The Violin cries, the Piano doesn't
[font=Times New Roman]
She has started playing depressing songs. Faded by Alan Walker, Schindler's List, Ave Maria, it was most likely she was missing her cousin, who she would practice for hours with, remembering his cello's pairing with her violin, making the song more beautiful. Practicing arpeggios and seeing who could play the scales faster, she missed having competition. Schindler's List just brought back so many memories. When she first got her violin, she remembered shouting, "I want to learn Schindler's List so I can play it by grandmother's and grandfather's grave because they escaped the Holocaust, right daddy?" she remembers his smile as he payed for the violin. She also remembered her cousin, how Lyle would make her practice her Major and minor scales over and over and over again. How they would laugh when she would play the most highest pitch note while he on his cello tried to get as high as she could, but was never successful at surpassing the loud, high-pitched, cry of her violin.
She decided to learn the violin since she was tired of the piano's bland sound. It wouldn't cry for her when she was sad, and it wouldn't jump for her when she was happy. She had learned Shubert's Impromptu No. 4 Op. 90 and Haydn's sonatas but it didn't help her.
She picked up her violin after a good five minutes of thinking, she started with the sad, long cries of Schindler's list. It's beauty, imagining her father piano introduction and playing the beginning notes of the piece, adding the background as her violin painted the scene. Imagining some more, remembering how everyone would watch her, expressing her feelings however she could. Nobody ever regretted paying the great sum of money, since they heard the most beautiful piece, it would seem strange to regret it. She missed everyone, and everything.

The Violin cries, the Piano doesn't
To escape from his worries and troubles Henry would more than likely be outside and by the black lake, if he wasn't there then those who know him would check the library or charms classroom since the twelve year old boy was almost always there to but when he wasn't that's when his friends who be puzzled on where the boy could be. That day was what happen since his mind was isolated on his hidden life and family which worsened his anxiety and throughout the day he could feel a attack coming on so Henry changed into his casual clothes before grabbing his violin case and heading to the rehearsal room.
The rehearsal room was a place where hardly others would be which explains why he would go there, Henry also even though his father forced him to learn the violin still enjoyed playing it and music was definitely one thing that took his mind off everything so as Henry stepped into the rehearsal room with case in hand, he expected to be alone and get lost in the music but instead he found another with a violin playing a song that Henry recognized as Schindler's list, it was sort of depressing but the boy learned how to play it regardless.
Henry waited for her to finished the piece as he took a few more steps inside the room and said "Schindler's list, interesting choice but always a classic to play," Henry smiled at the girl as he never met anyone else who played violin before as he spoke again " you play violin to? I don't think I met anyone else at Hogwarts that also played."

Weirdly Meeting and Striking a Conversation with @Henry Knight
[font=times new roman]
The music just took her mind of most things. She was constantly criticized for not being able to "see" the music. She could feel it and hear it, but not much more than that. It was as if she was blind to the beauty of the music. She wasn't, but of course, the world spins on an axis. Axis, axis, axis, blah, blah, blah.
Once she finished, she sighed. Soooooo, you're just going to sigh? If her brain would just shut up. It had already given her Epilepsy, Impostor Syndrome, and Insomnia. What could get worse? ThErE aRE cHiLDreN wHo dOn'T.... she just closed the lecture. Her brain is definitely off, in the weird way.
"Schindler's list, interesting choice but always a classic to play," she turned around and her eyes were the size of plates. Why was she so freaking weird? This was going to give her a panic attack, just wait for it, " you play violin to? I don't think I met anyone else at Hogwarts that also played." Okay, there was another kid there. Obvious Slytherin and was a smiling kid who had no clue exactly who she was or what she'll do. Dude, it's obvious I play the violin. her brain was in a sassy mood, "Yeah, I play the violin, too." she responded. Might as well start a conversation.
"So, what do you play? On the violin?" Okay, uhhhh, that was even more fReaKINg aWkwArd and WeiRd. if there was one person you could call a weird and crazy person, it's Lily Abigale Areum Reeser.
Sorry for the super slow response, just a little tired!

Henry nodded to her response as he set down his case and ran a quick hand through his hair as he listened to the girl speak again, Henry sat on his knees as he spoke " all different types of genres, my father originally made me learn as part of my lessons when I was younger so mainly classic and stuff like Schindler's list," Henry popped the case opened to reveal a hand crafted violin that his father gave him and despite looks it was actually quite old before he continued " but I was play modern things to now that I enjoy it and sometimes a few pieces that I write myself."
Henry ran a hand over his instrument before taking it out along with the string/stick and shutting the case once again. Henry got to his feet this time with violin in hand as he spoke " I'm Henry, uh second year I guess," Henry quickly played it to be sure it was in tune before speaking again " so how long have you been playing for?" Henry moved a bit closer to the girl as he held his violin by his side but in a secure manner as he cared a lot for the instrument but still keep smiling at her.

Just there I guess? @Henry Knight
Interesting. She hadn't freaked out yet. Literally had been scared to death by some sort of person while she was off-guard and now done the impossible: she had struck up a conversation. Uhhhhhh, okay. Might as well keep it going since, there's nobody to talk to.
" all different types of genres, my father originally made me learn as part of my lessons when I was younger so mainly classic and stuff like Schindler's list," That seems like some kid. Nobody plays Schindler's List who's a kid. Well, "That's cool." she didn't really know what to say. A few seconds later, "" but I was play modern things to now that I enjoy it and sometimes a few pieces that I write myself." she raised her eyebrows, a kid composer. A violinist like Mozart, " I'm Henry, uh second year I guess,""I'm Lily and I'm in my first year." she finally didn't mess it up. " so how long have you been playing for?" she sighed. Did the math quickly before responding, "Five years, I think." she shrugged and smiled a bit.
Oh the joy, if there was one thing you wouldn't want to say it's I want my mommy. But come on, you don't say it but you feel it, of course. You want your mommy? How ridiculous! She isn't going to rise from the dead Lily! Great ruin of self-esteem. Wonderful. Swell. Spectacular. This isn't fair. Life is not fair. I should've figured that out earlier It was quite painful answering these questions. She didn't know why though. Maybe it was because her mother played the violin? Or was it something else? She wasn't sure.

