Wating at the lake.
Eri sat by the lake waiting for her friend Erwin Scott. She had told him earlier that day to meet her by the great lake after classes. So they could hang out. As always he was running late. About three minutes over time. That's not very much, but to that Eri that was way to long. He always did this to bother her. So she sighed and sat by the great lake wait for him to come. He might have gotten caught up in his homework. Eri knew the real reason. He liked to be late just to aggravate her.
She stared out towards the lake and threw a rock skipping it over the calm surface of the lake. This is what she intended to do to pass the time and wait for him. Now he was five minutes late. Well she never actually told him a specific time to come out and meet her but did she care. Not really.
She stopped throwing rocks at the lake and picked up a book out of her bag and began to read. As she read she wondered what excuse he might make about his lateness. He might not even make one.

Wating at the lake.
Erwin glanced at the muggle watch on his arm and his eyebrows furrowed. Why did he have this odd feeling that he was forgetting something...
Then it hit him!
He was supposed to meet Eri at the lake and it slipped his mind completely.
"She's gonna be so mad!"
He mumbled as he grabbed his bag with his books,supplies and a blanket before literally running towards the lake. He got pulled over and given detention twice but he didn't seem to care at the moment. All he cared about was getting there before she left. He slipped on the grass beside the lake before he spotted the familiar dark hair and smiled.
"Hey Eri!"
He shouted as he raced towards the Ravenclaw who looked extremely bored.
"Sorry..I didn't mean to be late."
He grinned and plopped down beside her. For some odd reason she always thought that he deliberately tried to aggravate her but that wasn't true at all. In fact, He hated when she was annoyed. He couldn't help that he was clumsy and often bumped into her or the fact that he had a horrible memory. He didn't say anything against her of course because he knew Ravenclaws loved to be right and he didn't want to lose the only friend he had made so far.

As she was reading she heard a familiar voice yell her name. She watched Erwin plop down beside her. She looked up from her book. "Hi Erwin." She put the book down. "I'll let it slide this time. I guess I believe you. Somewhat. So what happened this time? Did you get lost, or did you get held back by someone?" She asked wondering what happened to make him so late. She looked over at him and smiled. No longer annoyed she looked over the lake. The sun's rays reflected over the still water as the wind calmly rippled through the water.
She smiled at him. "What do you want to do now?" She hated being annoyed at him so she just let it go. She smiled at him and waited for his answer. She listened to the birds in the distance.
She thought that he was being serious so she forgave him. She kind of thought he was still out to annoy her but she decided to just drop the thought and move on.
It was such a nice day out on the school grounds. The sun was shining over the lake as the two sat there. She waited for his response.
