Callie didn't hold much love for quidditch mainly thanks to her fear of heights and general belief that brooms were stupid. However considering Elias Weare had managed to make the cut for the Ravenclaw team that might just change. It didn't take a genius to know about Elias' ambitions to get onto the team and to see him finally get the chance to do so was particularly nice to see. His rather wide smile was perhaps less nice to see and a little creepy given how intently he seemed to be looking at some of the Hufflepuffs but Callie was happy for him nonetheless. The boy may have been on the benches for now but that wasn't going to stop Callie from cheering!

Callie held tightly onto her umbrella as she looked out onto the pitch, having to adjust her glasses ever so slightly to see properly. She may not have held much love for the sport but watching it at least was somewhat entertaining. When the girl finally took notice of Elias she let out a rather loud cheer before settling down onto her seat. It didn't take long for Callie to start fidgeting as she waited for the game to begin out of habit more than anything. As she sat bat waiting for the beginning she occasionally tucked her hand into her pocket to fish out a jellybean and toss it into her mouth.

Serena might have stepped away from playing Quidditch but she would never step away from supporting her house and her friends. Rushing in, she leaned over the railings and screamed as loudly as she could, "YOU GOT THIS BADGERS!" The rain would hit her as she came seriously underprepared for such weather. Well, she had a coat on but umbrellas were not a thing that she bothered to own.

Gripping the railing, she eagerly watched the skies as they began to make their way out. The whole team had undergone quite a few changes and she was really excited to see how the new members played. A new team meant new strategies and different tactics. Whatever happened, she had no doubt that it would be interesting to watch.

She was not sure she had many friends on the Ravenclaw team but it didn't matter. Hufflepuff could do this! She believed in them. Healy, Kovacs, Parker... Fourth years that she had been friends with for years. White? Did he count as a friend? She considered him one nonetheless. Procoppio was not someone she spoke to that much but every moment was always... interesting to say the least. Morgan, Jones and Bowen... She owed them a lot during her time on the team. Reid and Emrys... She grinned as she thought of the Rat Olympics that they had set up for Pizza, who was snuggled in her pocket at the moment, "SHOW THEM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF!" She cheered in support.

It had been a while since she was on this side of the railings... And she was going to cheer with everything she had.

Here we go again. Though she had only ever played the sport once or twice and had otherwise only watched, Frost thoroughly enjoyed Quidditch. Perhaps one day she would try out for the team. It seemed unlikely it would happen though. Like a true Hufflepuff, Frost enjoyed watching her friends play too much. It gave her a sense of joy to stand in the crowd, cheering for her house team or any team that any of her friends were part of. Though she would not deny that her favorite team was, of course, Hufflepuff.

She had hoped it boosted her friends' spirits to know that such a bright moral support stood and cheered for them in the stands. Especially now, with Ami as a new Co-Captain and new to the team in general, maybe she'd want someone there for her. Quinn was, without a doubt, leading a wonderful team.

The rain seemed to drag, but the gloomy weather was no match for Frost. Front row, hand on the railing, she stood, an adorable umbrella in hand. Just because the weather wasn't sunny didn't mean she, a decent fashion nerd, had to cheer while sacrificing cute-ness. "Let's go Hufflepuff!"

A girl, who Frost would recognize as Serena Towers, seemed to be just as enthusiastic, probably more. Though she had only ever actually spoken to Serena very few times, the redhead viewed her as a role model of sorts. She had, since first year basically, sort of looked up to her. I mean, who didn't? "Hey, did you want to share my umbrella?" As the words left her mouth, Frost nodded to Serena's empty hands. "I don't want you getting sick while we're supposed to be cheering on our friends and team."As if to let her know there was room and that she was welcome to accept her offer, Frosty moved a bit to the side, making room just in case Serena had wanted to join her.

Charles watched the game and couldn't help but chuckle in amusements a little as he thought how different the hogwarts quidditch teams and the Dumstrang team were. Which different wasn't always a good thing according to the boy who could find out the good and bad of everyone or everything no matter what which allowed him to mutter to himself in Russian " could Hogwarts get anymore pathetic then now," Charles turned to Fyodor and gave one of his signature half smiles, this one a bit wicked as he whispered to his friend " would you rather be at Ilvermorny or Hogwarts, Fyo?" Charles lowered his voice a bit lower so it sounded a bit like raspy Russian as he whispered "after this trip, I'll take Dumstrang over Hogwarts any day."

