Ben picked himself up off the ground and brushed the snow off his clothes with a grin. Bloom ran off and seemed to smile back at him. He couldn't help but have a stupid smile on his face as he packed the next snowball and followed her. It seemed she had hit a girl near Reid. Was she aiming for Reid? Did that make it okay for him to hit Reid? He thought for a moment as he covered the distance between himself and Bloom.

Reid it is!

The snowball left Ben's hand in a desperate attempt to hit Reid before he took cover next to Bloom behind the bushes. It felt silly to be behind the bushes with a girl and he hoped they wouldn't be caught. Would they be judged? Oh well. Ben went for it anyways. Secretly he hoped to hit Reid in his face but anywhere would do at this point. Their friendship had been rocky so this would either fix it or make it more tense. He was a bit unsure and did not care.

"Bloom, you're the best girlfriend." he said as he reached her, feeling silly for actually saying the phrase out loud.

ACTION: THROW SNOWBALL AT REID KOVAC'S HANDSOME FACE (4,3,1,2)
! Snowball Fight ! Event
He grinned as his bludger-snowball hit Reyna's side, a bit harder than he wanted it to...He wasn't sure as to what to do, to tone down his own strength...No lie though, he did make it seem like a rage-induced-bludger-snowball throw...Yeah he should probably stop doing that.

"Hmn...I should just target someone random..." Siege would say, picking up another handful of snow, and molded it into a regular sized snowball, not a bludger one mind you. His hands went over the snow, over and over again, molding it into another snowball that he could throw, at someone anyone...

-Mellows? I already threw it at him, he might dodge it again...Reyna behind me? I already hit her, and she's on the ground...Anyone? Anyone at all? Not Serena...Yeah no, definitely not her...The prefects? Nah, barely know any of them, some more teachers? Maybe actually...Eh, lemme just get someone that's random...Imma let God decide this sh**!-

Siege would finish molding his snowball, and looked down at it, wondering who'll get it. He began to scan his surroundings once more, and found no suitable person or persons for his Snowball...Well he wasn't one to keep a grudge anyways, and that snowball at Reyna was just for fun...For him at least. He reached back and turned around, and threw it randomly...Remember when I said he never kept grudges? Well apparently the law of physics did, since that snowball was headed straight for the girl, he never wanted it to hit...

FAIL: Serena Towers misses Michelle completely but somehow manages to hit the snowball that she threw by accident. They both end up colliding and disappearing into a puff of white powder.

FAIL: Ben Eckenrode misses his throw at Reid Kovac's handsome face. What a shame! Luckily it means Reid's face is probably still handsome for another round.

FAIL: Siege Aramastus Bal randomly throws a snowball around at full speed. It ends up flying right past the tip of Serena's nose, narrowly missing her face.

Serena threw her snowball towards her fellow Hufflepuff in order to save the Gryffindor lying on the floor earlier. She completely missed the girl but her bad throw managed to stop the snowball, at least. She fist pumped. By complete accident, she had managed to save the Gryffindor - or she had done absolutely nothing because both of the throws were such failures that the girl would have been fine anyway. Running up to her, she smiled and called out, "Hey, you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" She asked the Gryffindor with a smile on her face, voicing her care and concern. Whoever attacked her must have hit her hard if she was just lying in the snow for a while.

The Hufflepuff was about to lean down and help the girl up, if she was able to stand. At that moment, a cold breeze suddenly flew past her face. Her eyes widened. It couldn't see much but a flash of white. "AAAH-" She started to scream as she suddenly stumbled backwards. The large snowball had scraped right past the tip of her nose. It had been far too close to her face. She fell backwards, hitting the ground behind her and sat on the snow besides the other girl. "What the-" She started as she blinked, trying to recover but that close call. That snowball was so fast. It probably would have broken her face if it had hit her. Blinking, she turned to look in the direction that the snowball had come from, trying to see where it came from.

Her gaze fell onto one boy. The one she was trying to avoid this whole time. Apparently God hated her because his random throw had almost broken her face. Of course, in her eyes, it looked like he had purposefully tried to hit her. Serena's eyes hit his face, and just blinked at him for a while. That... jerk! Was he trying to hurt her again or was this his way of being nice and trying to friend her again? She didn't know but it was really annoying either way. If he was trying to be nice, just talking to her would have been a start. He's the one who told her to 'stay the hell away from him' if she didn't want to him to hurt her and now he was trying to hurt her. She glared at him. He was so infuriating! Ahh! Boys are so stupid!

