The carriage ride to Hogwarts had been an exciting prospect for Madeleine. Not only was she going to see an infamous old castle that was rumored to be extremely beautiful, but she also had her best friend at her side. She had never done any traveling with friends before, aside from the whole to and from school. And while this journey would not be much farther than that, it was still nice to have a change of scenery.Bolded Text - French | Regular Text - English

The part she had not properly factored in was that said best friend would be worrying about her father, but she was quickly reminded of this. There was a weird dynamic between Cass and her father going on, and the blonde seemed extremely nervous about the whole thing. While Maddie didn't know every detail, she knew enough to offer her unending support during this initial meeting between them.
"He'll definitely be there," Maddie said with a confident and reassuring smile to her friend. The brunette was not the type to fake her words to a friend - she could absolutely be blunt when needed - but now was not that time. Although she had never met the man, Maddie was sure that Cass's father would be there to welcome her. She watched as her friend readjusted her posture and tucked her hair. The nerves were clear, but Maddie had faith that Cass would do just fine! It was her father, after all!
Once the carriage actually landed, Cass seemed to collect herself as she turned to Maddie. "Of course," Maddie replied with a small giggle, locking arms with her friend as they exited the carriage. Upon setting her graceful foot in the courtyard, Maddie's eyes went everywhere. At first, to the Abraxans that had pulled the carriage - she loved such majestic creatures as them, and nodded in their direction as if in thanks. Then her eyes gleaned over some of the scattering Hogwarts students so she could take in the castle itself. Wow! It was not the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, but the stone had its own charms! So rustic and grand!
And then-
"Oh, wow! She is so beautiful," Maddie whispered in awe, her voice only loud enough for Cass to hear. The young French girl's eyes had now locked onto a blonde girl (Erin) who had started making her way into the courtyard. Madeleine's eye for beauty did not stop at dance and architecture - it spread to people too. She found the beauty in most people she saw, but this girl had a look about her that was absolutely captivating. Not from the grace of being a dancer, or from any obvious charisma in her personality - it was a physical beauty that Maddie had not seen before. It made Maddie want to go and say hello, but she had a feeling Cass would not want to be dragged into conversation when her father would likely be arriving soon. So Maddie found herself staring at the blonde girl instead - not realizing that her staring was probably very noticeable.

'Putain..' Fuck With a pained look, Beels hand quickly shot to the front of his head. The doorframe of this carriage was smaller than he had anticipated. Rubbing it to soothe the pain, he bended down slightly and carefully walked out, carrying his lugagge with him. On his back, a leathery box in the clear shape of a guitar and in his other free hand a suitcase, which contained everything he needed for this month in Scotland. The first thing he noticed was how much colder it was than back in Beauxbatons. A shiver ran down his spine before he took in a deep breath of fresh air. The trip took a little while and thankfully for the experienced Abraxan, he didn't get ... air sick.
Straightening his back until a small crack could be heard, to which he let out a soft sigh of satisfaction, he turned to look up at the impressive castle of Hogwarts. 'Whoa. C'est beau ça...' Whoa, that's pretty. He said this more to himself than to anyone else as he had taken a seat in the far back near a window during the flight. Talking was nice but he rather just space out and think of random things like... imagening a jaguar hopping onto the clouds, trying to keep up with the carriage. It made him weird but not that it bothered him. He was fine by himself.
Slightly bothered and unsure where to go from here, he awkwardly shuffled to the back of a group of students, listening in to their conversations. He liked to listen. He wasn't out to hear their most deepest secrets. Nor out for gossip. With his tall yet broad form for his age, it was hard to not see him. With his usual resting smile face, he looked around to see what was happening. To anyone who'd stare at him, he'd flash a warm cheesy grin.

