Nell was stasfied with her sucess, and even though she was quite embrassed about her dancing, it did move her out of last place. She was ready to attempt a flip again, or was she? Nell wanted to sabotage, but decided against it. Nell didn't want to be the mean - person - who - takes - her - loss - out - on- others kind of person. And she really didn't want to be hated more than she already assumed she was. Nell sighed and lokoked around. Was she going to have to dance to raise her points again? Well, she didn't necessarily have to but she would anyway. Nell decided to do a fun little dance and, of course, she did it when most of the other participants had their backs turned. Nell did her little dance and turned a bright red. it was even more awkward than her last dance. With a glance over at Ami, she continued on to flip her bottle. The second year pointed her tursty wand at that tedious bottle and moved her wand in that same old motion. "Flipendo!" she incanted with confident voice. She watched to see if her spell did anything at all.

Aurelia was very satisfied with her performance. She was tied for second with Scarlett and another girl who she didn't know. The only person standing in her way was Pierre and to be honest she didn't mind if he won. That however, did not mean that she was going to give in without a fight.

Her dance routine was also quite passable and she couldn't help but laugh at Scarlett when she did her "dance". "Scar, your dancing is hilarious!" She was grinning a lot, the event had certainly lifted her spirits. How nice it was to be home.

She flicked her wand: "Flipendo" She was quite proud that she had done so well with the spell, as she wasn't so sure of her academic performance.

Then she starting dancing. This time going full crazy after the inspiring performance by Scarlett. Who cared about routines anyway. It was more fun this way.

First, she moved her arms around weirdly, which was similar to the little victory dance she did when her bottle landed. Then, she did a catwalk move which ended in a split and was followed by a handstand. Finally, she flung her arms around wildly and struck a pose and did a curtsy. All while keeping eye-contact with Ami.

Cast and hit, cast and hit... It was a charming, invariable, yet fun, pattern. Piérre watched as each bottle spun, sometimes flipping more than once on their ways down, and then planted themselves firmly on the crates. It was a kind of relaxing hobby, especially when you added dancing to the mix. Truth be told, Piérre had never had a dance lesson in his life. He had never been a danseur or a dance squad member. He had never really given much thought to it. Perhaps just because he was moved about so much, he felt that he would never have had time to connect with teammates or with fellows, and that if anyone saw a boy dancing, he would be laughed at for being girly.

Well, they got one thing wrong. Piérre was not a girly girl, and nor was he a manly man.

He liked to think of himself as Androgynous. When he had been younger than ten, he had often partaken in dressing in clothes of both male and female counterparts, his young face and large eyes making him appear as if he were both genders at times. His certain flexibility, the trait that he had never had a name placed to quite yet had made itself known from a young age as well; the ability to squeeze into small areas or work his ways through trees and cliffsides only hones his natural agility.

When there was music, Piérre swayed with the music, watching colorful images dancing in the back of his mind. Where there was no music, Piérre made his own, splashes of white against black parchment, and spatters of greens, blues, and reds making their way across the once-darkness. He danced for many reasons; it was a way for him to cry through actions instead of tears, it was a way for him to speak when he could not talk, and it was a way to unite people together and find joy in the unity.

He had portrayed his sunny side, his high energy and spontaneity, but he could do so much more than that. He could twist and bow, bend and break. Laugh and cry without speaking a word. Without uttering a sound. The words of actions.
Spin and change, and move and flow. The world is my stage, and my life is my show. I dance for you and all of whom, desire to watch the circus go. Though his actions were perhaps a bit more sudden, his poses more precise, his dance was fluid, as if wildly fluxuating between passion and sadness. Excitement and imprisonment. It was as if he was scared to continue, scared to strike each pose, scared that someone would stare or point. He wasn't just a clown. He was a harlequin. He was the jester.

His voice hardly a whisper as he resolved his dance, Piérre pointed his want towards his bottle, his voice cracking as he incanted the spell.

"Flipendo."

Spin and change,
Move and flow.
The world is my stage,
My life is the show.
I dance for you,
and all of whom,
desire to watch,
the circus go.

Sway and bend,
break and shatter.
I smile although,
My body is battered.
Take my hand,
And step along,
My gentle treads,
Together, we are danseurs.

Union of strangers,
A traveler's companion.
The Gypsy's comrade,
And the Celestial's romance.

