Sapphire discovered the key and you could see the gears turning in her head. The rug, that was the missing piece from earlier. The threads of the rug were the colors of the Hogwarts houses. It didn't matter much, because now, they had the key. Sapphire walked over to the desk, close to Mars with the clear intent of slipping the key in one of the locks.

Luck was on her side. The key slipped in the hole easily and the lock gave way, allowing the drawer to slid open easily. Sadly, this drawer was as empty as the one that Mars had opened not that long ago. The only clue in there was the fact that it wasn't dusty. The indicator that Katrina had messed with it. They were close now, closer than they had been before.

Two drawers had opened, and two drawers had been empty. There was still something though. Adonis was still holding the picture frame. Maybe that would lead to the key that they needed in order to open the last lock. The game was still afoot.

Katrina still had the smirk etched onto her face. This was so exciting for her to simply sit back and watch her club get to work. Her plan had gone perfectly. From what she could tell, her club members were enjoying this almost as much as she was. The longer it went on, the more Katrina wanted to do another one.

How does this work?
Choose any of the items bolded in the first modpost (mysterious not bolded things are actually not a clue, so don't waste a turn looking at it) and at the end of each post be sure to state your action. (Such as 'Investigating stain on wall' or 'Looking under the umbrella' these are not actual clues!) Beware that some bolded things actually have no clue hidden or there might not be something hidden in one round but might be there the next (for the sake of someone finding the last clue or something) When someone finds a clue, it will be in the form of an item the modpost explicitly says is a clue or slip of paper with some words on it that lead to the next clue.[/center]

Someone please post... this is the last round. Anyone can godmod taking the photo out of Adonis' hand and get the key from the candlebra.

Gods, I am so so so so so so so so so sorry for not posting. I just got the motivation to do it. (really I should be doing work in real life, but we won't talk about that.
SAPPHIRE WAS EXCITED, which would be a mildly amusing expression to see on her face. It was quite obvious that she didn't smile often. That excitement, however, was immediately dampened by the emptiness of the drawer. Both of the ones that had already been opened were empty, which meant the last drawer most likely would be the one with either the next clue or the finisher for the hunt. That brought her spirits back up a bit.

She ran her gaze across the room, trying to find something that would give at least a clue towards where the last key would be. She almost missed Adonis looking at the picture frame in his hands, but her gaze snapped back to him. She furrowed her brows, thinking maybe that had some significance, and walked up, looking down at the photo (whether upside down or right side up, I don't really know).

It was of the room, with barely a difference except for the circle in blue pen around the candelabra. She looked back up from the image and searched for the item, finding it not very far away. She headed over there to check out the piece of furniture with interest. It wasn't like most candelabra's she'd found, for one reason mainly. The hinges on the left side. She supposed that was certainly a significant detail and took it upon herself to pry it open.

Within it, she found a key with the letter E on it. A smile somewhere between something genuine and a smirk spread across her face, and she pulled it out. She then headed back over to the drawers, looking at the final un-opened drawer. The middle one, which Mars had tried and failed to open with their key.

She took a breath, almost as if steeling herself, before inserting the key in the lock and twisting. This one's gotta work, right?
Action: Taking the E key and attempting to unlock the middle drawer

Sapphire was taking the lead on this hunt. The gears were turning and things were happening. Katrina was delighted to see that she had put together the final piece.

Sapphire took note of the picture frame still in Adonis' hands and looked up at the candlebra. Katrina watched intently as Sapphire worked it open, revealing the key inside. Yet again, Sapphire had done it. You could see the excitement on her face, fuel to Katrina's fire.

Sapphire made her way back over to the drawers and slid the key in the slot. With a satisfying click, the lock would open and the drawer would slide open easily, the well oiled machine was loose. Unlike before, the inside of the drawer was occupied. There were four sheets of paper and a handful of chocolate frogs.

Upon further inspection, Sapphire would find that each paper had a skillful sketch of each of them. Katrina's little gift to her first five members. Beside the papers were the chocolate frogs, a few for each person.

I ran out of time OOC to make the drawings, sorry! But feel free to take them IC and cherish them forever! As far as the chocolate frogs go, feel free to take as many as you want IC and I can give you one or two OOC if you are missing any bronzes. Thanks for participating and keep you eyes open for more owls or discord chats about the upcoming hunts! Kat will stick around so feel free to leave, chat, or mess with things, there are still a few clues left to play with, although there are no more prizes.

WHEN SAPPHIRE GOT THE DRAWER OPEN, she was pleasantly surprised to see that within the drawer was two items - well, two groups of items. One was a stack of 4 papers and the other was a handful of chocolate frogs. She briefly glanced at Katrina and couldn't help but smile a little. Then she turned back to the drawer, grabbing two chocolate frogs. She put them in her pocket and examined the stack of papers.

It didn't take much to realize what they were - drawings of the members of the hunt. It was a nice gift, and certainly, one that she didn't expect. She didn't expect to get such a thought out thing. She picked them up, rifling through the stack to find the right one. It was quick, of course, given that there were only 4 there. Then she set the stack back down in the drawer, allowing the other members of the hunt to grab their own.

She got up from her crouching position and stepped away a bit, looking down at the skilled drawing. It was quite good, she could say. She had always had a sense of appreciation for art.

The pale-haired girl turned away from the drawer and heading back towards the door. She paused before leaving, turning towards Katrina. "Um, thanks for setting this up, Kat," she said with a slightly shy smile. Then she exited, still holding the drawing in her hand.
