Hi Ami!

First, feel free to call me Willow or Will or really whatever you want! Anderson feels so weird and formal~ It is so nice to hear from you! I have definitely seen you around and you seem so lovely! Also, don't worry about your typos. I accidentally sent a spelling mistake to Professor Kibitzer! It was so embarrassing and now I make sure I triple read my owls to professors to avoid something like that, but we're friends now so send me all your typos!

I guess I can formally introduce myself as well! I'm Willow Anderson, and I'm a first year! Although, soon to be a second year which is really weird. I'm getting so old! Not that you're old! It just feels weird having been part of this wizard world for almost a whole year, I'm a muggleborn. I also like music and maybe girls? But also boys probably! I mainly like making friends. I also really like drawing, painting, flowers, and the great outdoors!

I would love to make friendship bracelets for you and your friends~ What colors do you want? You can use as many colors as you want but probably no more than six for a decent color scheme. Do you have a certain vibe or pattern in mind? I can make basically anything to your heart's content! I put a bracelet on the leg of this owl as an example of stuff I can do! I hope you like it!

I would love to continue sending owls to you, my friend group is mostly first years so it will be nice to know someone that has been around the Hogwarts block a couple times. I hope to hear from you soon!

I hope you do not mind that I chose to call you Will! I think it suits you. Willow seems to… common, you know? I like Will better. Like, a lot better. And just a heads up, second year is gonna kick ass butt. However awesome you thought you’re first year was, double it. Get it? 2nd year? 2? Double? I dunno, I thought it was clever. But it probably wasn’t.

I love the little bracelet you sent! It looks really pretty and I like that pattern. But whatever pattern you think looks nice is also okay with me. Because, to tell you a secret, I pretend I know a lot about fashion but I really don’t. So I know this probably seems like a very ugly color skeme, but do you think you could make one with Hufflepuff yellow and Ravenclaw blue sections? Well not one. Four. We’re not the best of friends but the dinamyc when we’re together is through the charts, you know? So maybe it will bring us closer together. I don’t know.

Or do what you want! It’s your choice. I’m just really glad you can help me out, you know? But anyway you should tell me more about yourself! Like… where did you grow up? Vanilla or chocolate? Do you like math? Do you like your parents? Do you have siblings? Why do you think you’re a Hufflepuff?

I actually have a friend in Ravenclaw who calls me Will, and I kind of like it! I don't know, I think it makes me seem cooler than I actually am. Shortened nicknames always seem to have that effect don't they? I hope second year is better than the first, especially with every that's happened. A relaxing year would be a nice change of pace. But, I doubt that'll happen at somewhere like Hogwarts. It seems that wherever there is magic, there's chaos. It can feel a bit overwhelming at times. Do you have any advice for dealing with how much this school can feel like?

I'm glad you liked it! I already whipped up those bracelets you asked for with Ravenclaw blue and Hufflepuff yellow. I tried to emulate a wave with what you told me about you guys. A wave just one by itself, or possible two that crash against each other may not seem like much. But four combined can be quite a force to be reckoned with. Just like last time, I've attached all four of them to the leg of the owl! Luckily they're super light, I would feel bad for the owl if bracelets were for some reason super heavy and he had to carry them around the castle.

So, to answer a few of your questions. I grew up in Willen, England. I prefer strawberry over vanilla and chocolate. I don't hate math but it's not my favorite thing to do either. I love my parents, they're my whole world. I'm an only child, but I wished I had a big sister or a little brother. But, I mean, at Hogwarts I kind of found a brother. I don't know if you know Flash Holmwood, he's a first year Slytherin like me. We met in herbology one day and decided we would be siblings, and now he's my best friend in the whole world. I think I'm a Hufflepuff because.. well... I don't know. I think I fit the values of Hufflepuff really well, but I think there's just something in me that calls for Hufflepuff. That might seem cheesy, but I think it's true. What about you? Why do you think you ended up in Hufflepuff?

Congratulations to you on making it through another year yourself~ You'll be a fourth year how old. Will you be attending the Quidditch match? I'd love to see you in the stands during the match!

Seriously dudette!! The bracelets were totally rocking, I love them so so much. My friends really like them too! I'm sure that we'll wear them for forever and ever. At least until one of them breaks or something silly like that. Otherwise we'll wear them forever.

And yeah. Hogwarts can kind of suck you know? Like there's a lot of bad things. And to be completely honest with you I don't know how I stop thinking about the bad stuff. Maybe it's because I focus on the good stuff you know? Like my friends and all the cool stuff that magic can do or flying or my cat Leo or stuffing my face at the Great Hall... but it's not like I ignore it. I mean I do. But only a little bit. I think (this is what my mom told me) you can aknowlij all the bad stuff but then you can appreciate the good stuff a little bit more you know? Like life already has some pretty sucky things and when you add magic to that maybe it makes the good a little bit better and the bad a little worse.

And to be honest with you I don't know why I ended up in Hufflepuff. I really don't. In fact I really think that I should be in Gryffindor but that might just be because my best friend is in Gryffindor and it would be sick to be in the same house as him but also houses don't really matter you know? But maybe that proves just why I'm a Hufflepuff. I'll do pretty much anything and everything for my friends and family and the people I love you know? So maybe that's why. It's sorta what keeps me going.

AND DUH I'LL BE COMING TO THE QUIDDITCH MATCH! I bet we'll crush those stinky Russian to a pulp. We have you! And Serena! And Quinn! And the other people!!! There's no way we can lose.
