A Train Wreck
Dating Back At the Start of The Year:
Aldor Humblelow was finally here, since the very first moment that he received his letter from Hogwarts, he could not help but dream about what the future could bring for him, of course, he had stumbled upon many problems in his way to becoming a wizard, but his biggest step was right there in front of him, and so, the boy stepped inside the train, searching for an empty place he could sit at.
After finally finding said place, he just waited with a patient smile, holding one of his favorite books between his arms, the excited steps of the students, the voices of the proud families saying goodbye to their beloved children, this would make anyone's heart feel moved, anyone, except for Aldor, after a brief encounter with a Pure-blood witch at the Diagon Alley, he is unsure whether he should, or should not be on this train, after all, even though the fall of the Dark Lord, made the traditions of Muggle-borns not being accepted unpopular, this ideology was still an important part of the culture.
What could he do? It is not like he can just go out of the train and give up, he is not willing to back up after getting this far, but even with his determination, Aldor couldn't help but think that there's more to this than being worried and lonely, for the first time ever, the boy felt regretful about choosing to sit at an empty compartment.
But it is not that bad really, maybe someone will come, maybe not, but at least he has the power of books on his side.

A Train Wreck
After waving goodbye to her parents at the platform - she was surprised they even came to drop her off - Aella wandered through the train trying to find an empty compartment to sit in so far she had been unsuccessful. She was worried nobody would want to sit with her and she’d be alone she had grown to be used to spending time with herself but Hogwarts is a different place she hoped maybe she could make a few friends, real friends, for once.
She noisily looked in each compartment until she found an almost empty one with just a boy sitting inside. Good enough she thought.
She opened the door to the compartment and sat opposite the boy who had a book clenched tightly in his arms. Aella put her bag down beside her with a sigh and she grabbed out a notepad and pencil, she assumed the boy wouldn’t want to speak to her since he had a book out she thought he would probably just want to read it and not be disturbed.
She sat sideways leaning against the window and she brushed her hair behind her ears. She started to feel slightly rude for not speaking a word to the boy yet “You’re okay with me sitting here right?”
Hope it’s okay I joined?

A Train Wreck
The morning had been a whirling storm of stress to say the least. Lace spent most of it trying to convince her mother that they had packed plenty of spare clothes and that she would be fine. Lace's mother had a way of worrying that could put most mothers to shame. Lace would have to say goodbye to her father and baby brother before leaving their home. 'Mother wasn't fond of the idea of them joining us to the station, and neither were the other wizards and witches apparently'. Though after a quick cinnamon bagel and a warm cup of tea they made way to the train station. This would be the first time Lace experiences the wizarding world, she had lived as a muggle for the most part, despite her being a half-blood.
It was moments before the train would be leaving, they had hardly made it in time. Lace's mother Hannah scoops her up in a big hug and uses her fingers to fluff Lace's neat curls. "I love you, remember to stay safe, and follow the rules please!" Hannah says, her voice gaining volume as Lace begins to dart for the train doors. "Dont worry mama I'll be good, love you too!" Lace shouts, looking back for only a moment before entering the train. She could hear the chatter of other kids like her, kids with magic. It was all so very exciting, but as usual she would play it cool. 'Mama had told me she made some of her best friends aboard this train, so I have to choose wisely.' she thought to herself.
She passed by a full carriage with a group of boys who seem to be roughhousing. 'Definitely not that one'. As she passed by the next she noticed a girl who was bragging about how talented she already was. 'Ugh I hate her already', thought Lace. After passing a few more unappealing carriages she stopped when she noticed two quiet children. One boy with a firm grip on a book in one hand, and the other a girl who seemed to be focused on a notebook of her own. Just before arriving at the carriage she heard the girls voice "You're okay with me sitting here right?". Lace peaks her honey-brown eyes around the door. "Might I join you guys as well?" Lace asks, tucking a stray ringlet curl behind her left ear.

