After Starlee had yelled her honest thoughts out at the taunting Slytherin boy, she heard someone else yell at her. "That is the spirit, lass," they said while chuckling at Starlee. She turned to see it was that super cool looking purple-haired person from earlier, and Starlee felt even more validated and enthused about their team. They just had to win this! She smiled back at the purple-hair.

And that was when they finally gained a square back from the professors. They had actually done it. Starlee couldn't help but let out a squeal of excitement, and turned to Tina, jumping around a little and saying "Tina, Tina, Tina! We finally got one! Maybe we can win this!" finally letting her honest thoughts that the professors were certainly going to beat them with no issues.

It also seemed that the taunting Slytherin boy just wasn't going to stop. He continued yelling at over at the professors and Starlee continued to sit by idly as they planned their attempted attack on them to try to weaken them. The person that Starlee now knew to be the divination professor yelled back at them, echoing Starlee's thoughts exactly. "You're turning your allies against you!" Starlee really didn't want to see what the two Slytherin boys would end up doing... but that didn't mean she wouldn't stop pulling for her team. She was here to win, after all.

Finally the students had won. Nell was gratified with their success and then remembered to keep on pulling the old rope. Whether they won or not, Nell wanted to make the very most of it all. She was getting tired though, and she couldn’t deny that. Pulling on that rope had been more physical activity that Nell had probably done in her life. It could be assumed that she was lazy or something, but it was just too tiring for her. She shifted her focus back to the current events. It wasn’t good to dwell on the past. That was something Nell was quite aware of, but didn’t really live by. She sighed and glanced around. Everyone seemed to be putting quite a lot of effort in. Nell herself didn’t expect to be doing that much, but, she did anyways. What would be the consequences? Either the student team would win and Nell’s arms would be killing her tomorrow, or the student team would lose and her arms would be killing her tomorrow. No matter the outcome, her arms would be killing her tomorrow. No escaping that aspect. She kept pulling, hoping no on on the student team would fall like she and a few others had. Oh, how she hoped.

Perhaps of what Henry done, it was fruitful. His taunts towards the professors side, resulting another gain of square for the students' side. Although they really want to win this competition, with how Henry taunts the professors it is more than Cash could take.

"Tone down the taunts, mate"Cash feel like a bile start rising from how far Henry hurled his friendly banter for the professors' side. Their arms are burning, sweat starting to form and trickling down on the green eyes face. Their purple hair stick to their forehead.

Cash smiled towards Henry when their housemate commented on the professors whose start dropping. "Yeah,"They said. "We could definitely win this thing"Cash stated to both Caelan and Henry. When the students side win another round the young blonde that stand in front of Caelan's start talking to her friend.

Cash dare to assumed both of them are best friends. The excitement of meeting a person (or people) that could be a potential friends for life bring warmth to the green eyes heart. The bond that both of the younger students have, reminded them of what the second year Serpent once had with their former best friend.

Perhaps one day Cash could gain that friendship back. The purple haired shook their head to bring themselves back to the reality when Caelan mentioned that he does not mind hexed the Keeper of Keys. Cash nodded their head at the snippet of what Caelan told Henry.

The purple hair avert their attention to the professors's side. "Alright! lads and lasses, time to pull with all your might"They shouted. "Somos mas fuertes juntos!"Cash let their mother language out.

"We definitely stronger together"Cash translated it. "Dig your heels to the ground, steady your stance and PULL!!!!"Cash gripped the rough looking rope with both of their hands until their knuckles turned white and tugged the rope harder.

The students had been gaining ground, Doc noticed in his surprise. Maybe he needed to start paying actual attention to the game instead of having a bit too much fun with the people he knew. Gripping the rope firmly he tugged the best he could (we'll see). The thought came up in his mind to perhaps cut the rope and cause a hilarious scene of seeing the students tumbled into each other like domino stones, but in the end he would opt for fair play. He would never hear the end of his little trick from a certain someone. Having been on the receiving end of her scolding, he knew better this time.

The game was getting tiresome though, he would enjoy some nice tea or hot chocolate after this. He reminded himself of the paperwork back in his office, causing his face to twitch in a horrified grimace. Or maybe he would just try and make this game last a little longer. He could almost feel responsibility staring at him from the sides. It was almost more dreadful than having to encounter hags. A shiver ran down his spine as he remembered the events of the summer. Maybe that had been an exaggeration. Just a bit.

Hjørdis silently grumbled in her own mind as she was told she was letting the team down by the Hufflepuff Head of House and mocked. Why did she have to do this?! But Miss Procoppio had a much better tactic in mind. Bribing her with things that she might actually like. Huh. She had no intention of taking Ami up on her offer to paint her nails or do her hair - perhaps because she would not let anyone touch her hair - but it was sweet of her to try and motivate her nonetheless. Nails... Perhaps she could take her up on that. There was less chance of things going badly wrong there and Hjørdis could always redo it if she hated it afterwards. She just wanted to avoid someone putting knots in her hair.

Her interest perked when the professor continued to speak though. Darnit, Doc. He had played a good hand. Silencing him for an entire day? That was certainly like a dream come true. Though, did the man even know how to stay silent for that long? She felt like it would be far more amusing just watching him try to stay quiet for so long and then failing. He would probably just have to leave the room, go sing outside and then return every so often, "Are you even capable of holding up that deal?" She asked him, with a quirked eyebrow, "Alright, darnit, PULL." She encouraged her team - just to secure a silenced Browne and nail painting time with Procoppio.

"Browne, I swear to humanity, if you don't try after that deal..." She replied, narrowing her eyes as he seemed to not be pulling with all of his strength anymore. If he gave up or did not pull with every ounce of his strength after making a deal to stay silent and they lost because of his lack of trying - or "throwing the game to avoid keeping up his end of the bargain", she would flipendo him right into the lake.