Her silvery eyes searched the skies, spotting the beautiful carriage from afar. She spotted it from the entrance, waiting for their arrival. Both of the two schools that had arrived earlier in the day were already settling into the castle. She had met one of them last year - here in the castle - and the second, she had seen play at the Quidditch Tournament not too many months prior. The third and final school to arrive was the one she knew the least about. Despite that, she was anxious for their arrival for a few reasons. She had little idea what they would be like but if their reputation was anything to go by, they sounded like her kind of people in a few ways.
Quirking an eyebrow, she walked through the grounds and started to approach the school. She had been standing closer to the entrance, expecting them to land somewhere around there. Ilvermorny had come to the gates, Durmstrang had to come by lake. It would appear that Beauxbatons opted to fly in - and land elsewhere.
As she walked through the grass, she witnessed a couple of students not too far from her running towards the castle. They had seen the carriage too by the looks of their excited voices. She sighed. Today was full of far too much excitement. She understood it, in a way. Most students were eagerly expecting the arrival of three different schools and the opportunity to meet others their age or learn more about different cultures. But she was filled with more dread. There was a good chance that this was a terrible idea. It always appeared to be. She really did not want that to be the case. Not this time, just for once... Please.
Dressed in green and black witch robes for once, Hjørdis made her way through the grounds as she followed the carriage. Of course, she was a lot slower than it but she had no intention of running behind it. She would arrive when she arrived and that was that. Her hair was plaited before neatly being placed into a bun. Long emerald earrings hung from her ears. Donning her house colours, she moved towards the unfamiliar man that was, most likely the Headmaster. She knew very little about him and could only hope he turned out more trustworthy than Plott - who she was still doubtful over.
Her eyes fell onto the nearby students, until they stopped at the only one who was familiar. With a smile growing on her lips, she gave a friendly nod of her head towards the girl she recognised in a form of a greeting as she approached the headmaster, "Good evening, welcome to Hogwarts," Hjørdis welcomed him, offering her hand for a handshake as she introduced herself, "Nora Jensen, one of the four Head of Houses here. Is this your first time here, Headmaster?" She asked him, wondering if he needed a grand tour later - well... a tour of the basic things that he would likely require in his stay, such as where the Great Hall was.

In no way had Sébastien liked the travel from Beauxbatons to Hogwarts. It was completely and utterly horrid. He defiantly had a few stirring insults lingering around in his head that were yearning to be said. It had not been fun at all. There had been nothing to do at all. Berry had had to keep himself entertaining by signing bad language to people or trying to confuse whoever sat next to him by speaking in Veela.
[FRENCH] "Cassie. It's nice to see you." Sébastien crossed his arms and scrunched his eyes up before cracking up a smile and holding his hand out. To be honest, Berry did not have that many friends. It was pretty hard when all he did was go around and insult people. The only two people that ever came to mind when the word 'friendship' was raised where Cassie and Amaury Favreau (whom he had yet to see after the long ride).
The boy then turned towards the castle and took it all in. The first impression would defiantly stick in his head. Hogwarts was defiantly impressive. It was large. Very large. However, his heart would always lie at Beauxbatons. Sébastien knew he would just have to suck it up and continue with life. He was only going to be there for a while.
Sébastien looked at Cassie again and noticed the girl stood next to her, [FRENCH] "My, my. Who is this?" He smirked while pushing some curls out of his eyes, [FRENCH] "I have never seen you before. Maybe I just didn't acknowledge you." He shrugged his shoulders slightly. He had no reason to hate people. It was just people hated him so Sébastien had learnt to take it out on people who did not deserve his wrath.
Smirking to himself, Berry picked up his hand and stuck it out to the smaller girl. [FRENCH] "I am Sébastien Batteux. Maybe you already know that. People do like to speak about me. Good or bad. I do not mind." He smirked and lifted his head ever so slightly while eyeing the girl in front of him. [FRENCH] "And what's your name?"

