Felicia slid her fingers across cool walls as she ascended up towards the astronomy tower. Hufflepuff was a homely house and all, but having a common room on the first floor was a bit bland. Since arriving at Hogwarts, the first year had the urge to explore the castle and she had discovered many exciting sites tucked within the enchanted halls. Today, her adventurous spirit directed her to the Astronomy tower. After having a class with Professor Karr, Felicia knew she had to come back. The plush cushions were comfy, and the view was breathtaking.

While most people were drawn to the tower for star gazing, Felicia made sure to arrive just as the sun began to set. Back home, she would join her Auntie Grace in meditate afternoon meditation. Auntie Grace would always strive to stay upbeat and did her best to teach Felicia the perks of having a positive attitude. Some days at Hogwarts were harder than others, but Felicia worked hard to maintain a warm and demure posture among her peers. However, this was considerably tiring, so from time to time Felicia sought solace to recharge and calm her mind.

She settled down and sat cross-legged on one of the tower's cushions, she straightened out her robes, took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and pictured her Aunty Grace back at home glancing at the same sun.

"When times get tough, just find a quiet place and breathe. Keep kissing the horizon Fifi pronounced "Fee-fee". Hogwarts won't know what hit it when my niece gets there!"

Those were the last words Felicia's Aunt Grace told her before she boarded the Hogwarts Express. Thinking of her Aunt's warm embrace always cheered her up. To finish up her little meditation session, Felicia opened her eyes, sat taller, raised her chin a bit higher, and confidently flipped her hair back. She then grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill to jot down a few quick notes about how her time at Hogwarts was going so far. Surely, Aunty Grace would appreciate an owl.