Wow... Ami was actually getting a little tired from this whole tugging ordeal, which seriously surprised her. Sure, she was ripped as hell, but Hogwarts didn't necessarily offer gym classes or a weight room for students to stay in shape. Quidditch helped a little bit, but still- she was going to feel this when she woke up tomorrow. Maybe she should petition for a mandatory gym class...?

Ami couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of her Head of House slipping and falling on his butt, though. Had it rained last night? She couldn't really understand why everyone was slipping and falling... "Professor," she said, grinning wolfishly, "Your pants are... brown," she informed him solemnly, grinning at Professor Jensen with another grin. Her face brightened as she decided to take her up on her bargain, although Caradoc's offer to finally shut up for a day probably helped her case.

"Don't worry," Ami said confidently glancing at Browne with a (respectful) glare. "A certain badger asked him to put in his all, and that certain badger has access to glitter." Was she- was she really threatening to glitter-bomb Professor Browne's office... again? Apparently, her big fat mouth just really wanted to land her the first detention of her fourth year.

Turning back to the rest of the professor team, Ami yelled, "Heave, ho, comraderies! These students don't have nothing on us!"

The school caretaker took a step forward. Huh. Marcus was still not impressed by the kids on the other end of the rope. That was clearly a fluke, and he was going to prove it with the next big tug he gave on the rope. He looked to the others on his team, wondering if they were still giving it their all or if they were growing tired of this silly game as well.

As he gave his next tug, Marcus thought back to why he had joined it in the first place. If anyone asked, he would cite Browne as the reason he had come today. Apparently the team needed him, but honestly he could have made some sort of excuse as to why he couldn't come. But maybe Marcus was making a subconscious effort to be a little bit more approachable to the students by participating in their little field day... Or maybe (and more likely) he had been excited to participate in a game of strength - a game he would surely win.

"Let's end this already! Pull!" he said to the professors in front of and behind himself. The strong young girl student that had joined their team was a big help as well, and she was probably the most energized one on the team. She continued to shout words of encouragement, and her follow-through of giving strong pulls were impressing the man. Her name was Amis or something like that - if he had heard Browne and DuPont correctly. Marcus would keep an eye out for her in future.

It was obvious that the students were giving up, many of them had dropped out of pulling and left the game completely. The Professors seemed to be renewed with strength from the last win from the students pulling even harder than they were before. It was obvious however, that Ami was actually pulling most of the weight on that team. Willow wasn't giving up, continuing to yell over the cross talk from the team, the snide marks between students, trying to lead them to victory. It was no use as she slowly felt them losing the ground that they had just pulled. Willow had vastly underestimated what she had deemed as decaying strength on the other side. They were their professors, their heads of houses, their caretakers. They obviously had to be strong to protect them and this school. This would be the last time that she underestimated them.

Everyone seemed to be growing tired, their bodies tired and they would probably be aching the next day. Finally, she dropped the rope. "I'm calling it." She bounced over to the middle, her arms still tired from all the pulling. "Congratulations to the professors! We were absolutely no match for you." Despite losing, her smile was bright. "Thank you to everyone who came out to support Ami and I today. We honestly didn't expect this many people and we are just... so happy that it turned out to be an amazing day." She looked around, not really knowing what to say. "Uh... I don't really know how to end this... but me and Ami have to take the rope back to the castle... so... Feel free to just... let go." She moved to start folding up the rope to make it easier to carry between the two of them. It was a successful event, and a fun day. She couldn't have asked for more.

Caradoc was in the midst of pulling when he saw Willow's hand reach up and noticed her yelling. "Hold up everyone!". As he gently let go of the rope, he stepped away and towards the young Hufflepuff. After she finished explaining he went to stand next to her and sigh with a soft smirk on his face. "You just signed my doom Willow." He whispered as he locked his eyes with her. Though there was no anger or annoyance. "Just made a deal with Jensen that if she pulled with, and we won, I'd shut up for a day. I'll never hear the end of this..." He went quiet for just a second before he burst out in a chuckle.

"Anyway, you did great today Willow. And Ami too, of course. I'm happy to see more of you two in scenarios like this." He looked over to the students that were left on their end. "Don't worry about those that left, focus on the many that stayed and enjoyed themselves. If you managed to even make one person's day with this, you've succeeded. And you already made mine." He winked as he placed his hand on her shoulder.

"Now, I best get out of here before Jensen hexes me with something that really makes me shut up." He offered the young badger a wink as he looked down and smiled. Doc would look behind him and wait for his window of Nora not looking at him. Once she blinked, or looked away, he would cast the disillusionment charm on himself and get the hell out of here. Starlee again pulled with the fire of a thousand suns, but they managed to lose back the square they had just gained. And that was of course when Willow called the game over. Starlee was rather irritated, but her second-place win from earlier caused her to keep her cool. She was justifiably irritated at those who decided to just sit there, but she wasn't one to speak out and instigate fights. However, she was also secretly happy that the two Slytherin boys next to her would not be able to enact their plan of sabotaging the professor's team. She really just couldn't see their attempt going well in any way, whether it be detention for the two of them or worse... what about accidental spells thrown their way? She hoped the teachers would have a good aim, but who knew honestly. Another reason she was truly glad it was over, even if they hadn't won.

Starlee then proceeded to drop the rope and turned to Tina. She said "Well, at least we managed to gain one square on the teachers. Also... we managed to do well earlier! So... you ready to leave? I really wanna open up our frogs now! Wanna go to the Great Hall? I'll meet you there!" she asked, the excitement clear in her eyes. It was then she was off, dashing quickly away back to the castle to get her frogs that she had previously stashed in the common room.