A girl exited the carriage. She was a blonde girl, and a pretty blonde girl at that. Her hair was like spun-gold, her eyes a glassy blue. Yet the glass seemed shattered. She exuded a noble confidence, like her blood ran purer than the rest of the students of Beauxbatons. But the regal aura was ruined by the fact that there seemed to be a terrible, haunting presence surrounding her. She broadcast an anti-social message. She didn't look like a friendly neighbourhood girl. She didn't look friendly at all.
The girl in question was called Elise, and she was thoroughly fed up of the carriage. Luggage had been heaved in the night before as goodbyes were said. Some people were cheerful, some people were emotional and some people were flat-out sobbing as they clung to their fellow French friends. Elise didn't have anyone to say goodbye to. All her farewells had been bid in the summer.
Elise had been rudely woken up in the morning and shepherded onto the beautiful cyan carriage, completed with white and gold decoration. She had to change hurriedly and, still half-asleep, stumbled to where they would be setting off. A dark feeling washed through her. What had happened in the summer had evidently messed with her emotions. She was feeling nervous, for Merlin's sake. Nervous about the Hogwarts students, nervous about the Durmstrang and Ilvermorny students, nervous about broom racing-
Elise didn't have enough money to buy a decent broom, a fact that kept coming up at Beauxbatons. She had endured the teasing with a scowl and punch.
The beautiful girl delicately climbed out of the carriage, into the Hogwarts courtyard. She knew English - she had taught herself it at home. Elise had expected a bit more of Hogwarts, but had to admit, the school was grand. She caught a glimpse of herself in her small pocket mirror that she so often carried. The early awakening had evidently taken its toll - her lips were a touch dry, her hair faded and her eyes had slight dark circles underneath them.
She sighed and carried on, making room for other students as they all crowded into the courtyard of Hogwarts. Her classmates looked casual and elegant enough to make an impression on these English people. Elise peered at everyone, feeling annoyed as she always was these days. Perhaps she could find a spirit to match her own, some time. But for now - it was the anti-social life for her.────── ☆ ───────

All week Florian had been excited to have been selected to take part in the broom race that was to happen at Hogwarts. His older brothers were jealous as per usual, but they knew that their brother was the best, so they couldn't be too upset. Of course, they would never tell Florian that. The night before he spent packing and readying everything, hoping the trip would go well.
Florian enjoyed the carriage ride to Hogwarts. He spent a lot of the ride chatting with a budding friend of his, Rosa Swann. She seemed like quite the upstanding and high-class person, which is who he normally associated with. Not to mention, she was exceedingly beautiful, and she certainly knew it. That was why he had asked her to the ball, of course. As they finished chatting, his thoughts revolved around the upcoming broom race. Beauxbatons was known for their broom racing skills, and he planned to not only bring honor to his school, but to his family. He wanted to make those older brothers of his proud. Usually, he would have been glad that they weren't able to join him his trip to Hogwarts, as, no doubt, their bullying would ensue no matter the location, but he wished they could see him in action. Perhaps this win would bring him the respect he felt he deserved.
After some time, they finally touched down in front of the castle. Their Headmaster had noted that they were about to land, and reminded the students that they were there to teach. 'Teach... But of course! Hogwarts students, and even the other schools, had very little knowledge of broom racing! he thought. This would certainly give him the upper hand and he began to feel confident of their now assured win. He hopped out of the carriage ahead of Rosa and held out his hand for her to grip as she exited. "Grasp my hand, Mademoiselle." he said. He was sure she would appreciate this gesture, as their upbringing called for chivalry.
He then turned to take a look at the castle courtyard. To be honest... it seemed a bit... well... drab compared to the wonderous Rococo cliffside Château that the Beauxbatons lived in. I mean... the place was almost falling apart! He turned to Rosa and said, "I was certainly expecting better from Hogwarts, quelle tragédie!" What a tragedy!

[font=Monotype Corsiva]Enzo pushed open the door of the carriage that he had ridden in, then with his head up high he stoically stepped out, placing his foot on Scottish land for the first time and his deep blue eyes darted around. The first thing he did was quickly examine each aspect of the school ahead of him, from the scenery surrounding it to the design and build of the Hogwarts castle itself. The castle stood proudly in front of him, and even though he much preferred the Beauxbatons castle and hated to admit it, it was still quite the sight. He didn't let his facial expression show any sign of awe or interest as he turned and lugged his trunk out of the carriage and then dragged it towards himself before turning back around to see the castle again.
It seemed as if most of the other French students were already engaging in conversations between themselves which Enzo didn't dare to join in. He had a tendency to always assume the worst in people and rarely gave anyone a chance to prove him wrong. He would be lying if he said it wasn't even just a little awkward that he wasn't even making an attempt to mingle with the others, but he was way too stubborn to change that. He then placed his luggage upright and sat down on top of it and leaned forward resting his elbow on his leg then his chin on the top of his hand. His shaggy golden blond hair draped over his forehead, slightly covering his eyes as he emanated a pretty unapproachable and detached energy.
He presumed that the next few weeks would be extremely hectic with all the events such as the ball and the broom racing, so this was probably the most quiet he would get for the next while, so with a small sigh as he watched and waited to see how the next few minutes would enfold.

