Aurelia was born into a pureblood family on the 18th of December on the Isle of Wight in her family's huge manor. Her parents were strong supporters of Voldemort and extremely strict with her, although they never actually physically hurt her. Her family was extremely small, owing to the fact it was a family tradition to have only one child. The only relatives she had that were still alive were her mother, father, and grandmother.
Ever since she was five years of age she was made to look after her grandmother, who was very picky and found fault with absolutely everything, but despite that Aurelia got on better with her than with her parents. Her first instance of accidental magic was when she was trying to get a tin of chocolate down from a high shelf, she tried and tried but was unable to reach, then suddenly it fell off the shelf for no reason, and she caught it. Her parents walked in and saw it happen and were extremely pleased, her grandmother couldn't of been more proud. The only education she was given was lessons on how to read and write by her grandmother. She never spoke to anyone her own age and had no friends, people thought she was strange as she never joined in with other children. She would just stand from a distance watching with no expression. When she got her Hogwarts letter her parents were really pleased, telling her that after she finished Hogwarts she would be able to come back home and help them stamp out muggle-borns for good. Despite being old enough to go to Hogwarts, Aurelia didn't want to. She wanted to stay with her grandmother, but when she told her parents this they just said, "Oh don't worry about that silly old hag, she'll be dead soon." This did not have the effect her parents intended, it just put her off Hogwarts even more, she didn't want her grandmother to die while she was away. But in the end, her parents forced her to go. When she arrived she was sorted into Slytherin like her parents and grandmother.