The boy's emerald like eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked up to meet the person who greeted him. He could not help but smile softly and shake his head.
''Not at all- feel free to stay all the time that you want-''
Surprisingly, instead of going back to his book, he simply putted it by his side, as he played with his hair, trying to calm the atmosphere, but what could he do? Even when he capable of starting a conversation, she probably does not want to be bothered, could that be it?
Whatever it was, it did not matter, now someone else joined as well, and even Aldor, the awkward and shy kid, decided to accept this sittuation, and greet both of them.
''I am alright with you staying- If you desire to stay, but I would like to know if the lady is alright with us being here-''
Aldor seemed to act more like an adult than a kid from his age, always centered, focused on what is going and analizing everything, and the most obvious trait, he is quite a gentleman, why would he ask her if she was alright with them being there? After all, Aldor got there first, but really that was not the boy's style, growing up in a house with only his aunt and his aunt's friends, made him quite sensible to everything that was happening, many of his aunt's friends were widows and people who overall had problems, this life style, taught Aldor to be quick, and learn of the sittuation that is currently happening, making sure to make everyone comfortable.
And so, Aldor waited for an answer, with the same joyful smile.

Alexander waved to his parents, hastily climbing into the train. He knew it was rude to leave his parents in such a hurry, especially since he wouldn't be seing them again for the better part of a year, but he was too excited; he had been introduced to what was essentially an entirely new world, full of magic. He had genuinely thought the letter from hogwarts had been a joke, but after a weak laugh at his parents, their faces had told them this was genuine.
Alexander wandered down the train, occasionaly glancing into the compartments. He didn't particularly mind where he sat; the only reason he was looking into the compartments was to see what people were doing. Magic was a new topic to him, being a muggleborn. Everyone else seemed to know so much more than him, and he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable whenever he couldn't continue a conversation because someone had asked about his favourite quidditch team.
What even is quidditch? He wondered, thinking back to the strange shop he had seen in that odd street. The windows had been adorned with Broomsticks of various sizes and...brands? He wasnt exactly sure.
Alexander shook his head slightly, bringing himself back to reality. Come on, just find a compartment already, He told himself. It'll hardly be difficult, there's so many!
Then, while staring into a compartment behind him, he abruptly stopped himself. He had been about to walk into someone who was currently standing outside of another carriage. They were asking the occupants of the compartment if they could come in. A boy sitting inside had replied in a manner that seemed surprisingly courteous for a child.
Well, this seems good enough. He though, knocking on the window of the compartment.
"hey," he said, with a faint irish accent. "can I sit with you lot?"
That's a genuine question, can I sit with you lot? If you don't want me to join, let me know.

Aella didn’t even get a chance to thank the boy for letting her stay in the compartment before another student peered through the doors asking to sit with them. When the boy who was already in the compartment answered Aella laughed slightly in a soft tone he spoke much more sophisticated than most eleven year olds it made him seem mature which she found intriguing.
Then another boy stood at the compartment door with the girl and he to requested to sit with them “You can both sit here” Aella shrugged it didn’t bother her besides the other boy had got here first so it should be his choice but he didn’t seem to mind when she or the other girl wanted to sit with him so Aella doubted he would care if one extra person joined.
Aella moved her bag from the seat beside her and she put it by her feet so there was more room for the two new people to sit.
Curiously she observed the two of them as they stood in the same compartment as her. She tried to figure out them just by looking at them and she knows don’t judge a book by it’s cover or whatever the saying is but she was going to be sitting with these people for a while she was allowed to be nosey.

