Alina thought this was a great idea the very moment it popped into her head. She thought it out just a moment before running and grabbing a notebook and began listing out some details on what she could do, where she could do it, what she might use to promote the service, and all the like. Then she took action, making her sign, posting it within the Small Hall, and got the Abandoned Classroom in order.

It all seemed like a very great idea until she saw she had sign ups and actual people ready to hear what she had to say - or rather - what the cards had to say. She had been given a deck of Tarot cards by her father many years ago and as she used them, he had updated her decks and purchased her others is case some needed cleansed or just a rest. She knew enough to know what she was doing but she was no expert.

This was intended to be a sort of fun activity for the upcoming month of October which ended in one of Alina's favorite holidays. She always loved Halloween and the fact that everyone could find something they favored about the holiday, whether it was dressing up, the scary nature of it all, the decorating.

But no. No more doubting. She stood up and walked to the corridor to meet her very first appointment. "Autumn Ivy," she said, speaking the name of her fellow Hufflepuff. She didn't know Autumn well but she knew her, name to face. They had once attempted a late night game of Truth or Dare together and she was at the The Great Cauldron Disaster in the Potions classroom.

She motioned her into the classroom and handed her a piece of paper. "Welcome to the First Annual Tarot Card Readings by Alina. I'm Alina, Alina Rosier. Please sign at the bottom."

And now that all that part was over she smiled, feeling more at ease. If giving this form was going to be what made her feel the most anxious, she was ready for all the rest. "You're welcome to some tea or lemonade and some pastries or candy," there was a small table laid out with all things delicious. "When you're ready, we will begin."

Then Alina went and sat down in the middle of the floor which she had decorated for the occasion, drapes of fabric in all colors everywhere, candles (but spaced safely away from the fabric) lit. Even a nice citrus scent filled the space. There were blankets and pillows and other items so that her client felt comfortable and at ease but no music because their focus would be on the cards.

Mentioning: @Alina Rosier
Autumn had no idea why she had signed up for this. This had honestly been such a stupid idea. Seriously, what had she been thinking? It just didn't make any sense. Honestly, why tarot cards? What had led her here? Sleep deprivation? A desperate need to be able to feel like she knew at least a bit about where on earth she was going with her life, so desperate that she was wasting time having some cards say it to her?

Ugh.

However idiotic her choice, she was here now, and she had to calm herself and deal with it instead of pointlessly whining and regretting her actions. Even if pointlessly whining and regretting her actions was her thing. Even if.

Begrudgingly, Autumn entered the abandoned classroom. Inside, she was quite shocked- although she'd never admit- at the transformation the ancient classroom had gone through. Blankets, pillows, cushions and candles had given it an aura which it had not previously had. It was cosy and welcoming and comfortable and ominous, all at once.

Autumn decided that she liked this new version of the classroom.

She froze as Alina spoke her name, and remembered that she wasn't alone.

Autumn knew Alina. They had played truth or dare with a group once. They had also both been a part of the great cauldron accident. However, they had never really talked face-to-face, without being in a group together. This had the potential to be very, very interesting.

Alina spoke some more and handed Autumn a piece of paper to sign. Autumn did so, wrote the date on and wondered whether Alina was afraid of being sued. Could Autumn have sued Alina if not for the piece of paper she had just then signed? Could wizards sue each other? She was unaware when her mouth opened, and surprised when words came out.

"You should probably make copies of that. I could tear that single piece in half, cast incendio, or drop it in an incinerator if we were to do things the old fashioned way, pretend it never existed and that I never signed it, and still sue you over my reading if I decide to do something stupid about it."

Then she realised that had come out wrong.

Well, too late now.

She handed the paper back to Alina and watched the girl's face slowly drift into a grin. How nervous had she been about the legal disclaimer? Now Rosier was smiling, at ease, and content. It was disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Seeing a smile on Alina's face did not make her better. It definitely didn't. In fact, she felt like barfing. She totally did. Alina's ease was not in any way contagious, and it did not make a smile also slowly creep itself onto Autumn's face. That didn't happen. Even if it had happened, nobody would know or realise; Autumn erased her face back to its resting state; monotone with a hint of disgust and tiredness, her usual death glare and scowl.

Alina offered Autumn some pastries. Autumn couldn't say yes. She had given up some weight in the past few weeks. It had taken skipping dinner a few times and not eating sweets apart from some from her dorm room, which had honestly just been last efforts to eat enough to stay conscious and focused.

However, a cup of tea never hurt anyone. She carefully poured herself a cup of english morning. It had a rich, deep taste, contained little to no calories and no sugar, had vitamin b and created new red blood cells. Perfect for Autumn.

She looked Alina in the eyes.

"Thank you for the tea. I would like a succe- actually, no. Never mind. I would like a self-healing spread, if that's alright."

Interacting with @Autumn Ivy

Her comment about her disclaimer made her smile and she knew it wasn't set it stone or really legal, but it made her sound a little more legitimate than a girl who was playing with cards. Alina was no seer, and not old enough to know how well she would do in the class of Divination, but she was reading Tarot cards for many years now.

"Self-healing Spread it is," she said and waited for Autumn to sit down before explaining the process to her. "You'll choose a total of six cards, one at a time, and hand them to me please." After doing as follows, she placed them with three on the bottom, two in the middle, and one on top, creating a pyramid formation.

Now that the cards were laid out, it was time to tell what they might mean. She began with the bottom of the pyramid, the middle. "Often The Moon can indicate issues with mental health. It's saying that now is a time to take stock in the areas that are causing you undue emotional or spiritual pressure. It's especially important to take care of your own needs before extending yourself to others."

To her left of that was the Seven of Coins. She pointed to it. "When you draw this card in context of a health question, you want to look closely at your goals and how you are defining health. Set a small achievable goal and work towards that. Keep records, then gradually move your post higher."

The only other card at the bottom of the pyramid was the Four of Wands. "When this appears when thinking of health, it is encouraging. You've got a lot to be happy about and thankful for in regards to your health status. Focus on that, and think positively."

Now moving onto the middle. "The reversed King of Coins tells you that your health can be improved if you make a point to face and to vent negative feelings. Watch and guard against a tendency to think of yourself as a failure just because you may not have yet met certain goals that you set for yourself. Honor yourself as you are. Your health improves as a result."

"The Sun card is saying its a great time to take some time off if you can and just enjoy life. You can take some of this time to think about your approaches to things and how they have directly affected your body. Figure on what you've been doing right, and adjust what hasn't been working."
And now to the last card, the top of the pyramid.
"When Judgement is pulled in reverse in connection with health, it's a signal to accept that it is okay for you to make mistakes or be wrong on occasion. It's a reminder to accept change and to accept that the past is over and that letting go of anger will help you feel better."

Now that those cards were done, she looked to the girl curiously because of something she said - or rather didn't say - at the beginning. "Hope some of that helps! ...Are you sure you didn't want the Success one?"

Let your confidence shine, pretty girl. <3