Clutching some snow in her hand, she instinctively padded it into a ball. Without a second's pause or thought, she threw it in his direction, "Ahh you- you jerk!" Serena put so much of her strength into it - even though she didn't stop to aim it properly - that she almost faceplanted into the snow whilst sitting there as her arm continued to move and struggled to stop. In fact, her arm hurt a little by the time she released the snowball at her terrible method of throwing it from the ground..

Delighted to be back in the thick of the snowball fight, Adam stayed in the open just long enough to see Dmitri get nailed with his weapon before ducking down behind a thick tree. He had a feeling that this battle was soon to come to an end; after all, it had drawn the attention of more and more professors, and while they had all joined in the fun, it couldn't be that long before one of them decided to take authoritative action and put a stop to the whole thing. Especially if more people get slammed in the face. Catching his breath from his hiding place behind the tree, Adam reminded himself of his final goal. He needed to hit a Gryffindor to round it all out. He couldn't fail this time, but prior experience had taught him that it probably wasn't the smartest to come after one of his friends again. He'd have to look elsewhere.

Hearing a shout from nearby, Adam peered over curiously and saw his recent ally, Serena Towers, seated on the snowy ground. She seemed more angry than usual, almost scarier. He saw her throw a vicious snowball powerfully across the grounds, and turning around to look from the other side of the tree, he caught sight of her target -- or, the boy he assumed was her target. He didn't know the Gryffindor prefect personally, but he had heard his name. Siege Aramatus Bal. He seemed as good a target as any -- after all, he did meet Adam's one criterion -- and it would probably be a good idea to aid Serena like she had done with him. Yeah, he thought. Yeah, that'll work. Packing together a hard-hitting snowball, he took aim and let the projectile fly. He hoped she'd appreciate his help.

Reyna grinned as she watched her snowball make contact with Reid's chest, even as he dived to the side. Then, she watched as he got hit in the back of the head and faceplanted in the snow, and she grew to be slightly concerned for him. Then, she watched as the snowball flying towards her was intercepted by another snowball hitting it. Her 'savior', the person who had intercepted the other snowball, ran towards her and asked her if she was okay. "I'm fine... I think. probably just a bit of bruising in the ribs - Siege throws hard, you know?" she said, her face contorted in slight pain as she attempted to smile.

Then, she watched as a snowball flashed close by Serena's face, and as Serena turned around and chucked a snowball at Siege. No mercy from Siege, apparently... Reyna thought grimly, realizing quickly that Siege must have been the one that had targeted Serena. After all, who could throw a snowball that fast? She gritted her teeth in anger before rolling up a thick, heavy snowball that ended up even revealing the dead grass that was beneath the snow. It was quite heavy in her hand, and she could feel that there might be a bit of ice in it. Siege showed no mercy to us, so I'll show no mercy to him either... Reyna thought, managing to get on her knees as she hefted the heavy snowball.

I'm so done with him... she thought, shifting the snowball so that it was only in the palm of her right hand. She leaned back slightly before throwing the snowball at Siege with all her might, her body shifting along with it as the heavy snowball flew through the air towards Siege's side. An eyes for an eye... a side for a side. Reyna thought bitterly hoping that it hit.

Clary victoriously grinned as her snowball went sailing across the small clearing and made an impact with Dymphna's arm. The expression on her friend and fellow Quidditch player/Ravenclaw writer's face was absolutely priceless, yet her victory was short lived as she suddenly felt a ball of freezing cold ice slam into her neck. The young Ravenclaw girl immediately stiffened, wincing as a bit of the ice threatened to fall down into her robes, and hastily brushed it off, whipping around to figure out who the culprit was, while she attempted to duck behind the small fortification her sister Marissa was continuing to build up. Around her, thick, white snowflakes continued to grace the occupants of the area's surroundings, and the games continued on, a mixed range of emotions able to be read from the facial expression of the various student and Professor participants.