Lace sort of stared for a moment waiting for a response. The boy who had been grasping his book says, ''I am alright with you staying- If you desire to stay, but I would like to know if the lady is alright with us being here-'' . Lace was a tad stunned for a moment realizing he sounded a lot older then he looked. Before she had the chance to step in and grab a seat another boy approaches her flank. Lace quickly adjusted herself to stand out of his way, tightening her grasp on the book that had been held against her chest. She opens her mouth to begin a sentence but is cut off before she can muster up the words she would like to say. "hey," the new boy says, his voice similar to something she had heard from her mothers Irish friends. "can I sit with you lot?"
Lace looked at the boy, something about him seemed more normal. Like he was just as lost as she was. All of this wizarding world was new to her, and honestly a bit intimidating. The girl that had been sitting in the carriage breaks the brief silence. “You can both sit here”, the girl says. Lace gives a kind smile to the boy behind her, "I suppose we both found ourselves a carriage then." She says giggling. She noticed the girl moved her things from the seat next to her. As gracefully as she can she tucks her skirt underneath her and takes the seat beside the girl, brushing yet another stray auburn curl out of her face. "I'm Lace (Lacey), its nice to meet you all." she says, her eyes darting between them. This was all very new to Lace, having been from a private muggle school. Though her mother said kindness and a soft smile will go a long way.

The boy would smile at them, this is going quite nicely considering this was his first interaction with wizards from his age, apart of that one girl at Diagon Alley, he would take a deep breath, as he realized it wasn't fair that he had not introduced himself yet.
" I'm Aldor, Aldor Humbleglow, you know like that- writer with the same last name-"
It sounded like fiction, but it was true, in fact, the book he was holding is one of the titles from said witch, he wasn't amazingly famous, but she had a good reputation among wizards, yet, he did not seem to be bragging about having that last name, in fact, he wasn't, his shy nature wouldn't allow him to do that.
"So- who and where do you guys come from? I am from- Ireland-"
The boy would give them another kind smile, something about him was definitely odd, maybe even evil, what was it? Those emerald like eyes were hiding something, but how could you not smile back to this Irish kid? He was actually adorable, the shy smile, his innocent green eyes, his quiet voice, the terrible addiction to books, he was nice, what else could you ask?

Upon being told he could sit in the compartment, Alexander flopped into one of the window seats. He propped his elbow up against the window and rested his head against his hand. He took a brief moment to survey the others in the train. Aldor peaked his interest.
He had mentioned being related to some author. Alexander had never been particularly into reading, but 'humbleglow' didn't really sound like a name a normal person would have (he refused to refer to non magical people as muggles; in his opinion, the name was quite insulting), so he assumed the books were written by some witch or wizard.
Alexander couldn't help but feel there was something ever so slightly...off... about Aldor. He couldn't quite say what it was. Perhaps the tone that was far too mature for his age, or perhaps that barely noticeable look in his eyes...
Then again, it was probably wasn't anything. Aldor seemed far to innocent to be up to anything nefarious.
"Well, my name's Alexander," he said, shifting his focus away from Aldor and towards the question he had asked. "But call me Alex. Alexander has too many syllables." He muttered with a quiet laugh. "I'm from Ulster."

Aella smiled back at the boy Aldor trying to be polite, she hadn’t heard of the author he was talking about she wasn’t much of a reader but she probably had some of their books without even knowing her parents had a massive library in their house. She thought it was a strange name but then she thought she has a weird name too so she couldn’t really say anything.
“I’m Aella Andino” She introduced herself because the others were and she looked around at them
She was leaning against the window so directly beside her on the other side was Alexander though he told us to call him Alex. Curly ginger hair, green eyes, and freckles across his face, he seemed nice enough.
Then the girl who sat on the same side as Aella, her name was Lace. Aella noted how the girls eyes darted between the three of them she wondered if it was nerves or if she was being polite and she was making sure to look at all three of them. The girl had brown honey coloured eyes and her hair twisted in an afro that framed her face quite well and the ends of her hair were blonde.
Then the boy who she met first Aldor, he seemed very mature for his age and his smile there was something about it, something about him that made Aella curious. On the outside the boy appeared nice but who knows what’s behind his green emerald eyes and kind smile.
Aella wanted to find out more about them, part of her was asking in a friendly way the other part just wanted to figure them out and know everything about them. “What houses do you think you’ll all get?”