Gently we flutter,
Petals to Earth.
Eventually all life
Will return to dirt.
But until our breath leaves,
Our rosy, mortal lips,
Let's dance once more,
Until our new Birth

Venture along with me,
I'll be your guide.
Traveler, companion,
Forever at your side.

Amara straightened her back as Percival asked her about her family's bank, "Dragon Banking" She replies primly, in that tone of confidence she has been raised to always speak with. As he snaps back at the leader of this event, Amara notices some of there peers dancing, they clearly were either insane or insecure and needed some sort of validation from an older student.

"Do any of you realize what you are doing to your image?" The blonde snaps at the group as she twirls her wand between two fingers, "Not that any of you images really matter." Amara ignores any reactions they may have and focuses solely on her one sane companion. Thankful that the boy had taken her up on her offer to leave this...catastrophe. Amara sends a somewhat rude look over to Ami who acted as if Amara was joking. As the Dragamior heir follows Percival out of the games area, a clean silence falls over to the two as they think. Amara makes a mental note to never participate in any events run by Ami again before turning over to Percival to continue their line of pleasant conversation, though she does hope that the discussion turns a bit more personal. "Any family business or such?"

@Aurelia Roberts

Time to do more dancing shit.

Scarlett was rather excited as she attempted to crack her knuckles expertly. Aurelia thought her dancing was hilarious? That was one way to describe it, though she hoped fabulous was on the list as well. Scarlett smirked.

"I'm sure you'll do great this time Auri," dismissed Scarlett with a smile. She watched in awe as Pierre managed the headstand. How on earth-

But then Scarlett's attention focused on Auri, seemingly inspired by Scarlett, as the brunette began to twist and kick in a wild routine, flaunting impressive gymnastics skills that Scarlett herself could never hope to beat. When Auri finished, Scarlett's eyes were wide.

"And you say my dancing was hilarious," laughed Scarlett. "No, seriously though - how the actual hell did you manage the splits?"

Deciding to follow her friend's lead, Scarlett quickly cast Flipendo ("Flipendo!") and turned her focus towards dancing. Perhaps her routine wouldn't be as impressive, and maybe it wouldn't even be a routine, but she hoped she would still receive a bonus point nonetheless, as she started to jive.

Apparently, this thing called 'Flossing' was all the rage a while ago, as a Muggleborn in Godric's Hollow had introduced it to the kids of the small town. Scarlett had got the hang of this dance after vigorous practice sessions, and proceeded to floss away. Then, she started to wiggle and shake her hair like a mad person, throwing her legs and arms and hair about. Finally, for the grand finale, she grabbed Aurelia's arm and started doing a jiggle in a circle, tugging at her friend to follow along.

"Come on Auri!"

@Lizzie Callaghan has been skipped this round.

You know what? Despite @Amara Dragamior and @Percival Gray just completing ditching the event, Ami couldn't help but feel pretty okay about this event. After all, everyone else was dancing, which truly brought her immense amounts of joy. They looked silly, sure, wiggling around to some non-existent music, but they were having fun, and that was what counted.

On top of being a stellar dancer, @Nell Zoldak was also a whiz at bottle flipping if she really tried. With a swish and a flick, her water bottle landed on her crate, and Ami cheered for her, pumping her fist in the air. "Nice!" Another thunk attracted her attention, however, and her eyebrows crept closer together as another water bottle landed on Nell's crate immediately after her attempt. She couldn't be that quick at magic, could she...? Seeing Percival turn and depart with Amara, the reason dawned on her, and she couldn't help but laugh. Apparently, Percival had attempted to flip one last bottle before he left, but it had veered incredibly off course and landed on Nell's crate, instead.

@Piérre Marchonné, ever the dramatic little fellow, had Ami's rapt attention as he performed his... whatever that was. Once he finished, Ami burst into fervored applause, although her solemn expression had split open into a wide smile. "That was impressive as hell," she admitted, as he continued to land another water bottle on his crate. "Beautiful. Stuning." And an easy bonus point...

The two other Gryffindors seemed to be good friends, @Scarlett Aden and @Aurelia Roberts bantering lightly with each other as they... was she flossing? Ami couldn't decide if she wanted to die from second-hand embarrassment or join in. She compromised by doing the uh... the one where your leg and your hand do the thing together and- okay, so maybe she didn't really know the name of the move itself, but it was most definitely a Fortnite dance, or something of equal meme-rankings. If they were having fun, then Ami was having fun, and she paused her dumb dancing to clap wildly as both of them landed their water bottles on their crates.