Aha! While scanning the crowd, Clary finally found the perpetrator of the crime. Anatole Evans, a First Year Gryffindor who she happened to not have the best first encounter with had tossed the snowball right at her neck. Yikes, they may not have gotten along that well, but that was simply brutal. Sure, Clary had attempted to aim at him before, but after missing she'd had the good graces to give up on the conflict. Apparently, Anatole had different plans in store. Her eyes narrowing on the boy, she ducked her head behind the fort, grabbing one of Mari/James' pre-made snowballs, and popped her head back up, hurling the ball of ice with all of the strength she could possibly muster in Anatole's direction. It was nothing personal; revenge was just a dish best served cold.

Aha! Finally, one of her snowballs had hit the target. A sense of pride filled the Gryffindor female, but it soon turned into worry as she watched her best friend, Reid, face-plant into the snow. Right after he had gotten hit in the back of his head, too! She ran over to help him up, bent at the waist as she went. Hopefully, no one would catch her with a snowball that time. When she approached him, she bent down and lent him a hand. "Hey, loser," Was her choice of greeting. Obviously by now, this was the normal etiquette for the two. Loser and Dingus were simply just in his list of nicknames for him now.

Once she had helped him up, she scouted for her new target, while holding her pinky up in order to call a truce with Reid. "Truce?" She inquired, even though she was almost positive that their truce went without saying. Sabrina didn't like competing on her own, and whenever she needed a teammate she seemed to simply gravitate Reid's way. They worked together like Bonnie and Clyde in some ways. Especially if they treated this as criminal work.

It didn't take long for Sabrina to notice where most of the students were aiming - and that happened to be the Gryffindor boy that Sabrina had met in the Corridors a while ago. Siege, he said his name was? She thought he was on the Newspaper team as well, but she couldn't be too sure. She wasn't going to go for him, though. She could try for someone else, though. As she gathered another snowball into her bare, pink hands, which were numbed by the cold by this point, she picked out a different target. She didn't have to think twice before she threw her snowball at one of the other people she knew on the field, the Hufflepuff prefect.

She ducked too late. Before she knew it, her yelp to duck down turned to a yelp of surprise as the snowball made contact with her. Like a bomb, it blew up into powdery white snow on her forehead, before scattering around. Ouch, that stung. She stumbled backward a bit, her hand instinctively going up to rub her forehead. After a short pause, she began laughing. Serves her right; this was a real-world example of the Golden rule. She sent the blonde Hufflepuff boy a small wave of her hand; He'd gained her respect after all.

Lucette felt the time drawing to a close, feeling like she needed to get the last few hits in before. She felt herself chuckle, looking at her friends. They were safe behind their fort wall, but what would happen if one of them were to betray the rest? She didn't want to sit around and find out. Lucette began to step backward, calling out. "Hold on guys! I'll get more ammo!

She ran a few feet backward. She didn't lie though; she was getting ammo, just for herself. Tripping over a rock, and stumbled and fell to her knees. She giggled to herself; Looks like fate had decided where she would get her projectiles from. Digging into the snow below her, she quickly formed a snowball. It was a bit small in size, seeing how she needed it to move fast and to not actually cause her pals harm. Before she knew it, she turned on her heels, aiming for her fellow Slytherin. Pulling her arm back and planting her foot down, she quickly whipped it forward, chucking the snowball as if she was pitching at a ball game.

Ezekiel laughed a bit. He was having a great time with all of this. No one had even thrown at him yet. He was honestly amazed by that. He turned to talk to Lucette just as she was hit by the snowball. "You okay?" He asked, but she quickly shook it off, giving a thumbs up to the boy. He smiled and rolled up another snowball as Lucette said she would get more snow. "Good, cause I'll take you all out with me." He thought to himself, smiling.

He was about to throw his snowball towards Professor Blackburn once more, just as he heard a thump behind him. He turned to see Lucette had fallen to the ground and was gathering snow up into a ball. He turned back to Blackburn as he heard the footstep behind him. He whipped around, snowball at the ready as Lucette let hers fly directly at his face. He reacted quickly, dropping to the ground and throwing his own back at her. "So it comes to this now? Friends turn at the end of the game." He laughed softly as the snowball left his hands. He would die with honor.