@Lily ReeserHenry heard her introduce herself as Lily and a first year, although for the strangest reason Henry could have swore he saw her somewhere. Maybe it was someone else or his lack of sleep but he thought that the girl might have look like someone on the slytherin dueling team anyway Henry moved past the thought when she said she been playing the violin for five years. Henry offered her a smile and at first thought they might have been similar but now took the thought back since she started probably when she was 7 or 8 and probably had a choice meanwhile Henry started when he was 5 and really didn't have a choice since his father made him learn a few instruments along with his twin sister.
" That's cool, I been playing for around 8 years now," Henry spoke to Lily with a smile before continuing " how did you learn? Did your parents teach you or did you have a tutor?" Henry waited a bit before he spoke again " I had a tutor for the first 5 years for three days a week then after I taught myself with some books," Henry gave her another smile before playing a note or two on his violin ensuring that it was in tune. It was, he then held it back down as he turned to Lily and spoke again " did your parents make you learn Schindler's list? It's not very a common song for people to learn which is why I ask."
Sorry for the wait

Note • Sorry for such a late responce... Also, make sure to check what language she is speaking in, she tends to switch through languages a lot so just letting you know.
She almost didn't hear a word he said. The statements slammed her first, then questions were flying through her head that she almost forgot them, "Aish, does he ever stop talking!?" she clenched her teeth and muttered under her breath. She didn't mean it as a bad thing hopefully it wasn't bad but if was for sure annoying, though she won't admit it, but maybe this was a good thing, having to listen for once.
Trying not to be rude, she quickly thought of a way to answer the questions before letting out something that might be rude. After a few hesitant seconds, "I believe I learned from my cousin but I'm not so sure if that's completely true; since I was more focused on the curriculum than who my teacher was." she laughed slightly after saying that. Remembering herself when she was younger, bugging the teacher to give her harder curriculum. "Nope, I decided to learn it myself. I was quite ambitious, not a very good type though! I annoyed my teachers-- and I mean a lot." she smiled. Just to reassure him what she did earlier with the statement in Korean wasn't really true. Though she still meant it but come on,
how many of us are truly genuine?

@Lily Reeser no worries and sorry for the wait on my part as well
Henry heard her mutter something and even through he didn't know the language, studied it and read about it that he knew the words and what it sounded like as he spoke " was that Korean? You know Korean? Are you Korean or Asian?" Henry noticing his questions stopped as he quickly apologized " sorry about that, I just get curious is all. You don't need to answer any of my questions if you don't want to Lily."
Henry smiled toward her before looking down a bit, it wasn't until she spoke again this time in English that he looked up and nodded to her. Henry waited until she was completely finished before he smiled as he spoke " your cousin taught you, that's cool. I had a tutor for a few years because of my father but now I teach myself, I'm pretty ambitious to maybe we could learn some new songs together if you don't mind of course," Henry smiled toward her before looking down and starting to adjust his violin again. As he played a simple note to tuned it and ran his hand across the instrument when he finished his tuning it, it was a simple thing his violin but it was connected to so many memories and emotions that it wasn't as simple as it seemed.

Note • No worries! It's alright. My RPG's have gotten a little slow since I'm slow with responses, so sorry if it causes you a wait! Just have been super busy with school...
After her muttering in Korean, Henry kept on asking her questions like "Was that Korean?" and "Are you Asian?" etc, etc. he muttered a response, an apology. She rarely received those, maybe just a punch in the ribs or a precisely aimed punch in the nose, just to watch her bleed. God how she hated Von Willebrand disease. That was their apology, not a verbal one. Shocked she was, and she was making it obvious, "It's alright. Yeah, I'm part Asian and I do speak Korean. I also speak--" she paused, remembering that Russian's didn't have a good reputation here. After her mutterings in the corridors in Russian, she had received looks of disgust and confusion, "Well, I'm trilingual. Not to show off or anything. Both my parents are from different ethnicities sooooooo, that's why." she laughed slightly, biting her lip.
Why the hell was she telling someone she didn't know about this? Did she really want to get in trouble? Hopefully no one would read her letters to her family, who all called her 'Lily Ruslanovna', she was unsure why though.
Then he offered to learn a new song with her. She literally felt like sinking through the ground. Nobody ever asked her that, even her teacher would start yelling at her if she made a mistake. Completely shoked she choked out a, "O---okay...?"

Henry was glad she didn't mind his questions and answered him even, so she was part Asian and trilingual. Henry smiled a bit before speaking "that's cool, what's the third language?" Henry then brushed the hair out of his face as he continued " I'm also trilingual of sorts and also many of my friends are. I personally know French, Italian, and German and English obviously. Except my friends and I didn't learn languages because of our backgrounds, we learn them from our lessons that are parents made us take."
Henry smiled before placing his violin on his shoulder and under his chin as he played a short and sweet medley to ensure that it was tuned and everything. When he finished, he placed the instrument back to his side as he heard her speak before saying him himself "what songs do you already know or want to know?" Henry waited for her answer as he held his violin in his hand on his side and occupied looked down at it, surprisingly his liking started by his fathers assign lessons. Henry then looked back at Lily as he spoke " do you play any other instruments? I also know how to play the piano and can sing a bit."
