noun
=============================
===
    an apparition or double of a living person..
Charlotte hugged her textbooks tightly to her chest as she exited her class, the young Hufflepuff trying her best to maneuver carefully around the other students. She was smaller than the average first year, leaving her to wonder if that was a pro or a con. She considered it to be a little mix of both if she really thought about it.

As she made her way down the stairs, her eyes fixed on nothing in particular. Her only concern at the moment was to get to the Hufflepuff common room, though telling by the speed of the students moving in the hallway, she figured that wouldn't be for a while.

Charlotte stealthily tried to move in front of the other students, her arm grazing upon a third year that gave her a nasty glare. She lowered her eyes and pushed on, trying to avoid eye contact with anyone or anything.

Though due to the fact of not paying attention as to where she was walking, she bumped into someone, causing her to jump back in surprise. Her vision was a bit blurred, so all she could make out was a blonde head. "Ah, I'm sorry! I should've watched where I was going-" Though she stopped short of her sentence, Charlotte's once frightened face now wearing a look of confusion.

"Wait a second... Do you- Do you look like me?" She asked quietly, walking towards the girl to get a better look.
No- That's impossible! She had to be going mad; perhaps when she bumped into her it messed with her head. There was no way someone looked.. exactly like her. It was almost as if she'd found her doppelganger of some sorts.

Serena made her way through the corridors, squeezing in between several students. "Sorry! Excuse me!” She said to a third-year student she accidentally bumped into. Serena just had to make it a few more feet, and then she’d be in the Hufflepuff Common Room and she could cuddle her cat, Oliver.

But it seemed as if Serena was too focused on her cat and not on where she was going because she felt herself bump into someone. She hadn’t seen who she had bumped into except that they had blonde hair. “Don’t be… I also should have watched where I was going…” She said, giving a small smile while looking up.

But as Serena laid eyes on the person who she bumped into, the smile dropped, and chills overcame her body as her eyes widened. No, that couldn’t be right! This girl looked exactly like her! It was like her reflection had stepped out of the mirror and into real life!

“What the hell!” She exclaimed without thinking. Normally, the Hufflepuff restrained from swearing in the halls because you never knew when a professor or prefect could come around the corner. But running into a doppelganger seemed like a good exception to break out the foul language.

Serena didn’t know how to respond to the girl’s question. Did this girl look like Serena, or did Serena look like this girl? “I-I guess…?” She eventually uttered out. Better than saying nothing, she supposed. “Who are you? Am I dreaming? Am I being pranked? What’s going on?” Serena rapidly questioned. Honestly, she hoped that if this was a dream, that she’d wake up soon. This was way too weird. And if it wasn’t a dream, well…Serena didn’t know what to do then.
