Magical Easter Egg Hunt

A snowy March came to an end with a surprisingly beautiful Easter weekend at Hogwarts. House elves were hard at work making eggs for students to find within and outside of the school. They were proud of their work this year and had a ton of eggs to distribute. Some were well hidden and others put in plain view for all to see. What prizes waited inside? What sweets? What gold? What curses? Unbeknownst to the House Elves, the Dominum Mask had been placed inside one of their eggs and an unsuspecting student was about to stumble onto it. No one would be prepared, but everyone would be excited for their treats.

Students were gathered around the Great Hall for Easter Breakfast before being released to find their prizes. They could search literally anywhere in or outside of the castle besides the bathrooms and common areas. Rules were announced before the game by the teachers and eventually a large bell range signalling the hunt.

Let the Hunt Begin!

Jake was exited for the Easter egg hunt it was a cool way to have fun with friends and try to find eggs.  Jake went off to find some eggs he moved around swiftly down the hall ways he noticed something like a rainbow just sitting in plain sight he tried to see were the shining light was coming from. I moved quietly towards the sparkly thing. He was so ready for this he brought a map of the inside of the school in 2-D. He saw that he was in the small hall because it glowed a bit where he was. He looked at the plant to see if it was in there what he found was?

Aubren had been familiar with Easter egg Hunts, it was a tradition her family did every year. She wasn't an expert egg finder, but the holiday brought back joyful memories for her. She always trusted her mind, and so, she decided to look for eggs in the library.

She ushered off to the library, a familiar place at best. Entering the large area, Aubren began her search in obvious places before searching in more complicated areas. She started from the shelves and worked her way between tables and chairs, eventually leading to her going to the windows and even under some tables.

Aubren began to move even quicker as she searched, hoping to find an egg and have the prize be worth some value to her. She hoped even more that no one would think to search here and find an egg in the same location before she did.

The Easter week had already been a busy one for James, with Quidditch and all. That, along with this newly announced "Easter-egg hunt." Regardless, he was excited. The prizes that could come were enough to encourage the boy to search, and so search he did.

With Quidditch on his mind, that was the place he decided to go. The Quidditch pitch, more accurately. Rushing through the corridors, James found himself at the grounds, and quickly finished the trip by jogging towards the field. The tall, intimidating structure of the pitch made James slightly nervous, but he assumed something would be hidden in the field. It was practically in plain sight, they call an egg hunt right before a Quidditch game? The coincidence was no coincidence in James's eyes, which the exact reason his first instinct was to go the Quidditch field. After he arrived, he looked up and down, north and south, west and east. He looked in every single observable corner. Something has to be here... He thought to himself.

Reed was still injured from a magical accident the day before. His arm hurt, and bandages were all over his chest, and right arm under his robes. The Prefect made a big mistake trying to use a spell way above his level, and paid the price. Even put another student in danger. Luckily no one found out, and the other Ravenclaw boy wasn't hurt but he sure felt the pain.

Hearing news of the egg hunt, Reed's thoughts went into overdrive right away. A place that would be easy enough to look around, yet not the first thing most people would think of....Then it hit him, and he limped off when the bell rang.

He walked all the way to the Owlery. Where else to put an egg? It would make sense, since there would be the stray owl nest with eggs once in a blue moon.

Eris had arrived in the great hall, excitement making her wake up earlier than usual. There was going to be an Easter egg hunt, and Eris could hardly wait. She had heard of muggle Easter egg hunts, where eggs were filled with candy and muggle money and couldn’t wait for a wizard egg hunt. That seemed a lot more fun, and apparently other people thought so too. Already the halls were full of people searching for eggs.

Eris decided just to search the great hall, as she was already in there and where would be a better place to put the egg than in plain sight.

Grinning, the small red- head began to search the great hall. Hopefully her searching would pay off and she would receive an amazing toy or candy in her egg. Hopefully she would find something ridiculously cool, hidden in plain site. That would give the Gryffindor prefect bragging rights. Eris started to walk around the Great Hall, searching the room intently. There had to be something in here.

Humming, Eris kept searching the Great hall, and under the four tables.

Anatole was excited beyond compare for this. Patricia always used to bring him to places like this in his favorite Sunday wear, and he would sprint around church grounds to find the greatest, largest silver egg he could hunt down. He was almost a small child again. It all brought back pleasant memories.

He knew the first place to check, a place that might just win him another contest. It might work out well.

Anatole ran up the stairs to the Astromony Tower, his feet as fast as lightning, ascending at the rhythm of a horse race. A wide smile on his face, he began panting, throwing open the door and hoping that he wouldn't get any strange thoughts again. The puddle had since evaporated from earlier. "Where...is it?!? Where are they?"

Frantically, he searched under the tables. Maybe an egg was clasped between a telescope, folded up. Sure! He checked between every single telescope, every roll of map, every single book case. At last, Anatole stared up through the large windows, staring up at the sun, hoping to see the shadow of an egg from a window.

It had been a while since Ben participated in an Easter Egg hunt. Normally at home it was for the little kids. This was a magical hunt with magical prizes. How could he turn that down? The Ravenclaw boy jumped at the shot to find some cool prizes. Wasn't sure what he would find but the good stuff as a kid was always hidden outside in the trees. That's where he would start this time.

Wonder if Bloom is coming...?

Once he got outside the doors he briskly walked towards a set of trees. Not the forest, just a patch of trees. He knew there had to be something over there right? What did a magical easter egg look like? Oh well. He would figure it out most likely.

Well, if Kaegen was looking for something, and he was, he should probably go to a really big room, and thereby have more chances of finding something. Dashing off down the corridors, moving without a sound, his grey scarf whipping behind him, he finds the door he has been looking for, and opens it. Going inside, he finds himself faced with the splendor of the ballroom. A magnificent, grand room with, no doubt, plenty of places to hide an egg.
Kaegen takes a deep breath, and then moves along the edges of the room, going around and around in a systematic patter moving inwards, opening cabinets and drawers and looking behind things as he goes. Sooner or later, if anything is in here, Kaegen is going to find it. He has some ideas of where else to look if for some reason no one decided to put an egg in here. But that was pretty ridiculous. This room was huge, it was magnificent. Someone would have thought to hide something in here. Maybe more than one something. No one else was here, maybe he would get more than one!

Aliea has heard of 'Easter' in her earlier years before Hogwarts, and apparently it was a festival where kids go searching for eggs with prizes within. Her interest piqued, and decided to give it a try. Who knows? She might stumble upon some cool things. Deciding that she'd have more luck searching outside the school building, she ran out while securing the Gryffindor robes around her shoulders.

Out of breath, Aliea stopped and looked around. She could see the huge span of the Great Lake. She'd start there. The lake was pretty big, she couldn't search the entire regionShe brushed bushes aside, checked above the trees, looked between the stems of flowers and grass. Without luck she sighed, then strode towards the edge of the lake. She peered in, crystal clear liquid just barely lapping over the tip of her shoes. Would an egg be hidden there...?
