! Snowball Fight ! Event

The snowball fight had the feeling of coming to a close. James knew he wanted to make as many allies as possible. Unlike other teams he saw around the playing field, he was not planning on ending with any betrayals. He was going to end with a strong team. It was him and the North twins right now, behind their small snow fort, and their most identifiable enemies were Anatole Evans, and the group including Lucette, Eris, and Ezekiel. However, as James looked towards that particular group, he saw them falling apart and turning on each other. He wondered if he should let them destroy each other, or if he should use this as an opportunity to make allies with one of them by helping them deal with the others. James gritted his teeth, thinking hard about this.
"Mari! Clary!" he shouted, getting their attention, "Let's get as many allies as we can and finish strong!" He paused for a moment, then added, "But go ahead and keep throwing at Anatole..."
James bent down and tore off his gloves, exposing his bare hands to the cold. He dropped the gloves on the ground and scooped up a ball of freezing snow, packing it together. He emerged from behind their snow wall, and looked around once more for who to help and who to ignore or attack. He was torn between possibly Siege or Serena... but he couldn't quite figure out who he wanted to grab onto his team.
Finally, he stood up and shouted out the name he chose.
"SERENA!"
Not knowing whether or not he got her attention, James waved wildly for her to join them. He ducked down again, careful to avoid anymore snowballs. He knew that there were a number of people who had gone for Serena and attacked with their snowy furry, but that wouldn't stop James from picking Serena.
James also noticed something he rather appreciated and respected...
After getting hit with James' snowball, Lucette had turned around and waved a friendly wave. That made James decide that he wanted her with them for the last part of the game.
James stood up again and yelled at Lucette.
"LUCETTE! Truce!"
And with that, James took a step and hurled his snowball forward to hit Ezekiel.

ACTION: Throw Snowball at Ezekiel while offering truce to Serena and Lucette. (1,3,5,6)

Eris grinned, dusting stray snow off of her body. Somebody had screamed truce to one of her friends, but Eris wasn't going to give up so quickly. Ducking behind their fortress again, Eris turned to see Ezekiel and Lecette aiming snowballs at each other.

"Nooo, you traitorous traitors!" It hadn't sounded stupid in her mind, but out loud the words 'traitorous traitors' wasn't witty, or dignified. Sighing at her poor choice of words, the little-red head burst out of the fortress and looked around the playing field. Her friends were now engaged in warfare behind their little fort, and everyone else was busy throwing snowballs.

Remembering her promise to hit the Deputy Headmaster back when he least expected it, Eris searched for him. Finding a group of Professors near the edge of the battlefield, Eris ducked down to start making a snowball. Once she had a sufficiently sized snowball, she looked back at the group of professors with a wicked smile.

She aimed the snowball at Ackerley, than quickly ducked behind a tree. She didn't want him to see, and then get in trouble for hitting a professor. It would be horrible if she got expelled for hitting a snowball at the Deputy Headmaster, but revenge was going to be sweet.

"Yes!" Anatole was beyond excited that he had successfully hit Claryssa---right where he called it as well! Looking at Claryssa's rage fueled appearance, Anatole decided to run the only other place he could find: into the middle of battle. Snowballs barely flew over his head, whacking their targets in their respective places. His cloak was wet and soggy by now from falling over, and Anatole noticed he had a new set of chill bumps on his arms. It was cold, but it was a fun, active environment regardless of the tension.

With deep, heavy breaths, he kept whipping his head back at Claryssa, her face growing more red by the second. Her bright crimson hands molded a snowball; her eyes directly locked on him. Hopefully, she missed. It was the one thing Anatole didn't need right now.

Exhausted, he tripped over a root, his face hitting the freezing snow. Quickly, he released his foot from the root, scrambling to his feet. He couldn't let Claryssa get him while he was weak.

A boy across the way from him was calling out to Claryssa with a frightened smile. Anatole grinned, forming one more snowball to hopefully pelt this new guy too.

ACTION: Narrowly evade snowballs and throw a snowball at James Lachoneus [1,5].

