narrowly avoided the Obscuro whizzing by her head. As the dust settled once more, the stage was set for another round of spells.

Willow wasn't doing too hot. She felt absolutely dreadful from the Curse of the Bogies, and it was making it harder to focus on the duel. Barely being able to side step another spell from Adonis, she was hit with another one from Opeila that made her burst into laughter. Through intense giggles of pain she attempted to cast back at her, "Flipendo!" But her spell missed again. She had brief flashbacks of feelings that were all too familiar from the last Quidditch game she played. Failing her team over and over. But not this time. She wouldn't let herself get down. There was still time to come back, and if they lost, she would just have to practice. Through the laughs and snot, she prepared herself for the next round.

Opeila saw Willow cast, as she had been focusing on her, but May's spell came unexpectedly. The Slytherin only avoided that one, stumbling backwards over her own feet. When she fell on the floor, for a moment her head was just spinning in circles. Again she wiped her nose. Damn curse.
It didn't matter. It all didn't matter as long as she didn't get hit again, she thought getting back on her feet. Although, the longer the duel lasted, the more sure she got, that she would pass out sometime the next minutes.

Her own spell still hit the target, she noticed quite proud. The feeling that it was wrong to cast spells at her friend completely faded. This was a sport that both of them signed up for, knowing what they were signing up for.

Adonis' spells did not hit. He was on the floor, still very affected by the tickling charm he was hit with. Come on...

Her first spell had missed. Fine.

Her nest spell had missed. No!

Her eyes were widening as she looked at Opeila, then at her walnut wand, wondering what was happening. Well, that girl was on fire! She had her nose running wild and had dodged not one, but two of her spell's. Her eyes darted towards Willow who was worst than ever, her nose, like Opeila was running wild and was bursting with laughter. For a second she wanted to help her, but her eyes darted again towards the Slytherins. Her next move would maybe work.

It was safe to say that Adonis was starting to get pissed off at this match. He wasn't getting his way with his aim despite successfully casting all of them so far and he certainly didn't like the fact that he was under a spell of uncontrollable laughter. All of this was like a tease to him. Donnie usually had much better aim, but apparently today was not his day with such marksmanship. "Oh, come on!" Don shouted in anger after missing the Knockback Jinx aimed at Willow. Whatever. He had what was coming next to worry about. The Slytherin could just only pray that he would land this next time around.

May would opt for the same spell, but something went wrong, whether it was her incantation or wand movement, ribbons of fabric would not spring from her wand. Willow on the other hand would choose a more offensive spell that her counterpart but through her snot and tickles, the red flames barely missed her target. Adonis and Opeila would aim their spells at poor May. Despite the tickles, his spell casting was impressive and the hufflepuffs wand would snap out of her grasp. Opeila was also unsuccessful at hitting her target.