Charles laughed a bit to his friend when another voice spoke up apparently to them. Charles looked over and recognized it was a Hogwarts student, typical he thought who else who interrupt a private conversation as he again muttered to himself in Russian " and Hogwarts becomes more pathetic," before speaking in English with his British and Russian mix of a accent " I don't remember asking for someone to interrupt our private conversation but thank you for the insight," a hint of sarcasm could be found in his voice as the girl spoke again this introducing herself and stating their houses.

" I'm glad to see Hogwarts students are smart enough to identify a Dumstrang from an Ilvermorny student," Charles kept his cool with a blank face and normal voice except for the hint of sarcasm as be spoke again " I however would have guessed you Hogwarts because of your willingness to interrupt conversations and stick your nose in places where they don't belong," Charles was usually social but he really didn't care for the school where his cousins studied as he muttered in Russian " why the hell I'm I even here."

Charles then gave a wicked half smile as he whispered to Fyodor so no one else could hear" do you think someone should jinx her?" Charles not meaning to speak to the girl but stated loud enough for her to hear " Hogwarts what a pathetic place for school."

Minute by minute more and more students began to arrive to the arena. It was true that no matter if it was rain or shine, everyone would come together for Quidditch. It was the most popular game of the world. Bloom couldn't think of any other sport in the Wizarding World that was as brilliant as Quidditch. It was too bad that she was never as much into it as her family was. They could never afford to go to a game match, but just having spirit for a team was enough for them to be fans.

Bloom's heart skipped a beat. She did not realize that she interrupted a conversation. She assumed that all were out here to be together. The tone in the Durmstrang's voice made Bloom feel uneasy. This was her chance to try and make friends and here she was being scolded for trying to do so. Her confidence that she had when entering the arena was diminishing fast.

Why am I here? she thought to herself.

Her body was feeling heated from the drastic change in moods. She could feel her eyes watering up and her lips were beginning to quiver, but Bloom bit her tongue and took a deep breath. Before the tears turned into waterworks, Bloom turned around and left the Durmstrang student to continue his "private" conversation with another.

From afar, but yet so close, she heard a voice that was very familiar screaming out to the Hufflepuffs. Looking around, she saw that it was none other than @Serena Towers. She was an old acquaintence. They never made it around to being closer friends than that. It was difficult being from different houses and the older they became in Hogwarts, the more solidified friendships became, which made it difficult for newer friendships to form. Bloom, for sure, missed the boat. She tried to get Serena's attention by waving at her, but that was all she did. It seemed that she was busy talking to another Hufflepuff who caught her attention.

Why am I here? she thought again to herself. Because you need to reconnect with others. Because you need to get over your fear of caring about what other people thought. she echoed in reply to herself.

Wiping her eyes, Bloom felt a sense of anger. She was right-- she couldn't care about what other people thought. It was then she made her way back to the Durmstrang boy, her eyes looking pained. "You know what? I admired Durmstrang. I was told how strong and mannered the school was. If you are a representation of Durmstrang, then perhaps it isn't what I thought and it is instead a dump that breeds incompetent and pathetic people like you," she said, emphasizing his word 'pathetic' that he had used about her school.

Bloom closed her mouth and realized what she had done. To any other person, this would end in a fight. But would this guy really go ahead and harm another; especially a girl? Or would he go the extra mile to make sure she got what she deserved for sticking up for herself and putting him down? One thing was for sure... Bloom was not skilled with her wand. She did great in acting out, not caring what he thought, but she did not think of the outcomes of her actions at all.

The second match of the year and Henry would find himself attending which was odd for the anxious boy whom preferred to stay anyway from large crowds like quidditch matches. However while he didn't always support his house, he didn't support friends like at the first match when Nick and him cheered on Cash who just happened to be the slytherin beater, so Henry did want to cheer on friends which was why he was there.

Miranda, Henry's closest friend and also girlfriend was the chaser for the ravenclaw team so Henry figured he should go and cheer her on. The twelve year old seemed a bit young to be dating already or having those types of emotions but either from his matured nature or anxiousness he was already dating at twelve and the ravenclaw chaser to.

Henry had on his usual everyday outfit paired with a raincoat because of the heavily pouring rain, Henry couldn't help but occasionally look over at the game and hope it will go alright for ravenclaw today because besides from the rain, they were also going against hufflepuff which was the team that defeated Dumstrang. Henry heard and read about the school and he came to a conclusion that the school was one not to mess with and he only hoped that ravenclaw could beat hufflepuff that day, who knows maybe the rain could help them.