The snowball left his hand with ease, and trail-blazed through the cold snowy air, straight towards Serena. As the snowball moved inch by inch, feet by feet, time seemed to slow down almost to a halt. 
-Serena? F**K! Why? Why...was she there? Ugh so damn irritating when god plays his games like this...I hope it doesn't hit...- 

The spiraling snowball missed her by a literal hair, almost hitting her face. It was a surprise that it even went to her, but what was more surprising is...Seeing her Angry? Yeah, Siege never thought he'd live the day to see her angry, but there she was, pretty damn pissed. Was it something he did? I mean partially yes, it wasn't supposed to be directed at her...was it?

"Ahh you- you jerk!" Serena would say, prompting a confused sound coming from Siege. Now things were real interesting, he wasn't even mad that she was mad, he was just too surprised that Serena was mad at all! He never knew that someone as small, nice and cute as her could ever get mad! 

"Serena mad?...Worth it? Maybe...But I'm pretty damn tired...I think I might go for a bit of a rest eh?" Siege would say, as he intentionally lost his balance in an attempt to dodge snowballs, and to get the rest that he thought he needed...

ACTION: Dodge all incoming Snowballs by pulling off a classic Mellowrose... [1,2,3,5]

Michelle watched as her snowball collided with another and exploded into a puff of white powder, it made her upset that she had failed but the snow was pretty to watch as it fell. She scooped out where the snowball had come from and she saw another Hufflepuff looking disappointed, she recognized her as the Hufflepuff prefect Serena Towers. 

Michelle shook her head, weren't Hufflepuffs supposed to stay together, wasn't everything about loyalty she was a little upset but she stopped herself before she got emotionally invested. It's only a game! she reminded herself. Well, if Serena wanted to play that way I guess Hufflepuffs were fair game. 

Michelle dropped to grab one of her snowballs to find a new target, maybe a Hufflepuff? She searched the grounds for another familiar face and pulled back her arm when she had thought she found a good one, James Lachoneus, the boy with the panda socks. She was just about to throw when she stopped, no this felt wrong it's another Hufflepuff! So she shook her head and looked again for another victim. Then she spotted her real target,  a Gryffindor boy she didn't recognize at all. She pulled back her arm and threw the snowball straight for him, she hoped he wouldn't see it coming. 

Action: Throw Snowball at Anatole Evans and turn away as if she hadn't done anything. (1, 5, 4, 6)

 

Eri had been reading when she heard giggles and shouts from outside. She put her book into her satchel and looked out the window. A snowball fight how exciting! She quickly left the common room and practically flew down the stairs. She ran quickly through the corridors until she reached the field. At last, she could join in the fun of everyone else.

She walked behind a group of professors wondering who she would throw her first snowball out.

She walked through the crisp snow. She decided to throw her first one at the first person she saw next to her.

Closing her eyes she turned in a random amount of steps in a circle. Opening her eyes she saw Professor Ackerley Blackburn. She crouched down in the snow and made a big snow ball from the cold crisp snow. Hopefully, he wouldn't be mad. It was a game after all. She wanted to make her snowball fly as fast as she could make it. So she continued to pack the snow together until the snowball was a smooth round ball. She put it in her hand and aimed it at the professor. She through it and waited to see if she hit him.


ACTION: Throw a snowball at Professor Ackerley Blackburn.(1,5,7,9)

Ava smiled as her snowball hit her target once again, for the third time in a row. She really was happy about everything that happened recently. Well, maybe not everything, but most of the things that happened recently were very giving her a reason to smile even more. She tried to climb a tree, but she stopped halfway through, remembering everything that happened recently. The girl falling, the boy trying to catch her and falling down himself and Ava trying not to cry... It was mortifying.  

She finally shook herself out of this state and climbed on one of the branches. 'A good hiding spot is a key to victory.' she remembered her brother's words when they had their own little fights. There was always a rule that they can't hit Ava too hard so she was almost always safe from both her siblings and her parents. The fights were a distant memory at this point. Three years ago. The last one happened three years ago unless we are counting the wannabe fight a year ago. It didn't feel like a snowball fight at all. Only three people, no trees, and the snow was very... lumpy and halfway melted.

She then scanned the area and picked her target.

