A Train Wreck
Aella listened intently as Adler told his story, she noticed as he spoke he kept taking a few deep breaths and occasionally fiddling with his hair as he talked. Aella appreciated him trying to take the topic off families and blood status in the wizarding world, she guessed he had noticed her get uncomfortable with the situation and this was his way of trying to be comforting it slightly worked she still felt guilty and even more so when he was being very kind to her because she knew her family wouldn’t do the same and therefore she shouldn’t but she mainly just appreciated the gesture.
When he chuckled it made her laugh a little too, he had that type of laugh the type where it makes you want to laugh along with him even if you weren’t amused by what was said.
Aldor finished telling his story and Aella thought about the things he said, she related to him she never had friends back home either and she hoped Hogwarts would be different since at home the only friends she had were other pure-blooded kids she was forced to be friends with and they all sucked. She also knew the struggle of not being took seriously by adults or seen as weaker because of her age or how she reacted to certain situations for example getting scared of a spider wasn’t acceptable in her house even though it’s a perfectly reasonable fear.
“Thank you” Aella said looking at him she wasn’t sure what else to say to that story and she wasn’t sure if she was thanking him for telling a personal story or for changing the subject, both she guessed.
She did feel quite bad for him and also amused by parts of the story. Aella wasn’t good at the whole comforting thing she never had been, how was she supposed to know how to comfort people if she had never been shown it.
“Even if we’re not in the same house that shouldn’t matter right?” She wondered asking everyone

Aldor would think for a minute, not really sure why the girl thanked him, he simply nodded, smilling like he always did, until the silence was once again broken by Aella, who asked whether it should matter if they are all in different houses. He thought that was actually a really good question, yet, it was also one that scared him.
He would've preffered being around them all the time, but he could get used to seeing them only in his free time, it was not idea that amused him, but he could work something out.
''I guess it would not realy matter, as long as we can- see each other often- unless uh, one of you decides to stay away from the group of course, I guess that would also be fine- well not fine but you know what I mean, you are free to choose your own path- ''
Aldor would stay quiet once again, he did not want to show it, but it was obvious he was nervous about this, being away from home, with no one else but himself seemed like a hard thing to do, for that same reason he felt like he did not want to be away from this kind strangers, yet, everything could change quickly.