"Last water bottle, here!" she called out, "And last chance to show off your dance moves!"

@Aurelia Roberts

The game was stretching on forever (in her impatient opinion), but Scarlett didn't mind. She was having way too much fun jiggling around like a maniac. Way too much fun. What would her classmates think of the random Gryffindor kid who did insane dances at school field days? She glanced at Auri and Pierre, and released that, yes, they were also maniacal, Gryffindor kids who did insane dances at school field days. All for one and one for all, it seemed.

Scarlett began her next routine with a sloppy moonwalk. She dragged her feet backwards for about two seconds before finally getting the hang of it. It was simple - glide, glide, glide. The rhythm was an easy, steady beat. It was all good-

This is boring, thought Scarlett, ditching all plans of another organized routine on the spot and instead deciding to do whatever she felt like at the moment.

BANG DE BANG BANG.

Scarlett was imagining random tunes in her head and she jumped and whipped her hair and shook everything - legs, arms, head - like a mad girl. Whatever. This was fun! Dizzying, but fun! Breathless, Scarlett stopped whirling and jumping to quickly aim her wand and cast a hurried spell - the flipping didn't seem to be the main focus of the event anymore - rather, the dancing was.

To the casual observer, it may have been thought that Piérre would be proud to be in the lead, as his wide, cheeky smile gave testament to. Actually, Piérre couldn’t care less about the competition, and was pleasantly surprised to see everyone dancing and capering about, having a good time. However... the only other boy who had been participating in this competition had just left, leaving the Britalian to serve as his own one man cabaret.

Not that he minded, though. Piérre was used of being the odd duck out, the one that tended to act kooky or silly without any specifically designed reason... and he was more than happy to play the role; whatever role it was that the world needed him to be. As such, Piérre was prepared to use his movements to replace his words, which he was bad at expressing through. The only thing that Piérre knew to be absolute fact was that Music and Dance were the universal tongues of mankind. And Piérre wanted to be as fluent in every language that he could master. So... one final goofy performance... just before the clock ran out.

Breathing heavily, Piérre swish-flicked his wand, commanding every ounce of magic into himself.
If everyone else wanted to sabotage his win, so be it. Piérre didn't care. This had been fun, no matter what the outcomes of this event was.

The corner of Percy's lips would form into a grin as Amara gave stick about their image, which was in fact very well said. He looked over to Ami and shook his head slowly in disappointment, before turning around with Amara to walk away from the games area. So far, his new accomplice seemed to be pretty cool, but he had yet to fully know everything about the fellow pureblood as they continued walking down the path "Not exactly" he replied to the girl while looking straight ahead of him "My parents both work for the ministry, father being an auror and my mother apart of the Wizengamot court." he said proudly to her. His parents had worked very hard to get where they were, nothing was handed to them even if they were classed as wealthy purebloods.

His grandparents on the other hand had totally different processions than his mother and father, but it wasn't the right time to talk about that just yet "Compared to other parents I don't see them all the time, even when i'm on breaks from Hogwarts they are normally quite busy and stay away days at a time. None the less, we always seem to keep in touch" noted the boy as they began to travel through a wooded section, his eyes scanning the surroundings "Other than that, I have a pretty interesting and diverse family in a way. The huge family meetings we do each year will prove that..." he said with a grin as he thought about how mad it can get during those events. Especially when his Irish side of the family show up.
Amara and Percival have left the thread

[font= Spectral]The second-year had way too much fun. Aurelia loved watching her friends do their ridiculous dances, especially Scarlett, who was full of surprises.

Also, although she wouldn't admit it, Aurelia got quite the scare when the redhead grabbed her arms out of the blue. But geez, who could blame her? One second she was peacefully flipping her bottle, and the next they were twirling in circles. Nevertheless, she joined in.

As they gained speed, the world began to spin and time seemed to slow down. She couldn't help but grin, and eventually, they were so fast that Aurelia let go and fell on her butt, which she had a good laugh about.

She quickly jumped back on her feet, time was running out and she still had to flip her bottle... her last bottle. Her fingers were a bit sweaty this time, but she still put her all into the Knockback jinx. "Flipendo"

Her dance routine was very loose this time, a handstand, cartwheel, some weird butt shaking, a little arm swinging, topped off with hair whipping that she did with Scarlett... and voila! There it was, the last dance for today. Beaming, she went in for a high five with Scarlett. "Wow, I- thanks", she said. More to everyone, time flies when you are having fun.