Frozen, Bloom looked at Ben. Best girlfriend ever... That phrase had stuck with her. Has she? She hadn't known what she did to make their relationship strong. She doesn't even know how to make their relationship strong and yet, it was. Bloom felt her heart beating faster and faster, and her lips creating a smile; her laughing lines exposed. For some reason, only those words had made her feel the most giddy. Immediately, Bloom forgot about Reid Kovacs and kept her mind only on Ben Eckenrode, the person who has shown her how special she was for most of her first experience at Hogwarts.

Not getting hit by any snowball this time, Bloom thought it was a better route to be throwing them at others. Steeping out from behind the leave-less bush, she looked around and everyone seemed to be focusing on their own friends and sense of revenge. Bloom, however, decided to be playful. She gathered snow in her hand and balled it up as much as she could, her mittens getting wetter and wetter by the second and she threw the snowball in Ben's direction.

He was close enough that she hoped to hit him playfully and not too hard.

ACTION: Throw Snowball at Ben Eckenrode, playfully {1, 4,5,6}

SUCCESS: Serena Towers surprisingly actually aimed correctly. She almost hit Siege but the guy dodged last minute and her snowball ended up melting. You know what did hit though? Sabrina's snowball! It hit her in the back of the head.

SUCCESS: Adam Harringtom came to help out a stranger and almost did it. Sadly Siege dodged his snowball last minute too!

FAIL: Reyna Calthorn aimed for revenge with her heavily condensed snowball. Sadly it was so heavy that it ended up just hitting the ground before it reached him.

SUCCESS: Claryssa North threw her vengeance fueled snowball at Anatole Evans successfully! 

SUCCESS: Sabrina Hurst was getting a lot better at this! She successfully hit her target, Serena, in the back of the head. Oof!

SUCCESS: Lucette Brielle got her attack in on Ezekiel, successfully hitting him in the chest!

FAIL: Ezekiel Wasek completely failed at dodging Lucette's snowball. He got hit in the chest and lost balance so his own snowball ended up going off in the wrong direction and missed her.

FAIL: James Lachoneus tried to get Ezekiel but his snowball ended up hitting a random snowman that had been built in the grounds earlier. Whoops!

FAIL: Eris Elcan's revenge snowball was a total flop! It ended up crumbling before the Deputy Headmaster even saw it.

FAIL: Anatole Evans tried to dodge the incoming snowballs. Sadly he ended up getting hit by Claryssa North and by Michelle Lynch, before falling over and failing to hit James.

SUCCESS: Siege Aramastus Bal must have a lot of luck thinking about Professor Mellowrose. Because... apparently falling asleep... worked? He successfully dodged snowballs from Serena and Adam.

SUCCESS: Michelle Lynch threw her snowball at Anatole, successfully hitting him before quickly turning away as though she hadn't done anything. Lal la lal la laaa~

FAIL: Eri Windstone threw the snowball at Professor Blackburn but it ended up hitting an incoming snowball from Ava Silver instead.

FAIL: Ava Silver missed Eri because her snowball ended up hitting the one Eri threw at someone else!

SUCCESS: Bloom Silverton successfully threw a snowball at her boyfriend, totally playfully of course - because she was the best girlfriend!

Eri looked disapointed as her snowball hit ava silver's snowball. She was determind to hit somebody with a snowball. She took a couple steps away as she thought about who she would through a snowball at.

She standing only a few feet away from the group of teachers.

She scooped up some snow and started to make another snowball. This time she would throw it at Ava since she ruined her snowball that was going to hit professor blackburn. 

This was a revenge snowball and she wanted it to hit hard. She started compacting snow into a hard, smooth ball. This would fly fast causing the impact to hurt.  Grinning she looked to see if any more balls were flying at her.

She shivered as she held the cold snowball with her unhloved hands. Maybe she had gloves in her satchel. She contiued to make her ball smooth and compact. She really hoped it would hit Ava.

She held her ball and aimed. Then she fired it. She watched the snowball soar towards ava. She only hoped it would make it to her target this time and not get hit by another snowball like last time.

ACTION: throw revenge snowball at Ava silver (5,7,8,9)