She watched the Beauxbaton students exit their carriages elegantly, forming groups corresponding to social status. Some seemed excited, while others were simply unamused. Lana remained standing in the middle of the courtyard, her eyes scanning each and every person around her.
There was a girl with long blonde hair, her features seemingly pretty. Though her beautiful facade wore an expression of dread, as if she'd rather be anywhere else. Lana couldn't blame her, as it really wasn't that much of a fantastic place.
Her eyes then darted to a boy, his manner quite similar to the girl's. He didn't look like he hated being here though, more so just disappointed, as if he expected more from them. She looked at his group distastefully as she turned her head, her focus now falling upon someone familiar.
She stared at Enzo for a moment, knowing this moment would have come eventually. She contemplated whether or not to go up to him, figuring they'd just argue again like last time. Though still- something told her it was necessary, making her existence known to him.
Deciding she had nothing better to do, Lana strode over carefully; tapping his shoulder lightly as she approached. A faint smile was present, though it certainly wasn't genuine. No, it was more of a malicious sort of grin, one that intended spite. There were so many ways she could start the conversation, though she chose it was better to be modest.
"How was the trip?"
She asked this politely, though both of them knew there was sarcasm clinging to her voice. Either she'd put on a little show and act as if they were perfectly compatible, or they'd simply bicker the entire time. It was too bad she didn't care about either outcome.

interacting with: @Amadea Campbell as Sylviane Favreau | mentioning: @Eyre Reeves as Delphine DesmaraisAs the carriages softly touched upon the ground, Amaury stepped from the enclosed space he had been confined to since France and onto the grassy earth of the Hogwarts courtyard. Although he found the need to duck down as he made his way through the opening, he instinctively straightened his spine as his feet touched the ground. Slouching was no posture for a wizard of his status, he well knew. Besides, he wasn't sure he could slouch if he wanted to. After fourteen years, it was like an invisible string held his chin high, his shoulders back and his head tall.
The tall boy stepped through the crowds with ease, making his way towards the outside of the pack. There was no reason to be surrounded by students on all sides as he searched for his twin, even when he towered over most of them. She, too, would be taller than most, but Amaury still strained to locate her through the throngs of students. But of course, she would be looking for him as well, so he simply stayed put and continued to scan the crowds, an air of coolness emanating from him as he leaned against a carriage with his hands in his pockets. As his eyes jumped to each head that peeked over the pack, he caught a glimpse of short brown hair belonging to the inimitable Delphine Desmarais, and nearly made his way over to say hello, but she was swallowed by the crowd before he could move. He stood taller, searching where he knew she had just been standing, but the girl had disappeared.
Just then, he turned to face the opposite side of the crowd as a faint call of his name fell upon his ears. It must have been none other than Sylvie calling for him, clearly having as much luck as Amaury had had in searching for her. He pushed himself off of the carriage, and, with a sigh, began to make his way once more through the throngs of students. He kept his eyes pinned on the sky just above far side of the group as he wove his way through, effortlessly avoiding toes and trunks.
"Ici, Sylvie," "Here, Sylvie," he called as he approached, spotting her dark hair through the heads of other French students. He removed his hands from his pockets as he moved into a pocket in the crowd, standing on the other side of his twin's trunk. "Comment était votre voyage?" "How was your trip?"

Benjamin's carriage ride to Hogwarts was the most spectacular thing he'd ever experienced - besides his first trip to Beauxbatons, of course. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft was fabulous. He stretched his head outside to see the school towering over him. "Wow!" he exclaimed. "That school is so incredible, just on the outside! I wonder what it's like on the inside - it's probably amazing!" Benjamin continued going on like this to the other in the carriage until they stopped the carriage. At this point, Benjamin was having trouble controlling himself. It was just so beautiful! Ben couldn't take his eyes off the school until his friend tapped him. "Come on Ben!" they said with an eye roll and a smile. "I'm coming!" Ben said. He stepped out of the carriage that he had been in from France to here and stretched. He was most certainly cramped up after all that. Benjamin proceeded to grab his things and then stumbled after everyone who were a bit ahead of him. Putting everything on one arm, he fixed the white collar on his shirt and smiled at the people he passed. "Hello!" he said enthusiastically, getting a few looks from the others. He shrugged and kept walking. Ben looked down at his clothes. Wasn't he supposed to be in uniform? He sighed and kept walking towards Hogwarts.