Henry was wandering the stands when he saw a familiar face, an blonde hair and blue eyed ravenclaw that he knew has Heather Blair Moretti and she was also shouting Miranda's name and cheering her one, Henry had no idea that the two were friends and he spent a lot of time around both. Henry approached her as he smiled before speaking " hey Heather, fancy seeing you here," Henry then turned his attention to the match and asked her " you know Miranda? I didn't know you two were friends," Henry was lucky enough or at least he thought to not explain how he knew Miranda since at the dance a few days ago Miranda and him went together to sort of reveal to friends and others that they were dating.

Henry then took his place next to Heather before looking at the match and saying " I hope they win, while hufflepuff did beat Dumstrang they also lost a player or two right? Maybe that could help ravenclaw," Henry would have preferred to be a ravenclaw something that Heather knew so he didn't care if she saw him cheering on ravenclaw as he shouted " go Ravenclaw! Go Miranda!" Henry then looked over at Heather and smiled as the boy was truly enjoying himself, something he hadn't done in a while as he nudged Heather's shoulder playfully.

It took a few moments for the Slytherin to even acknowledge the younger girl beside her. There were plenty of seats around to choose from yet, of course, someone decided to not only sit beside her but make conversation with her. She didn't respond straight away for her interest was on the pitch looking for a particular someone. They weren't anywhere to be seen by this point so she slumped herself back into her seat and turned her head slightly, enough for her gaze to lower and properly observe the Hufflepuff beside her. A Hufflepuff that seemed just as annoyed with the weather as her, though Norina's expressions were far more expressive than her own. She was cute looking, like a little doll which gave her the impression that she was definitely that of a first-year, second at a push.

Falentra knew the girl was waiting for a response. She had taken her time in doing so as her attention was still at the time figuring out what she could of the girl before she made the effort to talk. Not only that, but two different groups of boys nearby had caught her attention. They stood out like a sore thumb when they spoke Russian. The accent was always so strong and louder than it needed to be. Although she didn't understand a word they were saying, it was starting to sound like they were just here for fun for their choice of dialect would go back and forth from English to Russian. Not only that but once the sound of a female piped up in a defensive manner and threw a good dig there way, one which brought a smile onto Falentras face for a slipt second, she couldn't help but become wary of what was going on. It seemed they were just here mock the teams and spectators, at least that was what it seemed like for Charles and Fyodor. Although Falentra was not apart of Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw and wasn't overly fond of the strangers around her herself, it was about having a bit of respect.

Their irritating snickers being thrown back at one another as they would speak would eventually cause the Slytherin to glance over her shoulder in their direction. Her eyes would scan from two groups close by. '' You know you guys are so far up your own arse I don't think you can see how irritatin' and stupid you look.'' Her eyes would have been focused on the louder pair, Charles and Fyodor but quickly lowered towards Yefim when speaking the word stupid. That hat... that was something else. If she wasn't so wound up, she would probably have let out a small chuckle. Her choices of words were never the best. Always so sharp with her tongue yet always said it as it was. It was something a lot of people hated, and surely these lads weren't to be too impressed either, but the Slytherin had no control over how to word things.

Eventually, after staring down the group of boys and having a quick look over towards the girl who stood up for herself, she would bring her attention back forward. Surprisingly her expressions remained blank despite the conflict that had just taken place. She eventually lowered her gaze once more towards the poor girl that probably now regretted sitting beside her. ''Yeah. Weather is rubbish ain't it? But not as bad as those behind us. What do you think?''

Thomas continued to follow through on a new regiment that came with writing for the Headliner. Attending each and every Quidditch game throughout the season. A healthy distraction for a boy who intended to rebound from his protracted first year. In addition, he now represents his house as seen by the black and green badge pinned on his robes. Surely his peers would marvel at Miss Jensen's decision, Thomas was among them. Though it instilled belief in himself to turn things around, even if only temporary. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

The boy found a place in the utmost corner of the stands, actively distancing from those that seemed most lively. He retrieved his field journal, allegedly waterproof, but it would not stop Thomas leaning his frame forward to shield the parchment from falling raindrops. The moisture collected on his head, droplets streaming down his face and soaking his robes. Not that he minded, it had a relaxing effect on his mind. The rain pelting on the wooden banisters and tarp banners offered a pleasant sound. Just another distraction.

