They were playing Hufflepuff, the best team Hogwarts had last year that also singlehandedly defeated Durmstrang, but still, Ravenclaw would have to win right?

Getting onto the Quidditch Pitch only made Lucille a bit more terrified, though the moment she got onto her broom the freedom of flying prevailed over her.

Doing a small lap around the pitch, she got off once again and looked to her teammates.

Being called up to play with Ravenclaw's quidditch team was an unexpected surprise for the second year Ravenclaw. His disappointment at being denied a place on the dueling team had left him in a sour and brooding mood the entire week, one that had begun to affect his studies. The good news about his acceptance onto the quidditch team, however, reversed that mood entirely. He now had a new challenge to overcome, new skills to focus upon, and an entirely new topic to study. He was going to enjoy every minute of it.

In no time at all the day of his first match came. He was on the bench as the second-string keeper but that did not bother him. After all, he had barely attended a practice before the match. This would be a good opportunity to observe how the team played against the champions with the bonus of staying out of the pouring rain.

Clapping his gloved hands together, he shouted out. "Let's go Ravenclaw!"

The game was on, and right from the get-go it seemed as if ravenclaw had their bearings together quite well. The referee had some interesting comments through the match, but River had no attention turned on him. She had her eyes glued to a certain person, who would be the variable deciding whether River would be needed on the field or not. Neculai. He didn’t seem to have noticed the snitch yet, but as she glanced at the hufflepuff seeker, he didn’t look like he was onto it either.
As River turned her gaze to the players who had the quaffle, she heard the referee exclaim something that sent her attention straight back to the seekers. She quickly stood up from her seat with her heart beating loud in her ears as her eyes met a falling Neculai. Heading right for the ground. Suddenly, as if out of nowhere, Miranda saved him from the impending doom of hitting the ground. River sat back down letting out a heavy sigh of relief. Perhaps he could keep playing, though he didn’t look too good, he was still in the game and River would continue to keep an eye in his direction.

Doing his absolute best to block out the jeers and taunts from one @Thomas Baines in the stands, Eli's attention remained on the game, and more specifically, @Reid Kovacs. It hadn't taken the boy long to go from wanting to punch Reid to realizing that the two of them shared the same position on the quidditch field and perhaps there were things to be learned, after all, he was on the field and Elias wasn't. As the game began it didn't take long for Reid to absolutely obliterate Neculai and it was at this point that the young Ravenclaw turned his attention away from the boy. Perhaps it was his glaring that had him in such a horrifically angry mood. Thankfully, Neculai was caught, but it was quite a close call and Eli could only imagine the pain that the poor boy was in. That bludger had been absolutely flying.

Not wanting to be potentially responsible for Reid murdering yet another poor and unsuspecting Ravenclaw, Elias did his best to spend the rest of the match looking just about everywhere but at the Hufflepuff boy. It was during this time in fact that he took note of the comedic genius of their commentator, it half reminded him of some of the things his ROBLOX friends would say. Letting out a small chuckle, the boy continued his study of the match.
