Something
Marissa looked at James and nodded with a wince. She looked down at her hands and so did James. Her hands had some bruises on them and also multiple small cuts that didn't look too good. James looked back up at Marissa and saw that she was starting to sniffle a little bit and tears were forming in her eyes and rolling down her cheeks.
Oh, Marissa... James thought sympathetically.
James could only imagine that she was hurt more than he was, well, because she was the one who had taken the fall.
Marissa looked over at James with an expression that was seemingly worrisome. Was Marissa worried about him? She was the one who had fallen! She should be the one who needs to be worried about, James thought.
In any case, James didn't feel like he had any cuts or bruises. Maybe a twisted ankle or some bruises on his legs, but that was it. Marissa had cuts on her hands and probably her arms too. Her legs would probably not be in the best shape either...
But in a sudden moment, Marissa's eyes got a dizzy look tot hem, and she fell over. Marissa put her hand on her head and curled into a small ball. James instantly shot out his arm to steady her, and keep her from hitting her head on the ground.
"Oh, gosh! Marissa?" he exclaimed, getting past worried and more scared. What if she lost consciousness!? Is she okay?
James looked up at Ava who was still in the tree.
"We need to get her to the Hospital Wing!"

Something
Ava quickly jumped down. "Of course we have to!" she did not even think about this. She immediately started panicking and ran up to her, leaving her sketchbook and camera there. She quickly took the girl's book with her and held it tightly, trying to help the girl up. She tried to look like she was organized and well... knew what she was doing, but the panic quickly became overwhelming and she started tearing down. She still helped the girl and tried to say something to the James guy, but she just could not. The tears and the guilt would not let her and she felt like something blocked her vocal cords and she could not let any sound out of her mouth.
She almost fell alone when she was walking over to James. She wiped away the tears and tried to pull herself together. It worked to some degree. She was not crying anymore, but she was still panicking. *You idiot. Why would you do that? She was scared when you walked up to her, and now you scared her even more. Really? Common logic, you idiot. You really should not do that if you want to make a good first impresssion. You-* the girl cut her thoughts off before they got too dark. She looked at James. "I'm so sorry..." she said.

Marissa, still feeling lightheaded and dizzy, leaned onto James as silent tears fell down her cheeks. She was hurting all over, and it was not fun. Mari did not realise that she was leaning onto James, she just needed someone there at the moment.
She kept her eyes squeezed shut, but even that did not help. Mari continued to feel dizzy even with her eyes shut, it felt like she was being spun around on a chair over and over again. She sniffled and wiped away a tear before opening her eyes. Ava had run over to them both, tying to help them. Marissa tried to say something but nothing came out, she could not speak at this moment, she was too emotional.
As she stayed leaning on James for support, she rubbed her elbow where it stung. She must of hit her head and elbow at some point during the fall or when she hit the ground. Being hurt was not fun, what would Claryssa think of this. Her thoughts instantly snapped to her twin sister. She would be so worried and annoyed at the same time. Annoyed as Marissa was silly enough to climb to tree without help and worried because she had been hurt without her being there.

With some difficulty, James lifted Marissa off the ground. He was not the strongest eleven year old in the world, but Marissa wasn't too heavy for him. He picked her up from the ground, wincing as he put weight on his left leg which had been twisted or injured in some way by the fall.
"I'm so sorry..." Ava said from next to James. James didn't look over at her. Not because he was angry at her or anything, he just needed to concentrate on not dropping Marissa and not letting his weak leg get the best of him. He also didn't look over because he assumed Ava was apologizing to Marissa. James didn't think he needed any apologies, nor did he want any. It was Marissa who was important right now. He needed to ignore his own pain in order to help Marissa with her's.
And that was another thing wrong with James. He cared about other people, but often ignored his own needs, forgetting to also care about himself.
Focus! Get help from Ava! You shouldn't be like-
Lachoneus! I know! Just leave me alone.
Oh dear...
"Ava!" James struggled out, "Grab our stuff, please!"
James tried to sift the weight he was carrying (his own and Marissa's) and started trekking back to the castle, limping with every step, but slowly getting there.
In any normal situation, James would have noticed and blushed at the fact that Marissa was leaning against him, but this time, he did not notice and only focused on getting her to the Hospital Wing.
