Unfortunately it seemed the young Lion had indeed let his nerves get the better of him. As he stammered out his incantation he waved his wand incorrectly, and his thick accent caused him to fumble the word.

His wand sparked and he felt a burning sting against the palm of his hand, almost making him drop it to the ground. He didn't have much time to even think about it before a shot from his opponent struck him directly in the chest. "Ow ow ow ow!" He clutched his chest, trying to suck down the pain as an unexpected shot came flying towards him, he just barely managed to duck underneath it.

"Studdy on noo Ullec, didnae rulise yeh were oot tah ge' meh too!" He remarked in a joking tone with his teammate, giving him a teasing wink to show that there was no harm done.

He looked towards the girl as she taunted them and smirked slightly, raising his wand again. "Ull doo meh best! Unny spo' yeh wan' meh teh eem fer?" He asked her.

Within no time, the second round had begun. Spells flew across the room as the opponents attempted to hit each other, yet again. Both teams seemed to have a similar strategy in mind as they all used the same spell, the Knockback Jinx, and both teams aimed their spells at only one person on the other team. Their strategy was clear: trying to eliminate one of the opponents. Unfortunately, not everything went as planned. Both Gryffindor boys aimed their spells at Amara. While Amara deftly evaded AJ's jinx, she was unable to avoid Alec's and was hit by the force of the spell. As both Henry and Amara aimed their spells toward AJ, the Gryffindor was able to evade Amara's spell but not Henry's and was hit yet again by a Knockback Jinx. Amadea was amazed that he was able to take so many hits and still stay standing, but somehow he had. The duel would continue on.

Amara stumbled back as the spell hit her and bit back a curse as her spell just missed AJ.

"Damn it Knight. Could you focus on hitting spells instead of attempting to insult me?"

Regaining her breath after taking the brunt of the spell, Amara sends a menacing smirk towards her opponents. Have fun with this one boys.

Henry smiled to himself as he succeeded to hit AJ with his spell but was also wondering how many times the gryffindor captain could take before he fell but anyway, he couldn't think to much on the fact when he heard Amara speak up and blame him for something that he didn't do.

" Maybe you should learn how to aim Dragamior instead of focusing on blaming others for your mistakes,"

Henry shot the girl a smirk before holding his wand at the ready and mentioning to Amara again " also while your at it, learn how to evade spells and find a strategy for Merlin's stake instead of saying the same spell repeatedly," Henry then saw a opening as he looked at both of his opponents and let his mind focus on his next spell.

AJ was taking quite the hit. This wasn't good. Alec blamed bad luck. Or for lack of better words. His bad luck. Alec swore it was following him. And it was contagious as well. People always seemed to get hurt in Alec's presence. Usually not because of him. But there were certain occasions. The boy wasn't a complete saint. I mean Alec kept always bringing up the whole locking his sort of enemy outside the house incident. Mostly because Alec still felt really bad about it. And really guilty. It's fine, though. Alec needed to focus on this, anyway. And so he decided to do so. Still while not speaking much more than a word to the other team. Words didn't seem needed right now.

Round three had begun and Amadea held her breath as the spells flew back and forth. AJ, seeming as though he was trying to recover from all of his hits did not cast. Alec, however, was able to get his spell to land on Amara. Amadea fought the urge to jump as she watched the Fire-Making Spell find its mark - she had a lot of bad memories associated with fire and she was glad it was Amara and not her standing up there taking the hit. Luckily, Amara did not remain aflame and would not suffer any more damage than the initial hit. Despite her hit she was able to cast a spell toward AJ, the final spell that finally knocked the boy out. The force of the Knockback Jinx caused him to stumble back and eventually fall over, unconscious. Amadea wanted to immediately run over to help him but the duel was still going on. She couldn't interrupt. Amadea hoped that AJ's teammate would be able to put up a fight, but it was now two versus one and Amadea could tell who had the clear upper hand in this duel. Henry had also tried to cast his spell toward AJ but the spell had backfired, leaving him with the effects instead. Even though this duel seemed to have a fairly clear end, Amadea knew that anything could happen. She was excited to see who would come out victorious.

Henry watched Amara's spell hit and knocked AJ out, only one left that won't be so bad. Henry then felt his own spell backfire on his as he flipped backward and landed on his stomach. Henry threw his head back to blow the hair off his face just in time to watch Alex cast incendio at Amara and she didn't even move! Henry got up and rushed back to his spot as he pointed his wand at Alec before glancing over at Amara.

" Are you trying to get hit Dragamior or are you just to draft to move out of the way. And while your at it why don't use another spell for once or does your spell capabilities only reach to the knockback jinx."

Henry shot over to Amara before looking back at his one opponent as a hundred strategies went through his mind finding the pro and cons in each until he settled on one. Before continuing his stagey he glanced over at Amara as he spoke " try to be at least a minuscule of help Dragamior or are you not even incapable of that to."

A hiss escapes the blonde duelist as the flames lick at her. Good god, she is not a Hufflepuff, she should not be on fire. Thankfully, a quick movement on her part caused the flame to quickly extinguish. Casting her spell, a satisfied smirk falls over her face as one of her opponents is knocked out."Shut the hell up Knight, I do not need to listen to your whining." Then, with a glare towards her last standing opponent she shakes her head softly, "Oh love, you should not have done that."

Did Alec feel terrible for AJ? Yes, very much so. Did Alec also feel terrible for himself? Yes. Look, Alec was in some deep trouble now. There were two people. Both against him. Two.. And it was not very likely that this was going to go well. Well, it's never very likely anything ever goes well.. So there may be a better needed example for that. Alec let out a small breathy sigh. His attempt would most likely end with terrible results. But at least he could say he tried. And you know. That seemed to be good enough for Alec. Yeah um.. It'd probably be back to the books for Alec after this. On the bight side he'd probably have quite some motivation to do better after this.
