Sort of lost

Fyodor's first impression to the school had been one of two things. Number one, it was grand. Although it couldn't possibly be any more larger than Ilvermorny's own school, the new surroundings surely made it seem more marvelous.
As for the second, he thought the students here were nothing but annoying. Their eyes seemed to follow him wherever he went, causing a certain distaste to form immediately. There were a couple of people that had caught his eye, though they weren't all that important.
The only thing he had going for him was Charles, but even him he had seemed to lose track of. Marvelous friend you are, Fyo..
He walked the corridors alone, not bothering to engage with most students in the hall. With his hands in his pockets, Fyodor's eyes seemed to search for something interesting to interact with. It was weird, really, to be attending a school so foreign. All of the bratty little British kids seemed to stare at him as he passed, looking at him as if he were some sort of mutant creature.
This, he disregarded, and instead turned sharply upon a corner. He really had lost his sense of direction, though he dare not ask for help. No, his pride meant more than that to him. Instead, he chose to continue quietly through the hall, the distinct chattering from students buzzing all around him.
He spotted a stairwell, though where it led to, he had no idea. He figured not to venture too far, as getting terribly lost wasn't particularly in his favor. That, and what his headmaster had told them before they arrived. It was dangerous here..
Fyodor seemed to stop in the middle of the vast corridor, students angrily dodging him to continue on their way.
There was no point in wandering around if he was just going to get lost five minutes in- therefore, however much he disliked it, he'd have to ask for help.
His eyes flicked from student to student, searching for someone who looked like they knew their way around the place. They soon fell upon a girl with brown hair, her appearance seeming friendly enough. Her robes were black, paired with a yellow tie. He couldn't remember the house name for the life of him, though he could distinctively remember it was one of the nicer ones. Hufflepoof? No that wasn't right..
He approached her carefully, hands still in his pockets. As he grew nearer, he tapped her on the shoulder lightly to grab her attention.
"Could you help me? I'm sort of lost.." He spoke softly, his expression now somewhat inviting. Despite Fyodor being the arrogant jerk he was, he'd not dare speak to a pretty girl negatively. If there was one thing his mother taught him, it was that.