The boy turned to the page that would recap his preview for the match. Though he would not retrieve his quill, opting to take mental notes for today's game unless someone came along that knew impervious . Hufflepuff vs. Ravenclaw - October. His eyes skipped past some notes on player analysis to the bottom of the page, Serena Towers catches the snitch, Hufflepuff 190 - Ravenclaw 30. Thomas gently shook his head, eyes scanning the crowd until he found her. Not on the field, but in the stands.

Following Hufflepuff's undefeated season where they capped it off with a championship win against Durmstrang, Thomas considered Serena a lock to be a professional one day. Scouts are likely scratching their heads at her decision to step away from the field for an indefinite period of time. As far as Thomas was concerned, her absence was not just a story, it was the story. Thomas wanted to know why.

Ravenclaw upsets the reigning champs, Lazar catches the snitch. Ravenclaw 200 - Hufflepuff 70. The boy scribbled in a rushed prediction. He didn't know much about the Raven club, but he respected the law of averages. They were due for positive progression, and the rainy conditions were in their favor.

As the respective teams made their entrances, a familiar pasty hunk caught his eye. His brother from another mother, Howard White was now a member of the Quidditch team. If biting was merely a penalty lap, the fourth year dhampir would prove a worthy addition indeed. Thomas waited for the crowd noise to die down before shouting at Howard when he grabbed the bench. "Here we go, Whitey!" If Howard looked his way, Thomas would issue a smug nod.

Watching the game from afar, Thomas was in search of one Quidditch player in particular. Once his gaze locked on to Elias Weare, his arch-nemesis, he attempted to get the boy's attention with some rancorous shouting. "HEY ELI! HOPE YOU DON'T GET CLOCKED LIKE YOU DID IN THE TOILETS, WORM!" The words came tumbling out of his mouth without a care in the world. Previous to this match, Thomas had never actually taken much interest in Quidditch at all. He'd never been to a game, he'd never really paid much attention aside from what he needed for Flying homework. It all happened far too high in the air for his liking, and he didn't particularly like heights.

Now, however, being able to taunt Elias gave him a reason to spectate his matches. Paying little heed to the rain, Thomas continued to shout his lungs out. Despite being quite small, able to be mistaken for a first-year or even younger, the Ravenclaw could produce a frightening amount of volume from his tiny little lungs. He stood on his seat in the stands, paying absolutely no mind to anyone who was in his immediate vicinity as he continued to throw metaphorical tomatoes at a certain Elias Weare.

The boy he was taunting was quite literally benched, so his words likely meant nothing. They were full of empty threats, ridiculous insults, and digs at Elias' character despite the fact that he wasn't entirely well known. However, if Thomas was being honest, if Elias didn't harass him just the same during his Dueling matches he'd feel a bit insulted. Their relationship was categorized by bickering and mischief, even the occasional physical fight. What was the fun if they didn't seek each other out to brawl from time to time?

"I HOPE THE OTHER BEATER GETS KNOCKED OUT SO I CAN WATCH YOU SUCK AT QUIDDITCH!" Thomas shouted, laughing as the last few words escaped his gullet. He looked over to Callie, a wide grin on his face. "I thought this was going to be boring, but this is great!" The match hadn't even started yet, the young wizard was just referring to bullying Elias.

A blonde would enter the stands. She lacked the bright eyes or the smile, rather she donned the grim façade of neutrality. Her long, blonde hair pulled severely back from her face and bound in a simple bit of elastic. An umbrella over her head protected her from the icy rain, the water fell in rivers about her. She would silently identify her friends, of which there were none. As for enemies, there was @Thomas Lestrange. He somehow looked older, she did not like it. He was calling out to Whitey?

There was an albino in the school but she did not think the novelty was on the bird's Quidditch Team. She wasn't, so who? Then her eyes caught the gaunt, sunken features of the pallid dhampir that LeStrange not-so-secretly yearned for. Ah yes, Howard. He was here to cheer his not-boyfriend on, how darling.

Erin would of course do what she did best and approach. "Tommy," she announced as she found a spot to stand near him. "Obsessive a bit over the badger?" She was of course referring to Howard, this was his first game. "Here to cheer your man on?" This would be where he would try to deflect to something Jack-related somehow more than likely. He could not hurt her with reminders of a guy she no longer was capable of wanting or hating, yet she had every cruel intention of destroying everything he was capable of holding dear.

She would notice something shiny on display and frown. A damned Prefect Badge. The F was Jensen thinking giving him responsibility over anything. He was the sort that was more likely to drown his ant farm as a study of arthropod buoyancy, just no studying or notes, only murder.

Just a trick of the lighting they said...
