Focus on the Cards
That particular evening it had been a little less chilly than the past few days so Alina opened up the window to allow the gentlest of breezes to come through. A breeze that did not blow out the lit candles or disturb the colorful fabric hung all around to create a sense of peace, calmness, and welcomeness. She went to the small table to the left of the entrance to the Classroom and poured herself a lemonade and placed a lemon square on a napkin for herself.Name: @Damion White

Then she took a look at who would be her first for that day. Damion White, Ravenclaw. She didn't know Damion and wasn't sure if she had ever seen him but what she did know about the Second Year Ravenclaw was that he was a good friend of her boyfriend's, Logan. It was rather sweet that he was looking to maybe find a relationship. She knew lots of girls. Then again, what advice was she to give about love and relationships? None. It was best to keep her mouth shut and let the cards do the talking to Damion.
Without further hesitation she opened up the door and poked out her head. "Damion White?" she asked with a smile, eager to meet her boy's friend. "Welcome to the First Annual Tarot Card Readings by Alina. I'm Alina, Alina Rosier. Please sign at the bottom," and she handed him a piece of paper as she welcomed him into the room. It read:

It really wasn't a contract for any reason other than to be thorough. If anyone knew Alina Rosier, they knew she did things ALL OUT and as complete and elaborately as she could. This was no different. "Please help yourself to some tea or lemonade, some candies or some pastries," she said and picked up her napkin with her lemon square on it and her lemonade and carried them over to the middle of the wooden floor where she had blankets, cushions, and pillows set up for comfort. She then took a bite of her lemon square before picking up the deck of cards and began shuffling. "We will begin when you're ready."

Focus on the Cards
Damion had thought it would be fun to have someone read his tarot cards. He had not thought much about this but he wanted to get to know more about his cards. What the cards held for his future? He was not sure who the girl was. He had not heard about her. But he was still going to go through with this, He was happy to have this opportunity to have his card read.
Damion was ready for this. A new day! A new hope! He thought. He walked to the classroom and waited to be called out. He was eager for this. He had a friend, Dylan he was not sure how he felt about him. He was not sure whether he had a crush on Serena Bowers. This whole thing was very confusing. He wanted the cards to show him the way to be honest. Let the card do all the talking...
Damion almost jumped a little as he heard his name being called out. "Um.. yeah! that would be me." he said as he walked to her. He read the paper that she had handed him. Taking a quill, well after reading it properly, he signed the paper. "there you go!" He handed her the paper back. "Nice of you to read my cards." He said smiling.

Focus on the Cards

"Okay, so now...I'll spread out the cards and you'll hand some to me one by one. For this particular spread we will be needing six cards total." She made sure that they were arranged in such a way he had opportunity to grab any of the cards. She then laid out two closest to him near each other, three in a row in the middle, and one closest to her.
She took a moment to scan over the cards that rested before her, to get a feel for them and how maybe they would interact before she began her reading.
"This first card," she pointed to the one that would be near him and on his right, "is the Six of Swords. This card can indicate a period of healing. If you've had any trust issues in the past of any kind that have affected any sort of relationship, now you are ready to move on. You can allow a healthy relationship to come into your life."
Then there was the next card. "The Magician indicates now is a great time to meet someone new. Your partner will be serious about you, have good intentions, and will treat you well." And maybe with the upcoming Fall Ball, there was opportunity to ask someone.
She now began with the cards in the middle row. "When the Knight of Swords appears in reverse and you're looking for love, this is a signal to keep your eyes open and try to look beyond the surface when you meet prospective partners. And keep your eyes open because the person may be there, right under your nose."
She pointed to the middle card, realizing that all the cards in that row were in reverse, meaning pointed toward him instead of her. This wasn't a bad thing, just meant she interpreted it a different way. "The Four of Cups says you should find time thinking about what and who you really and truly need in your life. It may not be what you expected."
She then pointed to The Moon card. "Take a break from other relationships if you need to so that you're not ignoring your intuition. Be sure to treat your lover like a friend."
There was one more card left, the one closest to her. "With the reversed Five of Cups, you are beginning to realize you can have a happy and meaningful love relationship. You don't have to worry about the outside opinion of others. Trust your instincts."
And that's what the cards told her. She didn't know if any of that would really help. "I think that's about it," she shrugged. "Hopefully some of it was helpful. I do know that with the dance coming up, finding a date should be relatively easy. You've got to snag them early though. Plus, I don't know if Logan told you but I'm a rather excellent dance instructor if you should need one."
