History

Althea was born into a loving, small family living in a flat in London . Her mother, a pureblood witch had defied longstanding tradition to marry her father, an ordinary muggle. This apperantly had caused a fuss in her mothers family, and ended with her mother being disowned. Due to this, the only family member from her mom´s side that Althea knows is her uncle. Even so, her mother remained an optimistic person, and from an early age taught Althea all about the wizarding world.
Althea has a younger sister who is four years younger named Lucy. At the begining, Althea was terribly jealous of the new human living within her home and taking all the attention, but throughout the years the two learned to coexist.
Her mother, a proud animal lover, regularly brought new animals home to foster, and one day, brought a large shaggy furred dog named home for the weekend. As soon as Althea took a look at this creature, she fell in love with it, and over the weekend conviced her mother to keep the dog. Ever since that fateful day, has been a proud member of the Whitecaster family, and Althea´s best friend.
Prior to Hogwarts, Althea was homeschooled by her mother and thus has never really had a large friend group. When Althea was around five, her father gifted her a colouring book and a pack of coloured pencils, and Althea was in love. From then on, the small girl could be found drawing or colouring anytime she was bored.
Althea´s first expirience with magic was on a cold autumn day when she was six. The girl was coloring a page while sitting on her balcony, and a gust of wind blew one of her pencils off the railing. Upset and frusterated, Althea turned to storm back inside but before she could even take a step, the pencil flew right back into her hand, fitting snugly in her palm.

Appearance

Althea is a rather prettỳ young girl, with bright brown eyes and thick brown hair, reaching down to her mid-waist. She usually keeps her hair in a simple ponytail or a casual braid, although if Althea is busy she lets it down. The girl has a slim, atheltic build, but is rather short for her age. Althea has pale, seemingly blemishless skin, and is seemingly always clutching a sketchbook with a pencil balanced perfectly behind her ear. She has circular glasses that rest on the bridge of her nose. Althea´s ears are pierced but Althea often forgets to put earrings in, and she has a ring on her finger of snake, in honor of being sorted into Slytherin.
When not in Hogwarts robes, Althea´s aesthetic can best be described as dark acadamia, with lots of tan colored clothing and checkered patterns.

Personality

Althea immedietly presents herself as an cunning person. Her personality shifts depending on the person she is speaking to, and she strives to make as many people as possible comfortable in her presense. A true Slytherin, Althea is quite ambitious, and once she finds a goal, will stop at nothing to achieve it. She doesn´t do direct confrontation, and instead prefers to indirectly attempt to make another person´s life worse. Althea is impressively loyal to those she cares about, but that loyalty is not easy to find one the target of. However, she is very much not brave, and the second something that could be dangerous occurs, Althea is running the opposite direction. She tends to bottle up her feelings, and when they eventually explode, it can be intense.
